Stolen Innocence: Omega Chi Kappa Book One

Rate this book
Everyone thinks they know Mara Black.

Political royalty. The perfect girl with the perfect smile who never puts a foot wrong.

What they don't know. . .The Syndicate owns my father. And now? They want to own me too.

Then I meet Omega Chi Kappa's ruling

Dredyn Steele sees the rage I hide under compliance.

Talon Reed sees the hunger I pretend doesn't exist.

Jasper Thorn sees everything I don't say out loud.

They make me want things I'm not supposed to want. They make me feel things I'm supposed to ignore. They make me realize that the life I've been living isn't a life at all—it's a performance.

But the Syndicate doesn't tolerate rebellion.

Stolen Innocence is a dark why-choose romance with political intrigue, morally gray men, and a heroine who's done playing nice. Book 1 of the Omega Chi Kappa duet. Ends on a cliffhanger.

ARC Read!

I was excited to get this ARC with being on KT’s ARC team. This is the 3rd book in the series and I was told that I did not have to read the first 2 books to read this one. This book started out really slow for me, I did not find it exciting, and honestly was a little boring to me, up until like 60-70%. I didn’t really care for the characters. You have a virgin fmc- Mara, who is the daughter of a politician who is running for president. She has to always be on her best behavior and does everything that her father tells her to do. She wasn’t anything special for me and I think she needs to get more of a back bone. Then you have the 3 MMC’s, which again, I didn’t care for any of them. Maybe if anythingggg Talon or Jasper, but Dredyn( I can’t even remember how it’s spelled) he was an a**hole in my opinion from the very beginning. And I honestly don’t know why they were all so obsessed with her, because she’s pretty and a virgin? Idk she wasn’t anything to rave about.

Again, to me the book got interesting 60-70% through, the spicy scenes were definitely spicing since KT writes some GREAT spice! But I’m hoping that I like the next book better since this one ended on a cliff hanger.

Thank you for this ARC, but it’s a maybe for me.

I feel like i went on a roller coaster of liking and disliking this all at the same time. I will say that there were some inconsistent and other little problems which was part of the reason i disliked it at times... HOWEVER this was becuase I received an arc version. I loved the characters Mara (fmc) is strong, independent, and wanting to break free from her controlling families clutches I loved her progression and thought she was an absolute baddie. Dreydn, Talon, and Jasper our mmcs i feel like we didn't get a whole lot of their backgrounds in this (Im sure we'll get more in the second book) but each of them brought something different Dreydn was equally infuriating and likeable (the cat cmon 😫), Jasper sweet but violent our quiet killer, and talon well is talon 🤣. Currently lowkey hate Milo (Mara's twin brother) and fucking love Zane her bff dude is so funny! Definitely recommend reading! 🫶

Favorite Quote:
"Get up on this table and spread those legs so I can see that sweet little c*nt you've been hiding from me." - Dredyn 🖤

The cliffhanger of this one..!! 😭😭
This book was sooo amazing and I can't wait to read the next one 😍
I actually have a hard time deciding which of the boys are my favorite, but mostly it's Jasper!😅😏

I always have a system for my ARC's, how many pages to read a day etc to be able to get the review done in time but this one totally blew my schedule because I just couldn't put it down!🤣
I absolutely recommend this book and I will definitely also read the two before this one, AFTER I read the next one in this series 😍

I love the reverse harem element, the bullying, the enemies to lovers. It has everything that I want from this kind of book and it's very well written, everything goes together perfectly!👏💋

I'm so grateful to have had the chance of being an ARC-reader for this one ❤️

Stolen Innocence by K.T. Maddan
Book 3 of the, Ashen Grove University Series.

Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice - 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I plunged headfirst into this sizzling Enemies to Lovers, Why Choose, Spicy Romance, completely filled with twists that kept me guessing - and utterly hooked!

