Liz Allison provides an insider's guide to the world of NASCAR racing from a woman's point of view, tackling the rules and regulations of the sport, explaining the official point and flag systems, and offers helpful tips on traveling to and from race events.
Liz Allison is the widow of NASCAR Legend Davey Allison - who passed away July 13th, 1993 after the helicopter he was piloting crashed at Talladega Speedway in Alabama.
Since his death, she has authored and co-authored several NASCAR related books. She recently broke into the Romance genre by co-authoring the book "No Holding Back."
Liz shares great stories from her time inside the NASCAR circle. A great fun read for any NASCAR fan or the partner of a NASCAR fan to have those silly fun things to share.
I read the paperback in 2006. I liked how she broke the sport down and described the tracks. The information about the drivers is a bit dated by now, but I enjoyed the book when I read it.
Loved this book as I love Nascar and have been to races myself. This is a great breakdown about Nascar for ladies who want to know more about this great sport.
