The Gamma Sequence
Geneticist Lanaya Kim must do what authorities haven’t - tie together the “accidental” deaths of several prominent scientists around the country to show they were actually murdered.
Over the past two years, geneticists have died in what appear to be accidents, but Lanaya knows otherwise. If she tells her secrets to the authorities, she risks becoming a suspect or revealing herself to the killer and becoming an open target.
Hiring private investigator Hamilton DeShear may help her expose the truth, but time is running out. The murders are happening faster, and Lanaya’s name may be next on the killer’s list. But when Lanaya and DeShear start probing, what they discover is far more horrifying than anyone could ever have imagined.
Rogue Elements
After completing the biggest case of his career, private detective Hank DeShear returns home to start treatment for a disabling genetic condition that could end his life, but he learns his partner on the prior case has just been murdered.
Was he wrong to conclude the secretive killer known as The Greyhound had declared a truce? Or have disciples of The Greyhound surfaced to carry on with the murders?
Terminal Sequence
The child prodigy of Hauser's genetic schemes learns of the reality, while Trinn and DeShear team up to stop it all.

Overall, I give the trilogy 4.7 stars I highly recommend reading all 3 books.
The Gamma Sequence--5 Stars This book grabbed my attention on page one and never let go. It is a fast-paced action thriller with so many twists and turns that kept me guessing as to who was a "good guy" and who wasn't. Hank is the only one I was always sure was a good guy. Good and bad is a bit of a gray area in this book which adds to the intrigue. The genetic achievements seemed a bit out there but I was able to believe it could happen. Reminded me of The Boys From Brazil by Ira Levin to some extent. I am diving into the second book right away. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Rogue Elements--5 Stars Once again the story starts off with a bang and the action never lets up. In this book, we learn more about all the main characters and the gray areas of good and bad become even more blurred. Figuring out how all the characters fit into the puzzle isn't easy due to those blurred lines. Once more, Hank is the only one who always falls into the good guy role. I devoured this book in one sitting and am getting ready to read the last book in the trilogy. I can't wait to find out if Hauser is really alive or dead.
Terminal Sequence--4 Stars Terminal Sequence is the pulse-pounding conclusion to The Gamma Sequence trilogy. There are so many twists and turns, betrayals, and backstabbing exploits that kept me turning pages as fast as I could. There are so many murders I began to wonder if anyone was going to make it out alive. I couldn't give this one 5 stars because I felt the genetics applications went a little beyond believable. Plus, why would anyone follow the orders of someone who wasn't really alive? Also, what happened to all the children from book one? All the drones from book 2? All the tansuits and instructors from book 3? I felt there were too many loose ends left unexplained.
#1 The Gamma Sequence Genetic engineering at it's worst. Very reminiscent of Huxley's "A Brave New World ", but with a modern technology upgrade. Yeah, it's a murder mystery, an international espionage and human trafficking exploitation, by a big Body Corporate, whose Chairman believes he's untouchable.
#2 Rogue Elements
I don't believe this book will make much sense unless you read book one - Gamma Sequence
The Greyhound did a Sherlock Holmes, over the water fall, and disappeared. However, the teams he had instigated were still up and running, with the list of scientists that were involved in the genetic tests, and therefore it is these teams that are now going to go rogue and finish the work The Greyhound had started. Again, we believe that the Indonesian setup closed the genetic labs down, but news in other parts of the world prove otherwise. Off course our favorite PI is again in the thick of it.
#3 Terminal Sequence
The monster that was Dr Hauser, the genetic manipulater, trying to ensure himself ever lasting life, has survived a gunshot to the chest in Indonesia, by being placed in cryogenic suspension. However, it wasn't prepared for before hand, and skin cell deterioration is slowly killing what's left of him. With one or more backup plans in place, our band of intrepid investigators are being lead a merry chase across various countries, trying to stop further body-part farms from flourishing. The bad guys have multiple partners, all in high positions in various governments. So it's a very treacherous task.
This three book series follows the lives of an evil genius Marcus Hauser trying out all kinds of experiments to create perfect human beings without diseases and with superior strength, mental abilities, the whole works!!!
The Grammars are o need such group that come with superior qualities as well as some medical issues which is being treated with medications designed by the scientists who are part of Hauser's group Angelis Genetics!
The series deals with the events that occur through the. whole procedure, the attempts of people who are trying to put a stop to the atrocities, mainly the Gammas Tristan and Hank / Hamilton DeShere aided by a whole lot of other people most of whom lose their lives!
Though a little far fetched ( as perceived by a geneticist like myself!), the book is totally fascinating, keeps the reader enthralled and glued to the books until the last page is read! It is a brilliant, delightful and charming book series!!!
The Gamma Sequence: A MEDICAL THRILLER, my fourth read from author Dan Alatorre. I don't restrict myself to a particular genre. I'm a sucker for anything with memorable characters and a story that keeps me guessing and a plot that keeps me turning the page & this book did.
Rogue Elements (The Gamma Sequence #2), my fifth read from author Dan Alatorre. Continuing seamlessly from the first book.
Terminal Sequence (The Gamma Sequence #3), my sixth read from author Dan Alatorre. Continuing seamlessly from the first 2 books of the Gamma Sequence this is another page-turning thriller! I look forward to the fourth book in the series. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
This 3 book set has all the elements of a great story, and one of the best things about it is the fact that the author took the time to do a great job editing. Most of the book I’ve read lately have so many mistakes in them that they detract from the book. Not so with the Gamma Sequence. Characters were well developed, plot lines intertwined and surprises along the way. Overall, a great read!
This isn't the genre I normally read. But these books gave me several sleepless nights. I don't mean they scared me so bad I couldn't get to sleep or I had nightmares when I could sleep. I mean I didn't want to sleep! I just had to read that "one more chapter before bed"! The next thing I knew the alarm was going off and I was still reading!
I really enjoyed this series. It moved fast and had lots of twists and surprises in it. However, there was a lot of violence and killing. I especially enjoyed Terminal Sequence, book 3. It finished everything up nicely.
This was interesting because I didn't know what to expect. It keep you intrigued as to what was going to happen next. I was surprised by the ending and am now on book 2 of the series.
A very well written series with great characters and lots of action in a horrifying tale of medical/scientific testing. Be prepared to be very upset by what can be done in the name of "science and human advancement".
This is a great series to read all at once or one book at a time. I have the single books but bought the box set because I like the continuity of flow instead of reading the first... second...... The characters change somewhat between books but they all have the same great action and timing as the first.