Mara Black is the perfect pawn for her father and The Syndicate's political campaign. A Doll that is poised and charismatic.

Mara, the campus princess, has caught Dredyn's attention after a chance encounter, and his growing obsession is slowly driving him to the edge, also drawing the attention of the rest of the Sinful Trinity, Talon and Jasper.

I was utterly captivated by the intense chemistry and strong desire shared by Dredyn, Talon, and Jasper to cater to Mara's every need, each in their own uniquely possessive way. Also witnessing Mara's inner turmoil as she grapples with her desires and the unwanted union that's being forced upon her.

Mara - “I wear so many masks that I’ve lost track of what my real face looks like.”

Will she choose to be caged or to rebel in the chaos?

I eagerly anticipate continuing with Bitter Reign!!

I would like to thank K.T. Kaddan for this fantastic opportunity. I received this advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

I have to say I devoured this book. I love the enemies to lovers this book has, how it’s a I can’t help but fall for them even tho I shouldn’t. I can’t decide which of the boys is my favorite, so I pick all of them. Mara is caught up in her father’s games and is trying to find her own path. The spice was delicious. I’m not usually a fan of the virgin trope but honestly I loved how this one was written and it made more sense to me when she did lose her v card. The humiliation mixed with love really did it for me and who doesn’t love a possessive protective man? And she’s got 3. I love the side of Jasper that no one else gets to see besides Mara, how he unfolds for her. Talon has that playboy but loving Dom thing going for him that I can’t get enough of. Dredyn is that hard shell Dom that once you have him will burn the world and is utterly obsessed but gives you that harsh love you never knew you needed or wanted. I’m so excited to see the next part of their story 😍

Story 5/5 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice 4/5 - ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

If you are looking for a hot under the collar, obsessive and dark romance story, then this is the book for you.

🖤Virgin FMC - Mara.
💙3 MMCs - Dredyn, Jasper and Talon.
🖤Spice,
💙Enemies to lovers,
🖤V card trope - written with the upmost style and perfection in my opinion.
💙Possessive and protective males,
🖤Intense chemistry ,
💙Strong desires.

About :
Mara is the daughter of a politician who is running for president. She is shaped into the Miss Prim and Proper type by her father and the syndicate, so they can use her for their own agenda.

Characters:
Mara is the miss prim and proper and very meek. I hope to see her with a bit more backbone in future books. I really loved how she was written and fits the story amazingly. Mara gets used by her father and the syndicate to push an agenda. She does not get a chance to be herself or have her own thoughts and feelings. She has to do what her father and the syndicate say.
It is prim and proper nature that catches Dredyn’s attention and gets his obsessive juices flowing. It is only after Dredyn starts with his obsession that the others (Jasper and Talon) start to notice and want a piece of Mara too.

Dredyn is my all time favourite in the book. He appears to be the real character with the worst morals and ethics but i cannot help but love him. He has the darkest and most obsessive traits but I also know that he would take out anyone and burn the world to the ground for Mara. I love this the most about him.

Talon: is perfect specimen for the playboy type. After Dredyn it was his obsessive streak that got me panting and hot under the collar.

Jasper and Mara seem to have the nicest relationship of the 3. He shows her a gentler side of himself that no one else gets to see. It’s a sweeter part of the story.

This is a Dark Romance, political, obsessive and hot under the collar amazing. K.T Maddan has delivered some epic spice wrapped in a fun, dark romance and sizzling story.

Thank you K. T. Maddan for the privilege of being an arc reader for this story. I am over the moon with what you wrote.

Thank you so much for the opportunity for this ARC read!

You had me at Reverse Harem, Academia, and Secret Society.

Fraternity brothers of an elite school-
Dredyn had his posessive sights set almost immediately on our good girl FMC Mara. He took a bit to unravel I feel, not in a bad way.
Talon, being the competitive flirt that he is, jumped in, then my precious Jasper.
Something about a silent broody type... chef's kiss.

