Hello!
Thank you for stopping by.
The short story is I was born in Toronto, Canada. When I was 16, my family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and that is where I met my wife, Bev.
We've been married for 43 years and share our home in Southwest Missouri with 4 dogs, 3 cats, 8 chickens, a herd of goats. We have 3 sons and 12 grandchildren that keep us hopping.
I've been known to ride my motorcycle in nice weather, play golf in nice weather, and tend my garden in nice weather. In bad weather, I prefer to stay inside. :)
Thanks to the support of you, our readers, I've been able to devote full time to my writing. Bev does our cover designs.
We hope you our books are enjoyable and you'll let us know.

Really enjoyed this one. These two detectives, Vanessa and Jason, worked well together. A good mystery. Kept me guessing. Joshua Bennington, the narrator, did an excellent job too! 4.5 stars!!

This series is a great, fun read! All 'episodes' are books, most can be read as stand alone books but it is so much better when you know the characters and are excited to see what happens with them next! They are police procedurals with excellent plots and characters you grow to love. This story has homeless people from the town dying ,several in same time sequence with 'heart problems' being the reason. This is quite a coincidence, and our main police officer,Jason, doesn't feel right about this reason. Jason and his partner,Vanessa, join forces with the whole staff to figure this problem out. Great characters,well-defined plots and nice scenery continue to keep these stories interesting and you keep turning the pages!!

OMG!! 10 Giant Glittering Stars!!

Book 8 was another awesome police procedural! Someone is targeting the homeless, but their deaths have all been ruled as cardiac arrest. But as the bodies mount Detectives Strong and Layne aren't convinced that it isn't homicide. But proving it is going to be a daunting task with nothing to tie the victims together except being homeless. And most of them are known by nicknames and no other personal information is available.

This was so intriguing, heart wrenching and very sad, the homeless are often not seen as real people and are usually bypassed by most of society. Having only a business card found on one of the victims they start canvassing agency's that provide help for the unhomed. With the Dr. In charge of the county morgue out with health issues they don't have the meticulous research and brilliant mind they usually have to help shed light on the situation. Finally they are convinced going under cover is the only n way to catch this monster.

Well written as always, fast paced, with glimpses into the private lives of the characters which makes them more real. I love that they are clean reads without the profanity and graphic bedroom scenes which are usually found in most detective novels today, and which I find to be a complete turnoff. Also the strong element of faith that is woven throughout the book is a definite plus! I totally enjoyed this novel, shed some tears a near the end and am looking forward to book 9. I don't know why I haven't discovered this author before now! Kudos Sir...🎉🎉👏👏🌟🌟🌟📚💞

Jason and Vanessa have a case. The homeless are dying. From natural causes? They investigate.

What a story. I've enjoyed every one of Detective Jason Strong mysteries. With each one, they get better.

Jason is a family man and down-right-good guy. Jason, Sandy, Vanessa, and Rob, all make excellent characters and would be great as neighbors.

The plots are exciting, the writing, great, putting the reader right in the scene. I look forward to the next book.

Excellent Book/Series

Jason Strong Series
I have finished the entire series and have nothing but praise for every one of them! It’s wonderful to have an author who doesn’t rely on bad language for “realism” yet peaks interest in both plot and characters. Excellent series; endearing characters; great reads.

Another 5*s for John Dalglish too short but carried sympathy for those that are homeless.

The unnoticed one who are less fortunate, come into Jasons' and Vanessas' investigation and they are the ones who are on board!

It is a pleasure to be able to read a book without bad language or explicit sex description

. I especially like to read about characters who pray or mention the bible or church. Hopefully clean writing will catch on with other writers.

This was another great story in many ways. God bless all involved. It’s a setting not understood by most. Bless those in pain.

**Book provided by the author for an honest review**

The next episode in the Det. Jason Strong series, Jason and his partner Vanessa on are case and they don't even know it! The Chief has the two detectives check out a growing problem of some dead homeless people, and the body count is rising. The belief is that they are dying from natural causes, but they need to make sure before the media creates a community crisis! After some digging and interviews, they get a solid lead that turns everything upside down, and puts Jason in direct danger from the killer by going undercover.

This episode had me quite intrigued to find out who the killer was, but would they find out before Jason is the next victim, dom dom dom!! I love it and can't wait to start the next one!

Extremely Entertaining

Okay have to admit that this book brought tears to my eyes. I have crossed the path where you begin thinking of these characters as friends. What a true blessing to be able to read a book written without someone using foul language or having to read about a sexual encounter. Instead this writer shows the love of friends and presents true family and Christian values. Outstanding. One warning. You will become so interested in these books that you will find yourself staying up later to finish the current one and force yourself not to start the next one but to sleep instead. They are that good!!!

Jason and Vanessa, with help from Lt Banks, Chase and Doc Davis solve another, edge of your seat, thrilling crime. This time it's a case involving the murder of homeless people. In an attempt to catch the culprit the team goes undercover which leads to a true cliffhanger ending. Once again I found I couldn't put the book down. Great series, keep them coming! Enjoy!

Lethal Injection

I just finished book eight of the Detective Jason Strong series . I read 7 + 8 in one day . They are good books but like I said about the others they are to short. I still recommend this series.

A great story with good interaction between the characters. Nothing offensive, some humor and actually had a strong Christian focus rather than just being listed as Christian as many are.

If you like well written, clean mysteries I highly recommend this one.

Good story but too short

The characters continue to grow and develop, the stories continue to satisfy but this book seemed to short. Maybe I just need more clean suspense!

Lethal Injection is the 8th installment of the Detective Jason Strong Mysteries. It is also the first novella in the series. A short case, but with a lot of heart that this series of clean suspense mysteries. Detective Jason Strong and his partner Vanessa Layne, have a new case as well as a new boss in Homicide, Lieutenant Sarah Banks from Missing Persons. She receives order from the chief of police to look into the death of several homeless people that have all died, without any explanation whatsoever. It seems A killer is on the loose targeting homeless people, and before an incident transpires the chief wants homicide on these cases. Detectives Strong and Layne try to figure out who is behind the crimes. This is another great book in the series that not only clean but faith-based. With the plots so far this will be the great making of a faith-based police procedural show, if your interested in good reads that are fast paced and provide a great mystery to solve, as well as a great cast of characters. I would check out this fast-paced murder mystery.
