Ken Loach won the PALME D'OR at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival
for his film The Wind That Shakes the Barley, & rightly so.
If you haven't seen this film yet, then stop reading & go right out & buy the dvd NOW! you will not regret it.
This book was published in 2002 & therefore only covers his films up to the Navigators. That being said, it's still a great study of his work. The world needs more social filmmakers like Loach, & more books like this.
