She’s a girl fresh out of juvie, and he’s a boy who never got to speak. Together, they are forbidden, and while he is finding his voice, she discovers her peace.
Broken, and branded a lost cause, with fire in her eyes and a spirit that refuses to die, she is handed a second chance she doesn’t want. She’s adopted into a house with a picture-perfect family. But inside those walls lives an imperfect eighteen-year-old son, who is mute. With no friends and no freedom, the only things he loves are his bike and the long roads.
He doesn’t need words to haunt her. He doesn’t need to speak to watch her every move. Behind his silence, he is chaos wrapped in ruin, and in her, he sees the same.
They are not blood, but they are forbidden. Together, they are dangerous, drawn by a hunger that shouldn't exist. When engines roar and secrets come to light, their world becomes something violently alive.
Chaos & Ruin pulled me in almost immediately. This truly is a beautiful and emotionally charged story, one that stays with you even after you’ve put the book down.
Although it’s marketed as a slow burn, the pacing felt quite fast at times. Certain emotions and connections developed very quickly — after barely 24 hours, they’re already nearly inseparable and willing to give everything for each other. I found myself wishing the story had slowed down a little to allow those moments more depth and space to breathe. With a longer build-up and more focus on the development of their relationship, I think their connection would have come across even stronger. Especially considering she’s fresh out of juvie and carries a heavy past, I imagined a more guarded approach to trust and relationships, which could have added even more emotional weight to the story.
That being said, there were many moments I genuinely enjoyed and that even made me laugh. When the writing hits, it’s engaging and immersive, and the atmosphere works really well. Even if the consistency isn’t always there, the story itself remains compelling and emotionally gripping. I especially loved Carmen as a character — her confidence and the fact that she’s not afraid to speak her mind made her feel strong, real, and refreshing.
And then there’s the ending… What a ride.
Overall, Chaos & Ruin may have its imperfections for me, but it’s a story with heart, emotion, and impact — one that left me eager to see where this journey will go next. I truly can’t wait for book two.
Wow A truly knows how to write dark romance and Im truly grateful to be part of it. As I've said before her words resonate deeply in your soul this book is no different! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I laughed at times and of course my heart was all over the place! Dont get me started on the ending ahhh book 2 cant come soon enough!
As always, A has done it again, writing a brilliant story. Chaos and Ruin completely captivated me. The story is beautifully written, with every plot thread carefully connected, and the way A develops the characters and their pasts is simply masterful. The trauma and struggles that bind the characters together are portrayed with depth and realism, making their journey even more compelling.
The writing itself is mesmerizing—captivating, immersive, and it completely draws you in. Everything is so well thought out, from the plot to the character dynamics, that you feel fully invested in the story.
And oh my God, the ending… the last chapters had me with a literal knot in my throat, holding my breath with every page, and that ending, God, it left me screaming. I need to know what happens in book 2 yesterday.
Overall, Chaos and Ruin is a gripping, emotionally powerful read. If you love stories with complex characters, dark pasts, and an engaging writing style, this book is a must-read
Dark. Twisted. Obsessive. This book does not play nice. Carmen has lived through hell. Abused by her stepfather, blamed for the deaths of her parents, and sent to juvenile, she grows up carrying trauma no one bothered to look closely at. What no one knew was that her stepfather was a monster who kidnapped children, locked them in glass cages, and destroyed lives from behind a badge. After juvenile, Carmen is adopted by the judge on her case… and that’s when everything spirals. She meets Judas, her new foster brother, and the pull between them is immediate, dark, and impossible to ignore. They recognize the same brokenness in each other, the same hunger, the same violence simmering under the surface. Judas is obsessed with Carmen from the start, and the lines between right and wrong blur fast. Secrets unravel, betrayals pile up, and when Carmen learns the truth about who killed her parents, everything fractures. What follows is stalking, murder, disappearance, and a rebirth of Judas into Chaos — a man wrapped in leather, violence, and a motorcycle club that doesn’t know who he really is. The second half of this book is pure madness: stalking, spice, blood, obsession, and survival. Carmen never stopped believing Judas was alive, and when their paths cross again, the tension is feral. The ending? Brutal. Bloody. And absolutely cruel in the best way. This is a dark foster sibling romance packed with killing, stalking, trauma, obsession, and a little MC grit. It’s not soft. It’s not safe. And it ends on a cliffhanger that made me want to scream. If you love morally black characters, obsessive love, trauma-bonded romance, and chaos that actually earns its name, this book is worth the emotional damage. I need book two!!