Mara began to fight back against everything that is expected and laid out for her, regardless of the consequences... and took things jnto her own hands. Now that's strength.

Once we got to about 80% in, it was full steam ahead, then I was sad I didn't already have book 2 in my hands!
Only going 4 stars rather than 5 because I wanted more of a dramatic end (Can't believe I'm asking foe a bigger cliffhanger)
Cannot wait for Bitter Reign!

Thank you KT Maddan for the advanced e-copy of this story!

I loved the first book in this series. It was a great dark academia romance. For some reason I missed book 2 but since they are marketed as stand-alone novels, I thought I’d have no issues with this being book 3. However, this one did not hit for me. It felt like there was something missing in the connection between Dredyn and Mara. He was a royal asshole and I never got past that - he didn’t grow on me like a lot of other villainous characters tend to do. I didn’t quite understand why the others guys were also obsessed with her - it wasn’t really fleshed out and I wasn’t sold on their so-called obsession - she was an annoying FMC and her only “appeal” was she was the virgin upcoming president’s daughter? She was a privileged diva and got on my nerves tbh. Sorry I didn’t like this one, I was soo looking forward to it too.

This isn't just dark romance, it’s a rebellion. Watching Mara realize her life has been a performance while the Syndicate closes in was breathtaking. The tension between her and the Omega Chi Kappa trio is magnetic, toxic, and absolutely addictive. It is one of the best books I’ve read in a long time and I highly recommend checking it out!! The feels you’ll feel from this story are just 👩‍🍳💋

Warning: This is Book 1 of a duet and ends on a MASSIVE cliffhanger. Prepare your heart (and your bookshelf) accordingly!

I was so ready for OKC's story from Ashen Grove. Dredyn, Talon and Jasper were obsessed with good girl Mara. Even though she belonged to PTO. Mara was tired of being a pawn in her family and her dad's run for president. She wasn't the good girl they demanded of her. The OCK boys showed her her darker side and loved every moment of it. All three are protective but soft just for her. Mara comes out of her shell and decides to rebel against her family.

Mind blown!

I can’t wait for the second book in this duet because the first one just took me for a ride! Mara is the daughter of a senator who’s put be president so she’s considered America’s princess. Just one issue, she doesn’t feel like it and doesn’t want it.

Then she meets these 3 OCK boys and her world is about to be thrown upside down!

Ends with a cliffhanger so be warned

Stolen Innocence was an amazing read!! It was funny, there was a little bit of suspense and mystery and lots of spice!!

I loved all 3 MMCs in different ways. Jasper is the sweet, silent one. Dreyden is the strong, possessive alpha-hole, and Talon is the cocky, charming fake boyfriend.

Mara is such a fun FMC. She pretends to be Daddy's perfect little princess, but we know deep down she wants to be the rebellious "good girl" to the OCK boys!!

I can't wait to see what happens with Mara and the Boys in the next book.

This book pulled me in right away with a heroine who is suffocating under the weight of perfection. Mara Black is the kind of girl the world believes has it all together. She comes from power, carries herself with grace, and has been trained her whole life to be exactly what everyone expects. But underneath that polished exterior is someone who is exhausted from being controlled and forced into a life that feels more like a performance than something she actually chose. Watching that frustration slowly crack through her perfect image is what hooked me from the beginning.

Mara is done being treated like a pawn by the powerful people around her, and that quiet rebellion building inside her made me love her instantly. So many women understand the pressure to be perfect, to smile when they want to scream, and to follow rules they never agreed to. Seeing Mara reach that breaking point felt powerful and satisfying.
Then the story really takes off when the three men from Omega Chi Kappa enter her world.
Each of them sees a different side of her that no one else seems to notice. They see the anger she keeps buried, the desires she has been forced to hide, and the truth behind the mask she has been wearing for years. Instead of expecting perfection from her, they challenge it, and that dynamic between the four of them adds so much tension and heat to the story.

