Five Little Roommates #2

Their Little House Tristan

Rate this book
What happens in Little House, stays in Little House.

In theory, I’m graduating this spring, but in theory doesn’t pay tuition, and when my scholarship is canceled at the last minute, I have no choice but to put my education on hold. I pack my bags and move back home, where my parents are not what a person could call understanding about my sexuality. I couldn’t imagine what they’d think if they found out I was little.

I luck out, getting a great job at Chained, one that includes a membership, but when they find out who’s signing my paycheck, my parents give me an quit or move. Thankfully, one of the people at work lets me know about a house share where all the residents are little.

I’m in a place where I can truly be myself for the first time. Sure, things get a tad awkward when one of the other littles kisses me at Chained one night, but the way the hot daddy in the corner is watching us…I think I might need more of his sweet kisses. A whole lot more.

Their Little House Tristan is the second book in the Five Little Roommates series by USA Today bestselling author Della Cain and her bestie Kaytea Kat. Tristan is an M/M/M daddy little romance featuring not one but two littles, the daddy who loves them both, a house full of littles with no daddy in sight, bottles, stuffies, onesies, true love, an adorable dog, the day at Chained that changes everything, chickie nuggies, mischief, and all the fun and sweetness you have come to expect from Della and Kaytea. If you love your daddies sweet, your littles fun, and your HEAs wrapped like a hug, grab Tristan today.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tender, Playful, and Full of Found Family Feels

Their Little House: Tristan is a warm, heartfelt dive into age play romance with an extra dose of found family and emotional healing. Della Cain masterfully balances sweet and spicy, bringing readers into a world where acceptance, love, and trust are at the heart of every page.

Tristan is easy to fall in love with—vulnerable, brave, and yearning for a place where he can be his true self. When life throws him some cruel setbacks, he finds sanctuary not only in the Little House but in the arms of James, the perfect Daddy—firm when needed, endlessly patient, and completely devoted. And let’s not forget Bellamy, whose role in Tristan’s journey brings even more warmth and chemistry to the story.

Whether you’re familiar with the Five Little Roommates series or stepping into this world for the first time, Their Little House: Tristan will leave your heart full and your cheeks smiling.

This was a decent story. James, Tristan, and Bellamy are good together and I really liked their characters (from what we got of them, anyway). The reason for my lower rating is because of how much plot was either missing or rushed to the point that it only lasted like a page or two each. I mean, I love instalove type stories, but there definitely has to be a balance of instalove and not rushing the storyline and I don’t think this story pulled it off.

The first rushing that happened was toward the beginning from Tristan’s POV. Tristan and Bellamy met each other first, before meeting James, and the interaction went from them meeting for the first time to them asking if they wanna play together and then to asking if they wanna go to Chained one day together and thinking about kissing but how it wouldn’t work out because they’re both Little. All this took place in less than 2 pages.

After the chapters of both Littles getting a solo date with James and then the three of them spending the night together for the first time, the next chapter jumped to maybe half a year later and Tristan graduating and them moving in together. There’s no in-between plot and while, sure the story could have been fine without it, the reason it wasn’t is because there is little to no Little time. There were maybe 2-3 scenes and each one was maybe 2 pages if that and incredibly vague.
I personally like to read Little books for the Little scenes and their interaction with each other during them. James wasn’t really part of any of the Little scenes that did take place and the ones that did, like I said before, were all short and vague.
I didn’t really feel like we got to know James as a Daddy other than what is usually typically of one to a Little. We don’t get to see how he plays and handles having two Littles during intimate scenes like that. Every Daddy is different and we don’t really get much of his own Daddy side vs others.

I felt bad for Tristan and how awful his parents are. We definitely got enough plot in that regard. It sucks knowing that there are actual parents out there like that. I’ll never understand people who can treat their kids like Tristan’s parents treat him.

A kind of wish we had gotten a little more on Bellamy’s work, because his work life is impressive and I would have loved to have known more on his family and how he ended up where he did.
Tristan is really the only one we know anything about their family.

Overall, other than the Little scenes being next to practically non-existing, I think the rest of the plot was decent enough. This being a Daddy/Little book though and not really having much of that, I just couldn’t give it anymore than a 3.5 stars. If there had been at least one longer intimate scene, I probably would have given this maybe a 4 or 4.5.

'I’d seen littles kiss before, usually cheek kisses of friendship and even once or twice more, but these two were fire. I held my breath watching them, not jealous as in I didn’t want them to have the love and passion they were clearly expressing for one another, so much as I yearned to be a part of it.'

I loved the first book in this series and the way it was set up, so I was looking forward to book two. I was not disappointed! I loved Tristan, Bellamy, and James. Tristan and Bell were both littles and James a Daddy. I liked the dynamic between them and thought they were a perfect fit- exactly what they needed. I also liked that Tristan and Bell connected first. James saw and longed to be with them. When Tristan and James met a day later they talked and realized there was the potential for the three of them.

I was sad for Tristan initially- he lost his scholarship so he had to put his schooling on pause- even though he would have been months away from graduating. Was forced to go back to live with parents who didn't accept his sexuality and tried to control him. Getting a job at Chained led to a complete change for him and that made me so happy.

