This is a well written, easy to read commentary on the book of Daniel. It clearly explains the importance of Daniel in history and in eschatology.
Daniel is part history and part prophecy, and is essential reading for those interested in, and looking toward, end times. History and archeology have already shown those prophecies in Daniel which have taken place since their writing, were accurate. “Just as the prophecies concerning the events of the past were fulfilled, so these prophecies concerning the events of the future are certain to be fulfilled”.
If you think that much of the Bible is allegorical (it’s not), you should read this. Although you may not like what it says. It’s also a good companion for Revelation study.

This book is probably a 4 or 5 star book if you actually hold the Premillenial view or want to know how that eschatology interprets Daniel. However, based on what the book claims to be, a Commentary on the Book of Daniel, I can only give it one star. There is nothing about the Cross, the Atonement, or anything about the actual Gospel. This is some great by-pass surgery here. From the Premillenial viewpoint, you just can't see the forest for the trees.

I thought the author did a good job of explaining some complicated timelines spanning to the second coming of Christ. It was an easy read and got to the point of explanations quickly. Well done.