Out of the three MCs I have to say I fell the hardest for Talon. I was rooting for all of them in different ways, but Talon just had something extra that made every scene with him addictive. His personality jumps off the page and the chemistry he brings to the story is delicious. I also loved the bi vibes he gives off because it adds another layer of intrigue to his character that made him even more interesting to read.

Jasper absolutely broke my heart. The pain surrounding his sister runs so deep and you can feel how much revenge is burning inside him. I know that moment is coming eventually, and I will be cheering for it when it does. But with how this book ends, it is clear that the road to that moment is going to be brutal and complicated.

Dredyn is the one I am watching carefully moving forward. He has the strength and presence to protect Mara, but his anger could either make him a powerful ally or a dangerous problem. I really hope he learns to think before reacting because the enemies surrounding Mara and her family are not the kind you defeat by charging in blindly.

Another piece of the story that keeps pulling at my curiosity is Mara’s brother. There is a question lingering about whether he will ultimately be the one who helps save her or if he has already been pulled too far into the darkness surrounding their family. That uncertainty adds another layer of tension that I cannot wait to see unfold.

The writing in this book was rich with detail and the world building made everything feel vivid and immersive. I love when a story plays out like a movie in my mind and this one absolutely did that. The emotional tension, the dangerous power dynamics, and the chemistry between the characters all kept me completely invested.

And that ending. Wow.

The cliffhanger leaves so many questions hanging in the air, and it is clear that the real battles are only just beginning. With the kind of power Mara’s family holds and the forces working behind the scenes, I know the next book is going to bring even more chaos, danger, and emotional turmoil.

This was a deliciously detailed dark romance with morally gray men, complicated loyalties, and a heroine who is finally ready to stop playing the role everyone forced on her. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Mara Black is the kind of heroine who feels trapped by her family’s power and the public image she’s forced to uphold. From the very first rally, we see her sharp intelligence and rebellious streak, constantly pushing back against her father’s political machine and her mother’s suffocating expectations. Mara isn’t just a “golden girl”; she’s layered, sharp-tongued, and fiercely independent, making her one of the most compelling dark romance leads I’ve read.
The story is electrified by Dredyn, the dangerous, possessive alpha whose obsession with Mara is as intoxicating as it is frightening. His dominance is terrifying and alluring, and Maddan captures that raw, obsessive energy perfectly. Every interaction between Mara and Dredyn crackles with tension — a blend of fear, desire, and power struggle that had me holding my breath more than once. He’s the type of MMC who dominates every scene he’s in, yet you can’t help rooting for his moments of vulnerability toward Mara.
Then there’s Talon, the teasing, confident counterpart. Talon sees Mara differently; he’s perceptive, playful, and knows exactly how to get under her skin without ever being cruel. His scenes with Mara are full of subtle tension, flirtation, and intellectual sparring. He’s the kind of MMC who balances the raw heat of Dredyn with sly charm, making the love triangle feel dynamic and unpredictable.
And finally, Jasper — the quiet, nerdy, and sweet MMC. He’s more reserved, the calm to the chaos Mara experiences with the other two. Their tutoring scenes are so grounded and intimate; Maddan captures the small gestures, the slow burn of Mara noticing his dimples, tattoos, and mannerisms. Jasper brings a softer, more innocent heat to the story, and his presence deepens Mara’s world, showing her there’s more than one way to connect with someone in a world dominated by power and obsession.
Maddan excels at writing characters who are multidimensional and morally complex. The interplay between Mara, Dredyn, Talon, and Jasper is intense, addictive, and emotionally charged. The book balances high-stakes drama, political intrigue, dark obsession, and steamy romance seamlessly. Every chapter had me glued to the page, rooting for Mara to assert control while navigating the dangers of her own attraction and the expectations of her family and society.