Tropes- 🩷 Mute MMC 🖤 Biker MMC 🩷 unhinged FMC 🖤 masked stalker 🩷 adoptive siblings 🖤 forbidden romance Firstly, wow! Having MGK in the playlist is an immediate yes from me along side sleeptoken. Secondly, that authors note and dedication is everything!! A mute MMC biker! Are you kidding me! The banter between them both after 24 hours of meeting is unmatched! Judas is obsessed with carmen from the beginning and he loves unconditionally. So okay, the first plot was so fucking unexpected. Like wth!!! The games carmen plays with Judas is hilarious🤣 she’s a tease and he plays into it every time! Part 1 slapped me in the face. I definitely wasn’t ready for part 2. Chaos is something else😉😉😉 chapter 16 got my heart squeezed it and just bled It dry. Holy hell! I need more of these 2 and immediately!!! A, you are amazing! That ending was everything. Carmen, you are brilliant🤣
“Stop shouting, I am mute, not deaf”
“How do you let go of someone you never wanted to let go of? How do you call someone the past when she is every thought of my present and every shape of my future”
“Ride or die,” I say, my voice muffled inside the helmet. I press my palm to my chest. “We ride until we die.”
Losing someone hurts most when you are the only one who feels it. When they are still right in front of you, but already gone. The world keeps walking past, keeps talking, keeps pretending nothing is breaking apart.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tropes: Step-siblings to Lovers, Masked Stalker, Adopted/Found Family, Revenge, "He fell first and harder." This isn't your typical step-sibling romance. The level of manipulation starts from day one: Judas literally hand-picked Carmen by leaving her file out for his father, Judge Harrington, to find. From that moment, her fate was sealed. The story takes a dark turn when Judas commits a murder to protect her, fakes his own death, and spends two years in the shadows—watching, waiting, and stalking her until her 18th birthday. The tension peaks when the truth about Judas comes out, leading to a brutal confrontation where Carmen takes her father's life. The escape scene is pure adrenaline. When they say "ride or die," they mean it. The imagery of them racing away from both the law and a vengeful biker gang is cinematic and heart-pounding. The heartbreak of the bike wreck is gut-wrenching. Seeing Judas get arrested while Carmen falls into the hands of the biker gang for two months of torture was a difficult but gripping read. But that ending? Chills. There is nothing more satisfying than Carmen laughing in the face of the Club President, knowing that the man who faked his death and broke out of prison is coming to burn the world down for her. Judas is the definition of a "Black Morality" MMC. He is obsessive, dangerous, and completely devoted. If you love stories about traumatic pasts, soul-shattering loyalty, and a heroine who finds her own darkness, Chaos & Ruin is a masterpiece of the genre.
The tropes in this book spoke to me right away, and I genuinely liked almost every aspect of the story. It could have been a complete home run if the author had chosen to slow down the pacing.
Although it’s marketed as a slow burn, that really isn’t the case. After only two days of living in her new home with her new family, the FMC is already addicted to her new brother, and he is already obsessed with her. Many parts lacked depth and detail, which made the story feel rushed.
That being said, there were definitely moments I really enjoyed. Even though the writing itself is good, it lacks consistency throughout the book.
The biggest issue for me was the age of the FMC. She is only 16 for the majority of the story (around 65%), and I’m thankful there were no explicit scenes during that portion, because that would have felt uncomfortable and inappropriate to read. I strongly feel that readers should be given a clear warning beforehand when main characters are going to be that young. On a positive note, the spice scenes we do get later in the book are very well written—and incredibly hot 🥵.

I don't ride to get somewhere. I ride to leave everything else behind. - Judas
A. Has done it again! Screaming at the end of this book and my husband is just laughing at me! I ate this book up and couldn't get enough, A knows how to drag us under and keep us there.
Carman & Judas are Adopted Siblings but they both hold dark hidden secrets. But not just ones they are hiding, people around them are keeping them too. They are each others forbidden.
But when something happens Judas has to leave her behind.
This pulls at your heart strings in all the right ways but be warned there is no Happily Ever After!
This book does have Trigger warnings, so please read them before continuing. Your mental health matters and what I like you may not! 🖤
This was absolutely phenominal, I cannot find the words to adequately describe how much I loved this book!
