Ryan has been an under cover narcotics cop for so long, he can't remember what it's like not to jump at shadows. But when a dark haired beauty shows up claiming that she was hired by his brother to track him down, she's jeopardized his cover and put both their lives in danger from one of the most powerful Mexican drug lords. Now they need a quiet place to hide and his cousin's farm just might be the safest place in Texas.

Jill comes from a large family with six siblings, including an identical twin. She was raised in the Pacific Northwest and later relocated to Colorado for college and a successful IT career before discovering her talent for writing sweet and sexy page-turners. After Colorado, she decided to move south, living in Texas and now making her home along the Emerald Coast of Florida. You will find that the settings of several of her series are inspired by her time spent living in these areas. She has two sons and off-set the testosterone in her house by adopting three furry little ladies that provide her company while she’s locked in her writing cave. She enjoys heading to the beach, hiking, swimming, wine-tasting, and pickleball with her husband, and of course writing. If you have read any of her books, you may also notice that there is a love of food, especially sweets! She has been blamed for a few added pounds by her assistant, editor, and fans… donuts or pie anyone?
I was given this in exchange for my honest opinions. Just like me, Princess had no chance at escaping from the green-eyed mystery man. This is my new favorite of the series. Ryan has it all. Nikke's perfect for him. And then throw in his identical twin, Reece. What's not to love?
Book 6 and it is Ryan’s turn to feel the bite of Fairfax lovebug! Melissa has hired a private detective to track down her fiancé Reece’s twin brother Ryan, sort of helping him to piece his life back together in preparation for their wedding. She knows that Reece really wants Ryan there and with her faint recollection of Ryan from her time as a nurse in Houston, she has at least been able to give the PI somewhere to start looking. Ryan has taken more than a little detective work to find but when Nikki approaches him at the bar one night, she is walking herself into a whole heap of trouble because the delicious Ryan West is an undercover narcotics officer and she has just blown his cover! Ryan has years invested in this sting operation – but that has little interest now, he know she has to get out of town and he’s taking Nikki with him! Heading to the one place that eh always felt safe- Fairfax, Ryan is welcomed back into the family fold with open arms and the relationship with his travel companion is never questioned. Maybe this family just have a way of finding their perfect partners that they should patent and sell on to others, because Ryan and Nikki as like two peas in a pod and falling for each other was never in doubt. The trepidation in this story is more intense, this pair genuinely have a bad guy and his minions after them, so laying low is their only option but when the stakes get too high, Nikki sets of to try to save the day, with Ryan hotfooting it after her, his need to save his woman trumping all his years on the force. I liked the fact that there was no beating bout the bush with Ryan and Nikki, they book knew the score and were happy to go with the flow, two adults willing to accept the company and comfort of another for nothing more than pure want. It was when their feelings begin to develop that the story came to life, Nikki and Ryan were a great couple and much like the other books in the series, their story was enveloped by the rest of the West family. Fairfax is a magical place by all accounts and relationships forged are built to last, good news for Nikki. I have loved the whole series and while I still think my favourite was book one Loving Lauren, I would have to say that the backstory between Nikki and Ryan means that this one runs in, in a very close second favourite
Ryan West had not been seen or heard from since the day that he disappeared from his father’s ranch. His twin brother Reece had looked and wondered for years what had happened to him but it wasn’t until his fiancé Melissa suggested that he hire a private investigator that he finally found him. It had been years since Melissa had seen him at a hospital with bullets in his stomach but it did give them a place to start.
Nikki Dawson was a PI working for her dad and she begged to be able to cover something that wasn’t about cheating spouses or some other low scale job. Her first missing person case had her looking for Ryan, only problem was that the only lead she had was years old. She couldn’t believe her luck when she found him but she had no idea what she was getting into. He was an undercover narcotics agent and she had just blown his cover, now both of their lives were in danger and they had no other option but to run, hide out and trust her dad and Ryan’s boss to help them out. Ryan couldn’t think of a better place to hide than on Saddleback Ranch.
Ryan has been a mystery since we first met Reece in Missy’s story. The missing half of Reece’s past that he had long since given up hope of ever finding. This book was full of mystery and suspense as you wondered how long it would take for them to be found. It’s another beautifully written sweet romance by Jill Sanders that focuses on small town life, families, and lots of lots of love. Another great addition to a great series, I can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for us next.
Nikki Dawson a PI that was hired by Melissa Holton and Reece West to find the latter's twin brother Ryan West.
Nikki found Ryan and in doing so, she jeopardized years of undercover work.....they found themselves having to hide out on Ryan's cousins' ranch, Saddleback Ranch in Fairplay until it was safe for them to leave.
There was an attraction between Ryan and Nikki but the latter kept on fighting it cause in her head she was saying that Ryan was her type eventually Nikki couldn't deny it anymore and she fell in love with Ryan and vice versa.
Nice twist having Ryan and Reece's father being the one that separated them years ago.....shame on him....The reunion between Ryan and his loved ones was an emotional one, loved how Reece just hugged Ryan letting him know that he was loved no matter what happened.
A fabulous read, it had action, romance, tearjerker moments and wonderful surprises..... Jill Sanders did a magnificent job.
Nikki is a private investigator that had been hired by Melissa and her fiancee Reece to find his twin brother Ryan that he hasn't seen since he left home several years earlier. Ryan is an undercover narcotics agent that has been on a case to take down a major drug Lord for the past three years. Things do not go as planned when Nikki approaches Ryan and she finds herself in for the ride of her life.
I have really enjoyed this series but I must say that this has been my favorite story of all of them. You could feel the chemistry between Ryan and Nikki from the first time their eyes meet. It was great to see all of the West family get together for Reece and Missy's wedding.