Why you’ll love it: Stolen Innocence is a masterclass in dark romance with a strong heroine, three unforgettable MMCs, and a tension-filled love triangle that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Maddan doesn’t shy away from possessive, alpha energy, but also delivers layers of character depth and emotional nuance that make this story impossible to forget.

Final Thoughts
Stolen Innocence is dark, intense, and layered with danger. It thrives on control, obsession, and high-stakes tension. If you like morally gray men who operate like a unit and a heroine who learns how to survive inside a power game, this one hits.
It feels like the beginning of something bigger.
And when the war fully breaks loose?
It’s going to be brutal.

I didn’t even have to think twice about my five-star rating for this book. I love dark romances shrouded in the mystery and betrayals of a secret society operating behind the shadows. This enemies to lovers story delivers exactly that, I absolutely devoured this book and am suffering from a bit of a book hangover!

Mara Black is the perfect little princess, at least that’s the mask she wears for the world. However, she has not been happy playing this role for a long time and when she can’t take it anymore, she develops a plan she hopes will free her from her gilded cage.

I appreciate Mara’s character because while this is a common FMC for a story like this, I saw more depth and even conflict within Mara. She does not like the world she belongs to, but she finds it difficult for her to leave the environment and existence she has been conditioned for. Her desire for freedom and decision to break free develops more over time, until a breaking point is reached and a very conscious decision is made by her.

Enter the Trinity of Sin…Jasper, Talon, and Dredyn. These men are dangerous and do not falter when it comes to what they want, and the role they were also born to play in this world. While they belong to the same society, these men are on the outside, they operate in the shadows of the chosen and do their dirty work. Mara may have a plan to use these rivals for her own goal, but little does she know they have already decided she belongs to them.

I enjoy the way the enemies to lovers’ storyline is developed in this book. While they are enemies, and their families dislike each other, they are not rivals in an opposing organization. They belong to the same organization and while they may be disliked, the people in power would not be there if it wasn’t for the darker side. I also love that these men know this and that is one place so much of their arrogance stems from.

This story kept me on the edge of my seat. Both with the plot and the twists that started to unfold, as well as, with the dynamics of the relationship between Mara and these three men. The spicy scenes are absolute top notch and did not disappoint!

The way I read through this book I completely lost track of time! I could not read fast enough, this book is well written, and my attention never strayed. The fact that this is the first book in a duet means that yes there is in fact a cliffhanger and yes, I am hanging on for dear life waiting for what comes next. I recommend this book for the why choose, dark romance, college, and secret society lovers. I absolutely love it!

Stolen Innocence by K.T. Madden

Book 3 of the Ashen Grove University series

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

“To the girls who were told to be good. This one’s for your rebellion.”

And honestly? That dedication sets the tone perfectly.
I dove headfirst into Stolen Innocence, and it delivered everything I crave in an enemies-to-lovers, why choose, spicy romance — tension, obsession, power plays, and twists that kept me glued to the pages.

Mara Black is the Syndicate’s perfectly crafted pawn: poised, intelligent, and groomed for political use whether she wants it or not. She’s the campus princess on the surface — a rule-following, nerdy TA who wants nothing to do with AGU’s hierarchy — yet there’s a quiet defiance simmering beneath her goodie-two-shoes exterior.

Enter the Sinful Trinity.

Dredyn is abrasive, violent, rude, and honestly kind of awful at first — the type of macho menace you know you shouldn’t like. And yet… watching Mara snap back at him with

“You’re nothing but a violent, insecure little boy, throwing tantrums because the world doesn’t cater to your every whim,” was deeply satisfying.

Also, Dredyn buying a goat to terrorize the school? I was DONE. Completely took me out.

But somewhere between the literal fighting-for-her and the way he knows exactly what he wants, I found myself thinking… okay, I get it now. Who doesn’t love a man who would burn the world down for you? The man calls her Hellcat, and honestly? It fits.

