Dare to Oppose is a follow-up novel to Dare to Resist, Dare to Endure, and Dare to Defy and is meant to be read after you've read those books. You can read Dare to Oppose or Dare to Prevail in any order, but it's recommended that you read Dare to Resist, Dare to Endure, and Dare to Defy first.Morgan is thrilled to be back in her world with her family, and is ecstatic that Billy is by her side. AFTER by Christine Kersey the 4 th book in Parelle series. Morgan and Billy is life picking up from when Morgan left? She goes to school, has anything changed. Do they believe the story told of what happened, and what he was before coming to this side. Billy enjoying the freedom, even though young, yearns for a family of his own. Final story THE OTHER MORGAN Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
I’ll admit that as a parent of a teen, I found the whole series a bit improbable. The author created memorable characters, and even with an unlikely plot, I felt like I needed to read all of them. I’m glad I did. This last one pulled the series together and gave it a nice sense of closure. It’s a perfect way to spend your Saturday when you have the time to do nothing but read.
This was a decent book. I loved getting sucked in to a fake world that actually had some real questions and concerns that could take place in the real world!
I know that Morgan is just a teenager, but some of the decisions she makes now after everything she has been through in the "other" world are just plain unbelievable! And after everything, she just gets up and goes to school the next day as does Billy? Nah. While its great to see Billy adjusting to a new life in Morgan's world, it's just hard to believe that while they believe his and Morgan's story about being from a parallel world, they are comfortable with shuffling him off to some coworker who just accepts him into his home - no questions. Small town, I guess. Sorry, but after the first three books, I expected more drama or action like PTSD bouts or a threat coming through from the "other" world and less aimless wandering and bad decision making.
Even though I felt this story was a little slower than the original Parallel Trilogy, it was still a really great story. I would recommend this to anyone who has read the first three books and maybe felt like a few things were left unanswered about what would happen with Morgan and Billy.
I didn't like this one as much as the original trilogy but it was fun to find out what happens to Morgan & Billy after returning to Morgan's world. It was also interesting to read the different Morgan/Billy points-of-view throughout. Looking forward to "The Other Morgan" as the final story in this great group of books!
Enjoyed it but the trilogy is much better and has a stronger storyline. As much as I enjoyed reading this I also got bored at bits unfortunately. All the same its worth buying and clears up some of the characters story's nicely.
This story is a riveting page turner. I am twelve years old and I think it is great for all ages. Has a good message and I would recommend this book to anyone
