New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, M. Leighton, is a native of Ohio. She relocated to the warmer climates of the South, where she can be near the water all summer and miss the snow all winter. Possessed of an overactive imagination from early in her childhood, Michelle finally found an acceptable outlet for her fantastical visions: literary fiction. Having written over a dozen novels, these days Michelle enjoys letting her mind wander to more romantic settings with sexy Southern guys, much like the one she married and the ones you'll find in her latest books. When her thoughts aren't roaming in that direction, she'll be riding wild horses, skiing the slopes of Aspen or scuba diving with a hot rock star, all without leaving the cozy comfort of her office.

About Michelle: I love coffee and chocolate, even more so when they are combined. I'm convinced that one day they could be the basis for world peace. I also love the color red and am seriously considering dying my hair.

Great fast paced conclusion! I wanted more drama and I wanted answers. ..M Leighton delivered!

Sig Locke is good...thru and thru! This boy in blue is loyal and fierce. He goes for what he wants and goes all in! When "Tommi's" world of lies collapses...it is Sig who puts up the fight...He not only fights with Tommi but also for her. He may risk everything and come up with nothing...

So I admit the heat was dialed down, but the angst is turned up and the emotions are high! Pure raw lust and desire have turned into need and forever want. I loved how the romance evolved and the story came together. The secrets unexpected...the OMG moments quite stunning...the story was a whole completely entertaining! PS...that intense heat returns in the sweetest happiest manner too :)

This was the perfect conclusion for All Things Pretty. Michelle nailed it. Sig and Tommi broke my heart but they came out much stronger because of it. Just a seriously great conclusion and you should read it.

Sig and Tommi have been walking a fine line between non disclosure and protection. When their situation takes a turn for the worse, Tommi has no choice but to trust Sig with her secrets. And boy does she have some big, ugly, complicated ones. Together they have to take on the forces against them and figure out how to ensure all of their safety.

But can Sig live with her past actions and still be the law abiding cop he is supposed to be? And will Tommi be understanding of Sig's big secret once she finds out?

The past, lies, secrets, betrayal, illegal activity are all disclosed. These are two people (well, three if you count her brother Travis) who were thrown together in challenging circumstances while withholding hidden pasts that now have to fight together for their safety, their chance at freedom, happiness, and a future.

I really loved Sig and Tommi. They never shuld have been involved or fallen in love, but the pull was stronger than their resistance. Their pasts and circumstances couldn't be more different, but fundamentally they were caring, strong people who loved their families and could not help forging a forbidden connection. Sig was an alpha hero with a good heart and determination to fix the situation and keep his promises. And Tommi was a woman caught up in a situation that got out of hand and she only wanted to protect those she loved. It was tense, suspenseful, emotional, and dramatic.

I loved getting more with Sloane and Hemi from All the Pretty Lies...Big Happy sigh...

M. Leighton was very generous to give this second part away for free. I am glad she wanted to tell their whole story and not cut it down due to restrictions. It was an intriguing, nerve racking, romantic and heartfelt conclusion to All Things Pretty and I enjoyed every page of it.

I was holding my breath

what an intense finale. the raw emotions of each page grabbed my heart. I couldn't get to the next page quick enough....wondering what was gonna happen. Sig is a sexy cop who helps and saves Tia and Travis. Tia or also known as Tommi was a child who had to try and cope with an awful situation and complications that followed. she always protected her live ones at her expense.
now Travis has aspergers but is highly functional. I absolutely fell head over heals for him. his sarcastic quick wit and one liners made me laugh out loud.
everyone sacrificed and luckily they got their HEA.

I read the part two, I understood why Tommi being Tommy n what had happened when she was 13. I remember when I was 13, just a childish, looking for nothing, but Tommi,..... If I was her, I m sure I will broken, maybe just killed myself.

Tommi deserves a good life, someone she love, n being love, even I understood it should be HEA, my tears doing down because Tommi just did it, what may I do if I was her in 13.

I love the story, part one 4 stars n the whole book is great, n I give my 4.5 in final.

Leaving my review for both parts of 'All Things Pretty' on both pages.. :-) I am in awe right now! 'All Things Pretty' is by far my favorite book by M. Leighton to date! Such an incredible story to start to finish. I fell in love with Sig, just as I knew I would, he was everything I'd hoped he would be and more! So well written.. ups and downs so perfectly placed.. I laughed and cried. I loved the tie-ins with Sloane and Hemi! And the ending.. happy sigh!! ☆☆☆☆☆ all the way!!!

“I’d walk through fire for you. And for anyone you care about. You don’t have to do this alone anymore. You’ve got me.”

What a great continuation. This book was gripping from start to end.

I was so glad to get Tommi’s story and all the pieces fall together. She had dealt with so much for so long. She had so much to deal with and Sig was such a light for her in all her darkness.

“I’ve had so many nightmarish days in my life. There have been days of death and violence, blood and crime, loss and grief, but somehow I’ve weathered it all. Never had I felt like dying would be a blessed relief. Until today. Today, I experienced more freedom and more betrayal than I’ve ever known. Today, I experienced the love I’ve always craved and the heartache I’ve always dreaded. Today, I experienced truth and lies, sacrifice and selfishness, bliss and desperation, and it’s tearing me apart.”

We get to see serious, kick-ass Sig that will stop at nothing to protect Tommi & Travis. He takes charge, takes no shit, and protects them with fierceness.