I found Bellamy and what he'd accomplished impressive. But something was missing from his life and he was not as close to people as he would like to be; I was sad Bell felt he wasn't good enough. Meeting Tristan was the spark he needed.

“I think I do want to play with that daddy.”
“Same, but also, I-I only want to play with him with you. Like, the two of us together. We’re a package deal.” We were riding the same train of thought.
“That’s absolutely freaking fantastic. We’re like a twofer. A BOGO even,” I teased.
“A bundle deal, if you will.”
“A gift with purchase.” I winked.

Overall a very sweet romance and I loved the way things developed between Tristan and Bell. I just wish James got involved sooner than 65% in. Looking forward to the next book. 4 stars

It is time for another of the very special roommates to find love. But not only one, once again what we open the pages of this book up to is a totally charming, cute, adorable Daddy/Little/Little novella. Della Cain's story is perfect for anyone looking for a light, slightly erotic story, perhaps readers curious about the Daddy/Little dynamic which she captures perfectly, or perhaps the reader looking for a cute romance. It is all these and so much more. It is also friendships, finding friends and partners who understand you and found family within a very special community.

Tristan is about to graduate, he is weeks away when his scholarship is cancelled he has no choice, he has to move home, to his parents. They don't understand his sexuality and have no idea about his kink. He doesn't expect things to go well. They are uncomfortable but manageable until his parents learn that he is working at the club Chained. There is no chance they will understand and Tristan needs to move, again. Fortunately a work friend tells him about a room in a house of littles. Moving in is a both a revelation and life-changing.

Bellamy is a roommate in the house and when Tristan moves in they hit it off immediately. They are drawn to one another, share similar interests, love to play, do puzzles and share meals. They are also falling for one another. A night at Chained puts them on the radar of a Daddy (James) who wasn't sure he was looking for one and certainly not for two Littles but when Tristan and Bellamy are together there is just something he finds irresistible about them. When he discovers that both men not only like him but love his dog too then all bets are off - the deal is sealed! There may be a few little bits to work out along the way but these three are the real deal and the little things that make it all work also make this a story that is unputdownable!

When Tristan returns home after losing his scholarship, he finds work at Chained, saving to move out and into a place where he can be his little self, as soon as possible. When his parents find out where he works, they give him two choices — quit or move out. Luckily, Miss Lily from Chained helps him find a place to live, a house shared by Littles like him.

Bellamy is a little living in the house where Tristan gets a room. The two quickly become friends, and then more. When they meet James, a Daddy interested in getting to know both of them, they can’t help hoping this will be the Daddy to make them a family of three.

Two cute characters looking together for a forever Daddy, a Daddy that didn’t realize he wanted two Littles to love and care for, a meeting at Chained, a golden-doodle to welcome the new Littles, and lots of love to go around. Another sweet, low angst story of Daddies and Littles from the pens of Della Cain and Kaytea Kat, full of love, caring, toys, and lots of together time.

This is book 2 in the Five Little Roommates series. Each book is a standalone read. This is the story of Tristan, Bellamy and James. Tristan has unexpected returned home from college when his scholarship is cancelled without warning. He is staying with his parents while trying to save enough money to move out. His parents don't accept his sexuality and he hides being a little as well. When they learn of his job dishwashing at Chained, he has two choices, quit or move out. Miss Lily at work guides him to a house that is all littles. At his new home he meets Bellamy; a fellow little. Bellamy is a lawyer who doesn't feel like he ever really belongs. But he and Tristan hit it off. Fast friends, each unexpectedly wants more from the other. Then they see James at Collared. He is a daddy and is intrigued by the idea of two boys. They all get together to see if they really can be compatible. This is their story. I enjoyed this book. It is sweet and charming. A nice way to relax for an afternoon.

This was a fast read and cute story. However I felt like it was kind of superficial. I think it has potential for more with the plot and characters but to me it was little flat and lacked depth. Everything in plotwise moved smoothly unfortunately it left me kind of cold. I didn't feel like we actually got in to their story and got to understand the feelings and build up all. I expected to get more out of the little house and their living arrangements and I really wished to read how the relationship between Tristan and Bellamy as well as James with the Little's as well littles and as bigs developed. To me the story was kind of like o bullet list - each chapter being new bullet. This i believe works for some readers but I need more flowing rhythm to really get in to the story and to get most enjoyment of it. This is why to me this was solid three star read.

This is really good story that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. It is the second book in the series, and it was great to read about some of the characters that were in the previous book but in this story, Bellamy is struggling to find his place in the house, and when a new Little moves in, he is oddly attracted to him, even though he is also little. Tristan has always known his sexual preference, even though his parents try to force their beliefs on him, when he has to leave college and move home again he finds that he needs to be true to himself, and not hide his little. When he gets a job at Chained, he is directed to the little house where he moves into. Bellamy and Tristan become good friends and while they’re at the club, they notice James who is a daddy, and they become a thrupple. Time progresses, and they eventually move in together and go onto live happily ever after.