Jasper, on the other hand, is the quiet comfort — the more likable, teddy-bear energy that sneaks up on you. He balances the chaos in a way that feels grounding and genuine.

And then there’s Talon: polished, charming, controlled… and dangerous in the calmest way. His line

“Careful, princess. I don’t wear leashes; I wrap them around pretty little necks.”lives rent-free in my head. He calls her Princess, and somehow it works just as well as Hellcat does coming from Dredyn.

What really hooked me was the intense chemistry and the different ways Dredyn, Talon, and Jasper each crave Mara — protective, possessive, obsessive — while she struggles with her desires and the unwanted future being forced upon her. Watching her inner turmoil unfold alongside the growing obsession of the Trinity made this impossible to put down.

Stolen Innocence is bold, twisted, spicy, and addictive — a story about rebellion, control, and a woman learning she doesn’t have to stay “good” to survive.
If you love morally gray men, sharp-tongued heroines, and tension that crackles on every page, this one absolutely delivers. 🔥📖

Oh my lawd! How I will always be seated front row for anything Asher Grove related because every time, I am pulled into this world of spicy why chooses and forget life exists outside the pages. Now, you don't need to read any prior AGU books to understand the plot at all. You just have similarities that'll make you want to read them all afterwards. But anyways, this book stole my attention from the start and wouldn't let up until I came to the end. Which isn't really an ending, but a cliffhanger that'll make you even more invested. Madden DELIVERS everything in Stolen Innocence from riveting plot, character structure and development, chemistry building, and provocative scenes to combine them into a work of spicy art.

*spoilers*

Mara Black is the daughter of the soon-to-be next President of the United States. She attends Asher Grove University as a subject to showcase her family. She is forced to look a certain way. Act a certain way. Even marry a certain way: by her father making that decision for her. But she is tired of pretending to be someone she's not.

That's when she decides to really make her parents angry by consoling in Talon, one of the Trinity of Sin, who have absorbed their lives around her. See, they're part of a rival fraternity who would give her father the wrong image and he can't have that. Especially not with elections approaching very soon.

The more Mara rebels against her families wishes, the more they deem more punishment onto her. And the only way Talon, Dredyn, and Jasper can even think to help free her from the cage they keep her in is to uncover the secrets of Jasper’s sisters death.

**This book will tug at your heart strings the deeper you dive into the relationship the boys share with their Mara. It takes a bit for the spice to kick in but the wait was well worth it because those moments are so intimate between the characters. The way they are further connected by sharing her between them all was hot and heavy. I was fully invested and I can't wait to look further for the second part. So many questions and solutions I need answers for!! And a happy ending for Mara and her boys.

Ohhh I inhaled this book. From the first chapter, it had me in a chokehold and never let go.

This story delivers that addictive kind of tension where attraction feels wrong, dangerous, and completely unavoidable. The kind where you’re yelling *don’t do it* while secretly begging them to do it anyway. The why-choose dynamic? Absolute perfection. Picking a favorite felt impossible—each of the men brings something so different to the table that I happily claimed all three.

Mara’s journey really got to me. She’s been shaped, displayed, and maneuvered as a tool in her father’s power plays, yet beneath all that polish is a woman desperate to claim ownership of her own life. Watching her wrestle with duty, desire, and rebellion added so much emotional weight to the heat.

And let’s talk about that heat—because wow. The intimacy was bold, intense, and layered with emotion. I don’t usually gravitate toward the innocence trope, but the way it unfolded here felt purposeful and earned. When she finally crosses that line, it’s messy, vulnerable, and charged with a mix of control, surrender, and connection that completely worked for me.

Each of the men had me weak in different ways. Jasper’s quiet, guarded side slowly cracking open just for Mara? Swoon. Talon’s flirtatious confidence paired with his commanding, attentive nature was dangerously appealing. And Dredyn—cold, ruthless, and relentless—loves in a way that feels brutal, consuming, and utterly obsessive. Once he’s claimed you, there’s no escaping the intensity… and honestly, why would you want to?