It had me hooked from start to finish, the characters were so complex and had so much development through it all and the story was so gripping, there were a few twists that I did not expect at all!
I cannot wait to read more and hope it comes soon because with that ending? I'll be impatiently waiting....
A really does know the way to my heart. I could not put this book down. Perfect for lovers of dark romance and stalker biker vibes. I love me some Judas
"Ride or die," I say, my voice muffled inside the helmet. I press my palm to my chest. "We ride until we die."
This story is vicious, unsettling, and unapologetically cruel—in the most addictive way possible. Chaos & Ruin is not a romance that tiptoes around darkness. It dives straight into it and drags you under.
Carmen’s life has been shaped by violence and blame long before the book even begins. Labeled a killer, discarded by the system, and sent away as a child no one bothered to truly listen to, she grows up carrying scars that were never hers to begin with. The truth—about her stepfather, his crimes, and the lives he destroyed while hiding behind authority—comes too late to save her childhood. By the time she’s released from juvenile detention, Carmen isn’t naïve or hopeful. She’s hollowed out and braced for more damage.
What she doesn’t expect is to be taken in by the very judge who condemned her.
That’s where Judas enters the story—and everything tilts violently off-axis.
Judas is silent, observant, and terrifyingly controlled. He doesn’t need words to dominate a room or to mark Carmen as his the moment she crosses the threshold into his home. Their connection isn’t soft or romantic; it’s instinctive and unsettling, built on shared trauma and a mutual recognition of something broken and dangerous inside each other. From the very beginning, there’s an undercurrent of manipulation, obsession, and inevitability. This wasn’t fate—it was engineered.
As secrets surface and buried truths claw their way into the light, the story mutates from dark psychological romance into full-blown chaos. Protection turns lethal. Love becomes possession. Lines blur until morality is no longer gray but completely obliterated. Judas’s devotion is absolute, violent, and terrifying in its intensity, and Carmen is forced to confront her own capacity for brutality when survival demands it.
The second half of the book is relentless. Identities are destroyed and reborn. Death is staged. Watching becomes stalking. Separation doesn’t weaken the bond—it ferments it into something feral. The tension when their paths inevitably collide again is suffocating, charged with rage, longing, and unfinished violence.
And then there’s the ending.
It’s merciless.
Blood-soaked, emotionally brutal, and perfectly cruel, it rips away any illusion of safety and leaves you suspended in the aftermath. The final moments don’t offer closure—they offer a promise of devastation yet to come. Carmen’s defiance in the face of her captors and the knowledge of who is coming for her is chilling in the best possible way.
Judas is not a hero. He is obsession incarnate—a man shaped by suffering, driven by devotion, and willing to burn the world down for the girl he chose long before she ever chose him. Carmen, in turn, doesn’t remain a victim. She evolves into something sharper, darker, and just as dangerous.
Chaos & Ruin is a masterclass in morally black romance. It’s about trauma, control, loyalty that borders on madness, and love that survives only because it’s forged in fire. This book hurts. It haunts. And it absolutely demands a sequel.
Carmen has spent the past two years in juvie, accused to killing her mom and abusive stepfather. The day she is released, she finds out that she has been adopted by the judge who sentenced her, and his wife. Once in their home, she meets her new adoptive brother. Although he doesn’t speak, words aren’t needed for him to enthrall her, as they form an immediate connection, finding the pieces they were missing in each other. Despite knowing that they can never be more, their connection is undeniable, and even when they are physically forced apart, their attachment remains.
Judas lost his voice after suffering unimaginable horrors as a child. Having been adopted into the Harrington family, he has spent the past decade trying to portray himself as the golden son, while suffering in silence. Being unable to speak makes it difficult for him to have friends, he spends most of his time riding his motorcycle when he’s not having meaningless encounters with women. When Carmen enters his home, he recognizes that she is just as broken as he is, the ruin to his chaos, and knows that from that day forward, he wants nothing more than to possess her soul. As Carmen and Judas uncover secrets meant to remain buried, they unleash a series of events neither could have expected.
