Ella Summers has been writing stories for as long as she could read; she's been coming up with tall tales even longer than that. One of her early year masterpieces was a story about a pigtailed princess and her dragon sidekick. Nowadays, she still writes fantasy. She likes books with layered plots, lots of action and adventure, and a touch of romance. When she is not busy writing or spending time with her two young children, she makes the world safe by fighting robots.

Originally from the U.S., Ella currently resides in Switzerland. She is the author of Sorcery and Science, a fantasy adventure series set in a world splintered by magic and technology.

Leda’s Log must be read after the Legion of Angels series. It is made up of five short stories.
If you brought it from Summer’s kickstarter, at the beginning of each story is an illustration, my favourite is the one where Nero and Leda are together, it is absolutely gorgeous and stunning 😍!

Part 1 and 2 is set between book 10 and book 11 of LoA. Such a fun revisit with Leda and Nero, but also some pretty big and surprising revelations! Leda’s brilliant thinking and humour never fails to make me laugh and Nero always makes me swoon.

Part 3 is set shortly after book 12 (God’s Battleground). Where we see another favourite couple of mine 😉, Angel and Shadow. I will repeat this a thousand times but I love Leda, Nero and Sierra’s relationship!

Part 4 is set 9 years after book 12 and is probably my favourite! Peak Nero and Leda romance and we got to see so many of our favourite characters. Seeing how Leda and Nero have grown as parents to Sierra is so special.

Part 5 is set 13 years after book 12 and is told by Sierra’s POV! It was so interesting to read Sierra’s view and I think perfectly introduces us to her series. I love her love for her parents and omg so many twists in this one. Summers is a master storyteller who always manages to make me in awe of her writing capability.

I adore Leda and Nero so much I cannot describe it; it was lovely to spend more time with them but also made me excited for what is next.

The ending of this series has been so so so beyond disappointing. I feel like the author gave up somewhere around book 7 and it just spiralled. Too many characters and the plot line wasn't developed enough. So disappointing considering I re-read the first 5-6 books so many times!

As the author says: this is an epilogue book containing five stories of life in the Legion of Angels from Leda’s memories.

Part One: Calamity at Storm Castle: Set between books 10 Phoenix’s Refrain & 11 Demon’s Mark. Valentine’s Day, LoA-style with sparkly animals and two new powerful friends.

Part Two: Killing Time: Immediately after Calamity at Storm Castle. Leda and Nero find themselves zapped back into the past, Leda’s past. She has no powers and never went through Angel training. She needs to find Nero, find out why they’re here and how to back to their time.

Part Three: The Ball of Champions: Shortly after book 12 God’s Battleground. While Leda, Nero and Sierra are on a picnic, Princess aspen shows up begging for help. Her BBF is sabotaging her efforts to run for Queen.

Part Four: The Daughter of Order and Chaos: Nine years after book 12 God’s Battleground. Sierra is 11. Ronan and Nyx need to off world and make Nero First Angel. Then Sierra has a frightening premonition about a ring.

Part Five: The Queen of Magic: Thirteen years after book 12 God’s Battleground. A story in Sierra’s POV who is now 16. She has another premonition about a ring, but this time there’re 16 of them with strange writing on them.

Even though I’m not a huge fan of short stories or novellas, I just had to read this last book in the Legion of Angels series. It was so good to see both Nero and Pandora together again joined by their daughter, and then we get to see Sierra by herself. These short stories are fun, well-written, entertaining, and an excellent interlude until the next series comes out. If you are a fan of this author or series, this book is definitely a must-read. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

A fiery read!

Come save the universe again, just one more time...

I have missed these characters do much. Reading this book felt like coming home. So welcoming and so much warmth.

This book took us on an adventure - a journey far and wide, meeting so many new characters. I can't wait for more!

Full of gods, curses, family, friends, powers, angels, witches, magic, demons, dark angels, and love.

Perfect for readers of paranormal romance/urban fantasy.

Amazing short stories featuring Leda, Nero, Sierra and Angel.

A few great short stories with Leda and Nero, where we follow them on a few adventures and see new exciting magic and worlds.
We get to see behind the scenes between books as well as skip ahead a few years after Gods Battleground.
A few great bonus stories, where we get to see Sierra grow up.

Omg

I like totally enjoyed this book. The whole family and seeing Sierra grow. I totally can't wait for Sierra to have her own continuing story. I've enjoyed this series from being too end.