What really hooked me was the emotional push and pull: the obsession, the protectiveness, the power struggles, and Mara’s constant fight between submission and defiance. Every interaction felt loaded with meaning and tension.

By the final page, I was left buzzing with questions and anticipation. I am beyond ready to dive back into this world and see how Mara’s story unfolds next. Bitter Reign cannot come fast enough. 🔥📖

Definitely dark, this college romance is high on action, drama, political intrigue, steam, and over the top obsession. I am a sucker for a really good Bully College (or as I call them: ‘Bullege’) Romance—K.T. Maddan has woven together a ‘Bullege’ romance that is wildly entertaining, while retaining the desired dark status. Mara and Jasper are very likable characters, and try as they might to the contrary, Talon and Dredyn have snuggled under my skin quite comfortably, as well—especially once the further along I read. I realized my shoulders and stomach were pulled super tight when I finished the book, and had to really be mindful to make sure I stretched those muscles proper—the suspense was super immersive. Loved it.

Everyone thinks of Mara as the perfect political 'princess' whose father is running for president. What they don't know is that The Syndicate owns her father, and they are ready for her to be their next victim. She ends up meeting the Omega Chi Kappa and three guys who embed themselves into her life, realizing that her life is not what she believed. Her father is forcing her to marry Chase, who will further his political career but the guys have other plans.

Each of the three MMCs has a distinct personality, so I didn't feel lost about who the author was referring to, but they are all dominant, unhinged, controlling alphas obsessed with Mara. She's been trained to be the daughter her parents needed her to be, compliant and dutiful. But she isn't willing to be that person anymore and is not willing to back down. The passion in this RH was high, and the spice was delicious!

The book has lots of secrets and mysteries that I am eagerly waiting to figure out in the next book.

I did find the book took a while to get into, so it was more of a medium burn with a slower story, but once it kicked in, I couldn't put it down.

This book was not what I expected. The title and trigger warnings list made it seem like it was going to be DARK AF with twisted kinks and somewhat along the lines of Ritual. It felt more like a naive young woman (21) trapped in a controlled yet privileged lifestyle, using the three bad boys to break her mold, and the hold her entire family has on her. In doing so, she explores her sexual kinks (slow burn! To spice) and how far she would go to be happy. But for me, it was just so/so.

The darkness mostly exists in the background, and there’s definitely a lot of possession, stocking, touch her and die vibes. The three MC‘s were all very different. I really loved Jasper. They’ve all grown up in this terrible world, and even though they would all do terrible things, they’re all really OK people. For her they’re all thoughtful and loving.

The FMC was kind of cringe for me. She seemed so naive and like she didn’t have the foresight to make good decisions and get out of a predicament she was in. I did not understand the scene that she chose to stick it to her parents. It just seemed so childish - like I could not relate to making that choice. If i was as educated as her i would be making different choices - i would be seriously plotting and planning and being stragic. She didn’t seem to character arc as much as get a sexual education on a RH (which was nicely done and yummy).

The plot was OK, but it wasn’t as flushed out as it could have been, and it didn’t seem to get ‘intense’ until later in the book. And there were some inconsistencies and holes in the storylines.

I think it’s hard to write a whY choose book at 300 pages and also actually get to know everybody with having a good plot, engagement and all that. I think if you upped this to 350/400 pages and really got into the plot and connected all the scenes this would be a great book.

Stolen Innocence is not interested in consent wrapped in comfort or power softened by morality. This book thrives in corruption — institutional, emotional, and deeply personal — and it knows exactly what it’s doing with that darkness.

From the first page, the story establishes an imbalance that never pretends to be accidental. Power is inherited, enforced, and weaponized. Innocence is not gently lost — it’s taken, reshaped, and used as leverage in a world built on secrecy and control. The setting itself feels complicit, as though the walls of Omega Chi Kappa are watching, approving, waiting.