I received an early copy of this book from the author and I am unsurprisingly blown away. The writing style hooks you in from the beginning, and the story sinks its claws so deep they won’t let go. While the book had a few comical elements, the darkness lurked below the surface, ready to grab the reader. I loved the author’s take on the instalove in this one, rather than it coming off as nothing but infatuation, she explains it as common souls riding through the night to fight their demons. The taboo aspect of Judas and Carmen’s relationship plays a big role in this story, and his use of the “little sister” nickname just makes it even more delicious (it’s not gross, they’re not related). The book ends on a major cliffhanger which has me watching the clock for book 2 to come out.
I was kinda patiently waiting for this because I mean it’s @iam_e_m but this book really made my spiral just spiral more. I loved it even though it broke me because man oh man could I relate to them both. Yeah I guess I got it bad haha.
Now president can go f*ck himself up the arse no lube. Seriously.
My bby. She started losing her mind towards the end but everything she went through can you blame her? But you can’t blame Judas either (that’s my other bby) because he also had his own demons going on. But she was everything to him so I see why he was dealing with the things he was dealing with. Now page 252. I highlighted that whole d@mn page ok. This book had me drowning in the deep end but I mean it was good. I highly suggest everyone read it when it’s out and ummm yeah ma’am I’m already in your DMs about this!
“Losing someone hurts most when you are the only one who feels it. When they are still right in front of you, but already gone. The world keeps walking past, keeps talking, keeps pretending nothing is breaking apart.”
Yeah. That hit hard. And another one that hit harder was
“All the gold in the world can’t buy back a life you lose. All the speed that blurs past you can’t buy the time you watch slip through your fingers. And in the end, you always lose. You lose people. You lose friends. You lose love. And when there is nothing left to lose, you lose yourself. She was my everything. And I lost my everything before I ever got the chance to truly live it with her. Hold tight to what you love. Everything fades. Everything leaves. Until one day, you are just an empty shell standing where a life used to be. Rides will end. Speed will slow. But a heart that breaks in a thousand pieces never really heals. It only hopes. It hopes it might one day see what it lost again. They say we only love three times in a lifetime. She was my first. My second. And my third. And time is the one thing I don’t have anymore, but my love will always stay.”

WOWWWW… My first time reading A. eM and just wowwwww… Chaos And Ruin is book 1 in the Fallen Saints series and I stayed up way too late just devouring this book in one sitting! I can't fully put into words just how much I loved her writing, it’s dark and spicy which I absolutely love, but it’s also written so beautifully, with such a perfect raw vulnerability that it hits you deep.
Carmen and Judas. Chaos and Ruin. She was released from juvie and adopted by the judge that put her in there. He is the mute biker-boy that was also adopted by the same judge years before. These two have been through pure hell. Trauma and tragedy over and over. They are both so broken, never truly been loved for just who they are. This book is a pure emotional rollercoaster that is so freaking perfect. EVERY single emotion you will feel. So many twists and turns that you will be continually going, OMG, did that just happen?! So many things answered and shocking they are! Things you thought are totally different. You literally can't put it down because you must know what happens! The chemistry between these two. Holy hell! Fire, burn, obsession…. HOT!!!!
This book is dark, possessive, pure obsession. Give me a dark biker romance, then you add a taboo step-sibling relationship who both are so broken but come together to heal and love each other so beautifully. The ending. I said outloud, omg, omg. But he’s coming….. And book 2 will be so perfect when he arrives. God help those in his way………..
“Ride or die. Love with no breaks.”

💗 Adoptive siblings 💗 Forbidden romance 💗 Masked stalker 💗 Mute MMC 💗 Unhinged FMC 💗 Second chance at life 💗 Bikers 💗 Broken girl/ broken boy 💗 Claiming / Marking 💗 Blood play 💗 Knife play 💗 Dubious Consent (Dubcon)
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love A. eM's writing. The authors notes alone will break you, but only because we are all a little broken and her author notes make you feel seen and heard, you can always relate one way or another.
The tropes to this book, Motorcycle, mute MMC, fierce MFC, step sibling, forbidden has me on my knees begging for more!
Carmen has a tough beginning in life, a mum who doesn't protect her, a step father who beats her and a baby sister who needs her. One night changes everything and Carmen faces time in juvenile. No one will listen to her but at 16 she gets adopted by.....wait for it....the judge who put her behind bars!! Yep you can see this book is going to have some twists and turns, hold on tight because this is going to take you on a ride.
