Pretty much a cheese fest! It may have even been a hallmark Christmas movie starring that very handsome brunette “fill in the blank” actor and the equally cute sunny girl next door “fill in the blank” actress. Add a precocious, bratty, “fill in the blank” child actor and you have yourself a story.
Basically, it is a story of how one young woman brings love to a brooding closed off man who has been disillusioned by love. He is getting a second chance with his 5 year old daughter who has felt abandoned by her dad and unloved by her mom. So the heroine goes about fixing that relationship while falling in love with the hero. Her nanny bag is packed and full of tricks to not only repair the father/daughter relationship, but to unwittingly ensnare the father for herself. Unfortunately, for her the hero is a 1 step forward 2 steps backwards kind of guy when it comes to relationships. He fights against his attraction (with a few slip ups along the way) until almost the end of the story.
If you are looking for a nice little romance that won’t tax your brain cells, then give this a whirl. The sex on this one stays on simmer. We can assume these 2 will marry quickly, so the h can hold off and still buy a white wedding dress!