What makes this book intoxicating is its refusal to moralize. The reverse harem dynamic isn’t presented as safety or salvation — it’s presented as possession, strategy, and survival. The men are not heroes. They are predators in tailored masks, fully aware of the systems that protect them and the damage they’re allowed to cause within them.

And the FMC? She is not fragile. She is observant, adaptable, and learning quickly how power really works. Watching her innocence erode isn’t tragic — it’s inevitable. This is a story about corruption as transformation, not destruction.

The writing leans unapologetically into taboo: fake relationships that rot into something darker, secret societies that thrive on silence, and a kink-laced power structure that never asks for permission. Every chapter tightens the psychological grip, making it impossible to look away even when you know you should.

Final verdict:
Stolen Innocence is seductive, ruthless, and intentionally uncomfortable. A dark romance for readers who crave villain-coded men, morally gray heroines, and stories that understand innocence isn’t precious — it’s currency.

ARC Disclosure: I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own — unapologetically so.

How would you feel about being kissed senseless by not one, not two, but three men? 🫠🥵😩 I’m always here for a why choose dark academia, but this one didn’t quite deliver on the darkness the marketing promised. Mara is the picture-perfect daddy’s doll, soon to become the daughter of the President of the USA, yet I couldn’t connect with her at all. She insists she’s strong, but over and over again her actions prove otherwise… like, where is your spine, honey?? It was frustrating watching her circle back to the same demons while the whole purity angle dragged on for far too long.

Now let’s talk about the three hunks because they carried this for me. We’ve got Dredyn, the rival fraternity leader and total enforcer energy. I call him the bull 🐂 because he’s easily the most unhinged of the trio. Then there’s Talon, the redhead who gives off golden retriever vibes, but underneath? Not so sweet at all. And finally, my favorite, Jasper, the blue-eyed blond who chooses to be nonverbal. This isn’t disability rep, ladies, just a character choice. He was the most grounded and sensible of them all, and I genuinely appreciated how he treated Mara like a person and reminded the others she wasn’t an object.

There were moments that made me absolutely crackle, but a lot of the narration focused on things happening behind the scenes, which dulled the impact for me. Between Mara’s lack of real growth, her constant backtracking, the dragged-out purity theme, and yes… the spice not really kicking in until 73% 🥲 it landed at a 3 ⭐️ read. And don’t even get me started on her twin. What an asshole! 🙄 This one ends on a cliffhanger, so I’m hoping the next installment brings the darkness up a notch and that Katie’s signature spice comes back with a bang!!!

Thank you, Katie, for the ARC opportunity. This is my honest take!

I’ve been to read the second duet ever since I finished the first one and this one left me with loads of questions unanswered and I was shocked at the cliffhanger and left wanting more of them this was an amazing read! Thanks K.T Maddan for an opportunity to enjoy this story it was so much better than the first duet.

Mara, was hilarious and quite funny to me she is one of my favourite female main characters so far written by K.T Maddan I felt like she most certainly didn’t disappoint and this made me laugh and smile while it was so entertaining seeing the chemistry between them all in the sparks they had between each other.

I would say my favourite male main character was Dredyn, as he made me fall in love with him but I was really focused on was how much he and Mara was touch starved just waiting for each other to break at any moment was the best part.

I really liked Jasper and the way he was so communicate with the others and most importantly Mara I felt the way his personality navigated to me emotionally and I feel gripped by his emotions and the way he was so attentive and I’m just wanting more!

Talon, was another reason why I have this give this book 5 stars because his fierceness of being there for his friends at certain times and the one that holds them together I fell in love with him at times when has protective and falling deeper for Mara.

I adored all of them and felt like this was a 5 star read and I felt emotionally gripped to these characters and left me feeling excited and gripping on to see the conclusion to this duet after being hooked on the spice and the connection that was created between them.
