This was a book that touches on the ancient forerunners of the southern regions of pre-Spanish Mexico - the Olmecs. In particular, we witness the rise of a wise woman, Spirits walking Woman and her role in the early years of the Mexican empires. She is part seer and medicine woman with a strong ability to communicate with the other world. We see that she has an impact on the future of Mexico but she must survive, first. This was enjoyable and I learned more about the Olmecs and their beliefs but it lacked depth.

Complete and utter garbage, especially the Jesus-quoting towards the end is an utter lowpoint. Stay away at all costs!