Judas is Mute and he was adopted by Judge Harrington and Catherine Harrington. Carmen enters the house and Judas is drawn to her straight away and he wants to get under her skin, it doesn't take long before the two of them fall for eachother, bonding through the little broken parts of them. Carmen tries to act like shes not interested but Judas knows different. Honestly the banter between them was so funny
"Stop shouting. I am mute, not deaf."
There are so many twists and turns in this book that make you want and need more. I am a fast and furious girly, so anything that has cars, bikes and speed has me hooked.
This is a love story built on trauma, pain, darkness and longing to feel like they belong.
"I can't say what tomorrow will bring, because I don't see tomorrow without him in it"
"You might be Chaos to the world, but you're peace to me"
I devoured this book. Every twist and turn caught me off guard, unfolding in the most beautifully unexpected ways. This is a dark, taboo romance centered on adoptive siblings, and it does not shy away from the shadows.
Judas is mute, shaped by a deeply traumatic childhood. Carmen is fresh out of juvi, carrying scars just as heavy. When two broken, abused souls collide, the result is something raw, volatile, and impossible to look away from.
A has an incredible ability to weave meaningful messages throughout her stories. There’s always depth beneath the darkness, and her characters feel achingly real: flawed, damaged, and human.
This is a slow burn, but every second of waiting is worth it. It’s forbidden. It’s masked. It’s dangerous. It’s intoxicating. And when he calls her “little sister”… 👀👀 🥵
A i pick this book up at 2am On Sunday and next thing I knew the sun was fully out and I was finished and left craving, no NEEDING book 2. Holy sh*t I did noy see half of that coming. 🤣 Judas is definitely my new fave though! Melted my heart how devoted, obsessed, & in love with Carmen he is. He is unapologetically himself and so is Carmen. They both have been through things no human ever should go through. They say God gives his strongest soldiers the most to deal with but who says they agreed to be his soldiers. Seems abusive to put KIDS through the things they went through, or anyone of us who are now adults went through. But even though they may be broken, together they are whole. I feel for both of them. Like attracts to like. And from the moment they laid eyes on eachother the tension was palpable through the pages, feeling the burn! And then they explode ooowweee 🌶🌶🌶🌶. It gets hot! But the farther into the book you get the more and more secrets come out from the shadows. Oh boy! Some people just dont know any better than to take what isnt theirs. I'd watch put Fallen Saints, you have something that doesnt belong to you and a monster is unleashed and coming to collect. 🤣🔥
Quote: "Rides will end. Speed will slow. But a heart that breaks in a thousand pieces never really heals. It only hopes. It hopes it will one day see what it lost again."
I highly recommend this book. It sucked me in from beginning to end! I didnt even sleep until I finished lol... ⚠️READ THE TRIGGERS ITS NOT FOR THE LIGHT OF HEART⚠️ ⚠️YOUR MENTAL HEALTH MATTTERS⚠️
In Chaos and Ruin, AeM delivers a high-octane, taboo thriller that is as haunting as it is addictive. The story follows a girl fresh out of juvie—broken, branded a lost cause, and fueled by a fire that refuses to die—who is thrust into a "picture-perfect" adoptive family. There, she encounters her match in her new adoptive brother: a mute biker who finds his freedom on the open road and his obsession in watching her every move. He doesn’t need words to haunt her; he is chaos wrapped in ruin, and in her, he recognizes a kindred, broken spirit. Though they aren't blood, their connection is strictly forbidden, creating a dangerous hunger that threatens to set their world on fire. When engines roar and secrets emerge, their relationship becomes something violently alive, proving that in a "ride or die" world, someone is bound to go down. The strength of this novel lies in its visceral emotional depth and AeM's ability to make the "forbidden" feel inevitable. The prose is sharp and evocative, perfectly capturing the tension of a hero who speaks through silence and a heroine who finds her peace in the middle of a storm. It is a gritty, raw journey that successfully balances the tropes of a masked stalker romance with the heavy atmosphere of a biker thriller . However, for readers who crave high-stakes tension and a romance that pushes every boundary, this book is a hauntingly beautiful ride that hits like a gut-punch.

Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC.. Judas picks Carmen’s file from his adoptive father’s office and leaves it for him to find. The story takes a dark turn when Judas commits a murder to protect her, fakes his own death, and spends two years in the shadows—watching & stalking her until her 18th birthday.. This book is marketed as a slow burn but to me — it was much faster than slow. The first part is also when she’s 16. This should be stated so people are aware. {However, there’s NO sexual encounter until AFTER she’s 18}. Part 2 gets so much better. It’s two years later. We seen what he’s become while he’s had to stay away from her. He is obsessed with her. He’s also full of tattoos now. Yum! I feel like some parts lacked depth and more details. Overall, it made the story feel rushed and not fully complete. Oh, the secrets, twists and turns this took made you want so much more! I seriously can’t wait to find out what happens next. It was just getting REALLY good! I’m hoping we get more details with the next book. I need all my questions answered 🤣

Oh boy, what a wild and delicious ride! This book was chalked full of all the dark romance lovers’ favorite things: adoptive siblings/taboo romance, a man who rides a motorcycle, a completely unhinged FMC with a sharp tongue, a masked stalker, and endless amounts of BLOOD!!!! I honestly could not put down this book as the level of unhinged just kept one upping itself in the best ways possible!!
I loved our couple and their instalove. Honestly, they were both so broken and so similar in a lot of ways, it actually made a lot of sense for this book that they would fall for each other so fast and so soon after meeting. I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll just say, burn it all down. Rooting for these kiddos!
There were so many secrets and so many blacked out memories in this book that I kept gasping as I read, and I need those final puzzle pieces to come together!! I honestly can’t wait for part 2 of their story, which I hope is coming soon because I’m ADDICTED TO THEM!! I also am going to need the forbidden romance that is Nico and Harper after that, please and thank you A.EM!!
Thank you to A.EM for the opportunity to read this book. The thoughts and opinions expressed above are honest and my own.
Chaos & Ruin by A.eM., Book 1 of the Fallen Saints Series. This is a Dark, Taboo, Thriller Romance following Carmen De La Cruz and Judas Harrington. 🚩🚩 This is for adult readers only (18+) as it has mature content and not suitable for underage readers. I cannot stress this enough…there are extremely dark themes so please check out the content warning before you dive in 🚩🚩
My thoughts 💭 She did it again…A - wow. Judas, the traumatized, mute, adopted, older brother…is unhinged and 100% morally black. But the minute he sets his sights on Carmen De La Cruz, he knows he needs to have her near him. Carmen, orphaned after her mother is brutally murdered and adopted by Judge Harrington, who is also the one who put Carmen in juvenile detention for the last two years. She’s in a very dark place after the traumatic event that changed her life and the last thing she expected was her newfound family. They are instantly drawn towards each other, quickly falling into a very taboo relationship. This book is plot twist after twist after twist. I am not sure what I was expecting but it definitely wasn’t what I got, I loved it and I NEED BOOK 2!!!
✨I would like to thank author A.eM. for the opportunity to read and review Chaos & Ruin.
“Promises mean nothing. Words lose their shape the moment you look too close at them. You can’t trust anyone, not even yourself. Trust shatters. And all of it is one big, brutal illusion we are taught to believe is real.”
This one was D E E P! The trauma on both Judas & Carmen’s part were so sad.. but ultimately, it’s what led them to their bond. I liked this story! 🖤
Carmen is fresh out of juvie and gets immediately adopted into Judas’ family. Both of them come from traumatic upbringings, extremely similar in more ways than one, and they find comfort in each other. Judas is a little older than Carmen, and he hasn’t spoken since he was 7 years old, while Carmen is sassy, foul-mouthed, and angry at the world. Together, the two of them become Chaos and Ruin. Their forbidden romance is tense, angsty, steamy, and full of passion - but how will they ever be together? 🫣 And after Judas disappears for 2 years & finds his way back to Carmen, will she accept him with open arms? Can their tragedy really turn into a love story? READ & FIND OUT. 🤌🏻
Words cannot express how much I am in love with this book! This is the second book I have read from A EM and I didn’t think it was possible to love something more than The Mind He Left Behind but she really outdid herself. Chaos and Ruin are the broken pieces that the other was missing. Judas and Carmen have so many different twists of fate throughout this story from their own terrible childhoods and trauma into dark and depraved times at just 18. I never provide spoilers and can say without a shadow of doubt that anyone who loves dark romance with thrillers and mystery needs to read this. The chemistry between the main characters is off the charts from the moment they are introduced into the story. You know everything between them is going to get good, you just can’t even begin to see exactly how good. Every word allows for you to see exactly what she wanted you to see and experience. That is a raw and rare talent to be able to have. I am an avid reader and this book has hit top numbers for my favorites, especially in dark romance. I am not even a little bit patiently waiting for book two so that I can see how the rest of this story plays out.
