Following the unstoppable devastation of Joshua's coordinated attacks around the globe in Project Apex, the scattered pockets of survivors must regroup to try and find a way to combat what seems to be an unbeatable foe hell-bent on eradicating humanity and reshaping the world in their own image.
When a chance discovery leads to possible glimmer of hope Draven and the government must race to secure the mysterious Subject A before Joshua can find him and eliminate any hope of ever stopping their horrific rampage of destruction.
An adrenaline-filled action-packed thriller on a global scale blending elements of horror, thriller, science fiction and post-apocalyptic dystopian fiction, Eradication continues the story started in Project Apex and takes the listener on another rollercoaster ride as humanity battles for the survival of its species, even if it means becoming monsters themselves.

What a fantastic follow up to the first book in this series. This is high octane non-stop thrills all the way, not for the faint hearted but for those that love a dynamic plot, instantly connectable characters and a story that barrelled you along with it.
In Project Apex a new breed of man, a soldier was developed. A superhuman of sorts. Things went horribly wrong and now this army of "men" have more power in their hands than anyone group of people should ever hold.
The world is falling apart. Cities are being obliterated, millions are dying, nuclear bombs are falling and countries are burning and ravished by all things Evil. It's like a really bloody good RPG game brought to life.
Someone has to find a way to stop the virus that gives this super army and its leader their power over the whole world. The US Government look to one man to stop the end of the world. That's high expectations!
This is full of action, thrills, chills, some really disturbing moments that sadly are not so removed from war torn countries we see in the news even today. Humanity has lost the plot. Amongst this the survivors are trying to stay alive and find safety. It's scarce.
I read this quickly, unable to put it down. Eager for the next moment, it kept me buzzing on my toes! I was with the good guys and hating on the bad guys. You will feel passionate when you read this book. How could you not.
Michael Bray has captured in his novel a world so scary because its so close to much happening in our world now but he's written in one brilliant twist. Never underestimate this author. This should be a best-selling block buster thriller series. More people need to read this series. You'll love it!
5 stars from me. Engaging from start to finish abs that ending! I'm on tender hooks for the next book in this great series. Let's do this. This book makes me want to go all Lara Croft and get in there and fight.Settle...settle.
This follows on from the first book project Alex and is just as invigorating. Unfortunately not as much blood and gore but still a good story and full of adventure and twists. Can't wait for the next book to find out where it goes and what happens. Would recommend to any book reader.
This is the second book in the Project Apex series and picks up right where the first one ended. Joshua and his army of zealots continue to reign terror, death, torture and mayhem on the innocents around the globe. Draven may be the only one who can put a halt to this unrelenting horror but suffers a few blows along the way. If you love fast paced, action packed horror stories with lots of blood, gore and terror with a couple of HOLY CRAP twists thrown in, this is the book for you. I'm really looking forward to the third book in this awesome series.
Project Apex continues… Book 2 is just as intense as the first, and leaves me dying to read the conclusion. There is some more history learned about characters and the project itself. Armageddon, the Apocalypse, the end of the world…no matter how you say it or see it, it’s happening in this series and it is amazing! Entire cities have been obliterated, society crumbles, mass confusion hinders all, a dictator who is ruling by fear, violence and keeping his promises. Communications are down, technology is limited to a very select few, zombie type creatures are everywhere, concentration camps are imitated, and no one is safe or exempt. Families are torn apart in every way imaginable, some people find out what they are really made of. There is so much going on within the story, such as growth of characters, relationships between characters, and revelations of what may come and who can do what to stop it. The virus is strong, the infected are superhuman, super intelligent, and emotionally different. Don’t trust anyone, don’t negotiate with terrorists, don’t let the human race become eradicated! What would you do to survive and protect your loved ones? Can Richard Draven help? I cannot wait for more and I most highly recommend to all fans of modern horror!
This an absolutely intense follow up to Project Apex. Well written and researched and scary because something like this could actually happen, I was blown away by not only the settings in this story, but more importantly, the characters.
Joshua has begun destroying the world by using his army of super humans to kill or change everyone on the planet. The dead rise, the President of the United States is fighting for his life, and all around the world, governments begin to crumble. Small resistance bands begin appearing, but most people are simply fighting just to stay alive.
It's up to Richard Draven to find a way to stop these people before they take over the entire planet and he just might have found the answer in a very unlikely place.
Darker and more heart pounding than Project Apex, Eradication is an apocalyptic tale like none you've ever read before.
My only complaint is that the final book isn't out yet.
Id u loved the first apex book then you'll love this one too. Carries straight on with much more battles carnage sadness etc. An emotional ride. Can mankind find a way to fight back against Joshua and his plans for the new world??? Just read it already!!