This is another great book in the West series from Jill Sanders.
Nikki is a PI asked to look for Ryan West. What she discovers is not what she was looking for.
Ryan has been undercover and now his cover is blown. Nikki has brought him back to his family but he knows that everything is not fine until he finishes what he started.
once everything is taken care of he finds himself falling for Nikki.
I was given a copy of the book in exchange for a honest review.
Loved this book -- Ryan left home years ago to get away from his abusive father. He also left his twin brother behind. Years later his twin is getting married and wants to find his brother. He and his fiance hire a private detective who not only finds Ryan but they find love. Turns out Ryan was an undercover narcotics cop for years and being followed by a private investigator blew his cover. He had no choice but go back home! Great story of reconnection and love
Complimentary copy provided by author for an honest review.
Great story again about the West Family, this one has everything suspense, love and family. When I read this story I can see the characters in my mind and you can feel the love for each other when you reading it.
A must to read story!!! Can't wait for the story of Lauren !!
Great book!, LOVED it! Roping Ryan was a perfect blend of romance, suspense, and family love. Jill Sanders is a great writer and story teller. She gets you hooked in a story from page one, and keeps you there til the conclusion.
each book in this series, is just as good as the next... Each alpha male you fall in love with.. Ryan is no different... Nikki is a PI, sent to find Reece's twin brother... Once she finds him, the trouble starts... Ryan does everything in his power to keep her safe!!!
Really enjoyed getting Ryan and Nikkis story, both are strong, funny and sweet, there was a bit of action to shake things up to, which was great. Looking forward to the next book in the series
this is a great story of love and compassion. the family dynamics are amazing. I love everything about the west series. the way the family is so forgiving, it shows what unconditional love is.
Ryan West hasn't been around since just after high school. He couldn't wait to get away from his father. He found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, and nearly in deep trouble, but it changed to being the turning point of his life.
Nikki was looking for Ryan, who had been proving difficult to track down. She had been hired by Ryan's family to find him. Reece wanted his twin brother at his wedding.
What Nikki didn't realise was that Ryan wasn't quite what she thought he was and they both end up hiding at his cousin's ranch. A completely different life was shown to both of them.
Lovely sweet story of returning home and realising what Ryan has missed. Family, love and drama all rolled into one.
This story has a couple of TSTL moments, a overly controlling H and a seriously obnoxious and do-first, question later h. At times, both MCs acted like 15 year old kids which drives me crazy. The story itself is different than others in the series which is refreshing. Definitely worth a read.
Brief Summary: No need to expand on the author's summary.
The love story of Ryan and Nikki. Ryan is a undercover narcotic cop. Nikki is a Private Investigator. She was ask to find Ryan by his twin brother Reece. When she find him it uncover him, now he and Nikki are on the run. Where to but Fairplay. Can they find safety? Great story.
This books just suck you in and you can't stop reading them! The only thing I would change would be that we didn't get to see more of the drug lord story. I get the point is to fall in love with the city and that family and each other but a little more excitement would have been good
The fact that I continue to read books by Jill should say it all ! Another wonderful series by Jill ! I love the way Jill brings family and small towns together. I have read several other series by this same author and can't say enough good things.

Love this series. Most characters from previous books 📚 in the series are carried over into each book. In this one, the hero and heroine are in danger, so they flee to his family. And the sparks fly. Lots of hot sex, humor, danger, and falling in love. Highly recommend.
Another wonderful series by Jill ! I love the way Jill brings family and small towns together. I have read several other series by this same author and can't say enough good things. Beautifully written !
Roping Ryan was a little bit different from the other West books, as it starts out in a big city and with drama and suspense. But very quickly it becomes a lot of what you expect from this series: a lot of sex, a bit of insta-love, and small town goodness.
I struggled with Ryan. I wanted to like him, I really did, but he was bossy and controlling in a lot of ways that made me uncomfortable. That Nikki just went along with his “I'm the boss, don't ask questions” made me not really like her, either. Although they had a lot of sex, unlike the other couples in this series, these two never seemed to really have a connection. If there was any real connection made between them, it must have been done off screen.
I did like what there was of the story. The way they met had me chuckling despite the seriousness, and the story line of Hijo el Diablo and her father was really great. That said, I wish there had been more substance to this specific book. Although I do love a good sex scene, they got old fast. I wish that this one had been more about the *story* - about Ryan and Nikki bonding outside of the bedroom - than about their sexual adventures because I was left wanting more.
Another great read from Jill. Ryan and Nikki are thrown together into abnormal circumstances as she tracks him down in Houston for his brother Reese and stumbles into what she thinks is a robbery but it’s far more dangerous than that. So as they end up hiding out in Ryan's cousin Saddleback ranch miles away they in each other’s arms so as a new attraction and relationship begins they have to come up of a way to catch the people who are looking to kill them and set themselves free to live their lives. Loved this story can’t wait to read more from this series
YES! Ryan is HOT and this story is so perfect it makes me blush. I love this whole series but I ADORE this book. I needed this story and am so glad that Jill delivered it PERFECTLY! As always. Read...right now.. that is all
I really enjoyed this installment of the West series. This includes everything I am looking for in a good book. It is well written, action packed, and full of romance too.
I normally love JS books. Her romances have a perfect blend of sweetness and raw emotion. This added a dash of suspense that made this one of my favorite JS yet.
Another great book in the West series. Two more characters and both totally different from all the others. A bit more suspense and action than some of the others. Totally enjoyable.