A.Em is my comfort author. She never fails, and this story was everything I needed. Chaos and Ruin are incredible, the way she describes Chaos, his life... HE IS PERFECT.
And two bikers... it couldn't be more perfect!
I NEED THE BOOK 2, OK? Besides stalker, taboo romance, STEP BROTHERS, adopted children, THE TENSION BETWEEN THEM OMG, it was all 10/10. How am I going to get over this book? I need a Chaos for myself :(
5/5 ⭐️ 4/5 🌶️

Obrigada pela oportunidade de ser arc reader desta obra de arte. Review:
I genuinely loved this book so much. I’m really glad the author mentioned at the beginning that the story is split into two parts because I went in fully expecting dark romance, and the first half being such a slow burn caught me off guard. Still, it worked so well and made the tension and emotional buildup feel intense in the best way.
I am completely obsessed with Judas. I need more of his backstory immediately because the small glimpse we got was nowhere near enough. He’s such a complex, intriguing character, and I found myself constantly wanting to know more about him. Carmen was also a character I really liked, she felt strong and layered, even though at times she did feel a bit young. That said, I understand why she was 16 at the beginning, and it made sense for the story and how everything unfolded.
This book honestly had me hooked, emotionally invested, and not ready for the ending at all. That cliffhanger absolutely wrecked me, and now I’m desperately waiting for the next book because I need to know what happens next.
I quite literally sped through this story 🏍️ into the night!
From juvenile detention, Carmen is put into care with a family and one of them is the judge who sentenced her in the first place. She meets her mute step brother, Judas who seems at first to be a bit of an a$$. However, they have more in common than she realises as their relationship builds, their stories start to unfold, there is more to this than meets the eye…
I couldn’t put it down and finished it in the early hours…I do not recommend doing this cos that ending 😱😂 A. eM has done it again, and dragged me into this world, of love, lies, m^rder and betrayals. Her ability to write these stories that come to life in your head to the point you feel you’re there experiencing their lives 😬 I really do need the next book asap, please and thank you 🥰
Chaos & Ruin is an adoptive siblings, mute MMC, unhinged FMC, bikers, forbidden relationship, thriller, romance.
After leaving juvie 16 year old Carmen is adopted by an unexpected couple joining them in their mansion along with their 18 year old adopted mute son, Judas. Carmen and Judas have this crazy connection and chemistry and become very ‘close’ when suddenly everything changes…
So I’m torn by this one, I loved the characters, the general storyline, the way that through flashbacks we learn so much about Carmen and Judas and how entwined their lives really are, BUT there were a few places where it felt rushed and I wanted more, more angst, just a bit more detail into everything especially in part two. I get we still have a way to go with the story and it ends on a cliffhanger and I will still be rushing to read the next book to see what’s next, hopefully it will fill the gaps. Having said all that I gave it 4 ⭐️ as it had good bones to it and I did enjoy it.
This book was amazing. Judas and Carmens chemistry between them as soon as they met was on fire. The banter nertren them was out of this world in just under 24 hours of meeting
Broken recognises broken they both had the same hunger and violence brewing under there skin
This is a dark Foster Sibling romance with stalking and killing and obsession and loads of trauma. Please check your triggers as this book covers lots of hard topics
This book does end of a cliffhanger that made me want to throw my Kindle across the room.
This book is worth the emotional damage until I can get my hands on book 2
Thankyou for allowing me to part of your arc team This is my honest review
"They say we only love three times in a lifetime She was my first My second And my third And time is the one thing I don't have anymore but my will love will always stay"
*ARC Review* I have so many feelings about this book…. Let me just start by saying I finished in one sitting and yes I will be reading the sequel…. There better be a sequel!!!!!
This story was a lot and at times i felt maybe too much rammed into a novella, i actually think the amount of plot that came out in part 2 would have made a novella all on its own that could have had a bit more depth and part 1 could have absolutely been its own novella.
I imagine a lot of what came out in part 2 will be covered in a sequel. The plot and twists are really good it’s definitely one id recommend but to me the plot lines within this book deserve a lot more time and word count….. I’m basically just asking for more here, but don’t rush, there’s still soooo many opportunities for unpredictable plot twists.