This is book two in r
the swriwa by this writing combo. Teo separate little's find their way in to a designated house with people with the same interest. Bellamy has been there a while and Tristan arrives after leaving his very toxic parental home.
They find aupport and attration for the other. On a night out in the club they see a man who could be their missing link as a daddy for two. James is ready to pursue the intriguing men and together with his dog King they all four, or is it five, find their hfn/ hea.
This was quick novella with a lot of heart and after theae three conneccting their various feelings of loneliness and not fitting in was gone.
My one critical point, some time jumps where made and I feel overall it would be a more rounded book if the story was a bit more built out. However I do understand that is often part and parcel for a novella.

“I don’t have a little because I haven’t met someone I want in my life at the moment."

This is book 2 in the series, Five Little Roommates, by Della Cain and Kaytea Kat. These two authors are normally instant reads for me so I grabbed it off of Booksprout when it appeared.

This was an MMM like Their Little House Colter which was the first book in this series. I really enjoyed both of these books and they are quick, fun, low angst reads. I'm curious to see if all the books in this series will be similar, which would be all right by me, I love the daddy/little trope and the MMM just adds to the fun.

A somewhat disillusioned daddy, a tired little that's an overworked lawyer, and a little that has to leave college because his scholarship was cancelled. Who knew they needed one another to be complete.

I am loving this series! Tristan has found himself without a place to live after his college scholarship has fallen through. He will find himself a job at Chained and this will lead him to the Little House where he meets Bellamy. Bellamy is a lawyer who feels like an outsider in the Little House until Tristan comes along. I love the way the two bond instantly and find what they need in each other, well except for a daddy. But a last minute party at the club will lead the daddy of their dreams straight to Tristan and it isn’t long before the three of them are finding out they are perfect for each other. James is a wonderful daddy and I love how he chooses these two littles to help him get back into a loving relationship.

Tristan’s dreams of graduation are put on hold when a revoked scholarship forces him to return home—where acceptance is in short supply. Landing a job at Chained gives him financial stability, but his parents’ ultimatum leaves him with a difficult choice. A house share offers him the freedom to be himself, and soon, he finds both unexpected friendship and budding attraction. When a kiss with Bellamy sparks interest from a mysterious observer, Tristan begins to explore a future where he can embrace every part of who he is.

I loved this story with the two men who were drawn together even though they were both little and the Daddy who was drawn to them both as they were a package deal. So sad that Tristan's parents were so fixed in their beliefs. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story.

Della Cain has created another wonderful DD/lg story that focuses around a single Daddy and two very different, yet captivating Littles. James, Tristan, and Bellamy are all so very different in their personalities and backgrounds. I enjoyed the connection that Tristan and Bellamy found, and that they were both tentative about exploring it, yet also somehow determined. James was the perfect balance for them. While the romance was definately the primary focus of this book, there was a minor sub-plot with Tristan's family that threaded through the tale as well. I'm looking forward to more stories from The Little House.

Absolutely a warm hug story. Tristan, is months away from graduating when he loses his scholarship. He has to stay with his homophobic conservative parents until he can get on his feat. He takes a job at Chained, which is the worse thing for his parents. He meets Bellamy, another Little to whom he is instantly attracted to. James, is a Daddy on the lookout for his forever little. He sees Bellamy and Tristan kissing and is instantly enthralled. Sweet story of stepping out of comfort zones and walking a new path. There are challenges and new feelings which absolutely delight. Nicely done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Not every little has somewhere safe, that’s why Monroe, a little himself rents out rooms in his house to Littles that need a safe place and family. And as a little names Tristan finds a home there after his parents kick him out, he finds not only a good living situation but the love of another little and a daddy who wants them both. This is a sweet story, it shows how sometimes you find love with someone you couldn’t think you can and find love and family with more than one lover. Sometimes three makes a perfect family.

This was a quick and super sweet story! Tristan, Bellamy, and James were all so very sweet and adorable. I loved how Tristan and Bell hit it off right from the beginning and decided they wanted to explore things with James together. These two Littles seemed very in sync with each other and James seemed just what they needed and vice versa. I love this Little house and the characters! Very enjoyable!.

Tristan lost his scholarship when he was only months away from graduating. Forcing him to move home with his parents who were homophobic. Bellamy is a lawyer and also a little but he feels like he doesn't fit in at home. James is a daddy who's been single for some time and I'm sure if he wants to put himself out there. The fireworks that you see go off between the three of them is so heartwarming.

I wish these authors would write longer books so that there'd be more depth. So many things were skipped over that I didn't even care about their relationship. I'm not sure I want to bother reading more of this series. I've liked so many of Della Cain's solo books, but I've not been too impressed by her co-writes.

Sometimes a person just needs a sweet story to bring a small smile to their face to get them through the day... and today, that person was me!

Even though my brain notices all the mistakes and grammatical errors, my heart just sees three people finding love, comfort, and happiness. My heart wins out every time!

I have to assume this was AI. The story skipped ahead so fast there was absolutely no character or relationship development. Needed to be about twice as long to get the actual story. Disappointing compared to their other short stories with more depth.
