Covers the basics, yarns, tools, stitches although it only shows the English version of knit/purl. A nice section on different stitch patterns. Some current patterns though I think the children's section relies too heavily on the same motifs and embroidery techniques. Includes a small section on design and knitter graph paper for the more creative.