“Don’t believe me? Try it. Try it you son of a bitch. I will kill you if you point that thing at Tommi. I will end your life if you so much as whisper a threat against her. You don’t deserve to live and I’d thank holy God for the chance to send your ass straight to hell.”

The love Sig has for Tommi & Travis was beautiful. It was great to see Sloan & Hemi and see what’s going on with them. This was intense and sweet and I loved every minute of it! Fantastic ending.

“Sometimes love is ugly. And not all things pretty are loveable. But you…you’re not just pretty. You’re beautiful. The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Inside and out.”

~~ 5 "Perfect Ending" Stars ~~

This is the conclusion or part 2 of All Things Pretty. It concludes Sig and Tommi's story. I have to say I loved this part more than the beginning of the story (and that's saying something since I loved that part too.) As always Michelle knows how to create a wonderful story that will suck you in. Her writing style is flawless and flows perfectly….in my opinion.

This part starts off right where Part 1 ended. She left us on a cliffhanger in part 1 and with some unanswered questions regarding Tommi's past. Well don't fret….you get all the info in this part. And let me tell you…..it was one heck of a bombshell!!!! I am not going to say anything regarding the storyline in this part of the book, because I refuse to spoil it for everyone else.

If you are a M. Leighton fan, you definitely want to read this book. I absolutely loved this series and will miss all of the characters.

If you like a down-on-her luck/very imperfect heroine you will love this book! And I have to say that I do like my heroines a little damaged, ie more interesting. The first part of the story of Tommi & Sig ended with no answers as to who Tommi really is. This second installment hits you hard & fast with the God-awful truth of Tommi's past. There were no crumbs to lead the way to figure out what happened to young Tommi & now I know why - it is one of those cases where bad luck is continually dumped on the poor girl's head & she can't catch a break. She does what she can to keep her family together & now that her secrets are out in the open we can only hope that the law will be on her side & understand why she did what she had to do. But the heartbreak! OMG Tommi doesn't know what will happen to her brother Travis & even worse it seems like Sig caused her downfall with his betrayal. She needs him more than ever & he has to prove that he is 100% on her side, no matter if it hurts his career in the long run. Everything works out in the end & Tommi (AKA Tia) has a few more hurdles to overcome before she can realize what makes her happy & how to hang onto it tight with both hands. Tommi: You can't be falling in love with me. Love is pretty, not ugly. Sig: But maybe one day, after all this is over, I can be worth your love. Really awesome book!!

Sig Locke has been raised to be a cop since birth; it's in the family genes. He's spent his life trying to follow in his father's & brother's footsteps and he finally has a chance to step out from behind their shadows and work on an assignment that takes him undercover with a shot at becoming a detective. Determined to break out on his own and make his bust, Sig closes in on the one person who can get him close to his mark; Lance Tonin's girlfriend Tommi Lawrence. Sparks fly when Sig & Tommi are in close proximity and since he's been assigned to watch over her it's safe to say that sparks fly quite often.

This was a quick, steamy read and I absolutely loveeeeed the ending. Sig is loyal through and through and after months of asking her to trust him, he finally proves to Tommi that he can be trusted ♥

Full Review @ Nomi’s Paranormal Palace

After reading All Things Pretty, I have been eager to read the conclusion to Sig and Tommi’s story. I must say that after that ending, I never envisioned the direction that Michelle would take their story. It was full of heartbreak, action and determination.

Sig and Tommi had to work together to try and get a good outcome for everyone. Their secrets needed to be shared and they needed to trust one another, but of course it doesn’t go smoothly. Even though it was a difficult and emotional journey, it really was a suitable ending for not only Sig and Tommi, but for Travis too.

I never write reviews but I had to write something for this one.....Most of the time when you read a book that has a "secret" you can almost guess or have an idea of what it will be.... Well I never could figure this one out, didn't even have a clue! And when the secret came out I never imagined that it would be what it was which is why I think I liked this so much, kept me wanting to read faster just to figure it out....Not giving anything away, just read it!!! I loved this story and I LOVE SIG!!!

The conclusion to Sig and Tommi's story did not disappoint. When Tommi finally reveals the secrets she has been carrying it was quite surprising. Sig finds himself in a moral dilemma and has to fight to find the way out. He does not want to lose his moral compass, but he understands some of what Tommi went through and the decisions she had to make. Overall a good read and definitely a great way to wrap up their story. Will definitely read another book in this series when Michelle does one.

The story of Sig and Tommi was good.

***Spoiler***

Tommy had many secrets and Sig also had a secret but that secret was not going to keep him from protecting Tommi. Sig wanted her trust and her love. Tommi had a horrible past and was doing everything in her power to protect her brother. Tommy felt betrayed and Sig was willing to lose everything for Tommi.

I was happy that Sloane and Hemi were included a bit in this story. This was a good ending to the series.

I'm glad that with this second part we got to know what happened to Tommi. It wasn't a pretty story, but she did the best she could with the circumstances she had. I hated how Sig was outed as a cop, it left things really messy with Tommi and Travis, but I loved how Sig stepped up to protect them.

I think in the end things worked out how they should have.

This wasn't a brilliant conclusion to the 'All Things Pretty' story, but it was okay. This particular story just didn't connect with me. Tia/Tommi and Sig just didn't spark. Sorry, it is only my opinion.

Beautiful story!

I loved the ending of their story. I hope to see a little more of Sig, Tia, and Travis. The bathroom scene was an emotionally devastating but very profound scene that may be one of my favorites. Very nicely done!
