Loved This!!
I absolutely loved reading this. I always love reading new authors. Tessa a writer was sent to write an article about the Mountain Man Sawyer Holt in Pine Hollow. She arrives in town and goes to drop off her suitcase at the Inn. She heads into town and stops in a cafe to get a cup of coffee. Annie the owner and she start talking about Sawyer. Tessa asks if he’s real. Annie says “Real Grumpy, Real Hot and Real hard to get a sentence out of him.” Annie gives her directions to his place. Wishes her luck. Tessa gets in her car and makes her way up to his cabin. Meanwhile Sawyer is outside shirtless chopping wood. When she pulls up and gets out she starts to talk and his answer is NO to whatever she asks. As she’s trying to make him understand that she is there only for a short story from him he still says NO. Then all of a sudden the sky changes and it looks like a storm is moving in. He tells her to leave and when she gets close to her car the sky opens up and sheets of rain soak them both. Though he doesn’t want to he tells her to come inside and dry off. She hesitates but then follows him into the cabin. He goes into the kitchen to make something warm to drink for her then starts to make dinner. He tells her the bathroom is through the door and gives her some of his clothes. They might be big but they’ll be dry. When she comes out he’s just about done with the preparation of dinner. He comes in and hands her a bowl and he sits down with his own bowl. Tessa groans with how good it tastes. Sawyer stays very cool and distant from her. Tessa keeps at him with questions and he says little. Then… 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊

Wow what a way for people to get to know the brooding lumberjacks of Pine Hollow. Tessa a writer on a mission to find out about the men posted in this instagram hashtag. Her trip is not an easy one. The place is off the map, the puddle jumper she rides makes her think she’s going to die, and then the car rental place has one or two cars not really a big place. She makes it to Pine Hollow and gets to work. She finds out from Annie from the diner where to find Sawyer the star of this hashtag that honestly has intrigued her. She drives up the mountain and finds Sawyer, who is chopping wood shirtless. He stops and grunts at her, just like he’s described grumpy and reclusive mountain now. Tessa is not one to back out of the challenge though, they have a little banter and she sees him smirk a little. Then he says you need to head back down the mountain before the storm hits. But the storm has other plans hits faster than planned and strands her at his cabin by knocking over tree and blocking her path to leave. The storm draws them together. Soaked by the downpour, Sawyer gives her his clothes to wear. Which Tessa is quite comfortable in. They sit and eat soup with their normal banter. This banter continues until a stalker strikes. When it terrifies Tessa, Sawyer’s blood starts to boil and he wants to get everything figured out to keep her safe and keep her in his tiny end of the world. I can hope the story continues or we hear more in a coming book.

Sawyer and Tessa. She’s on assignment to find out who the mountain men of pine hallow are. She’s saved one in particular. He looks like he’s waiting for someone. When she gets off the plane the gossip hits town before she gets in her rental. He runs Holts Timber. A growly mountain man. Prefers trees to people. She goes to his cabin. When he sees her he thinks she doesn’t belong here. Says he’s not a story. Says not interested. She doesn’t back down. After the arguing she says ok your quote is "no story here" turns toward her car and the sky opens up. He says she can’t drive the road could wash out and she says will take her chances. Then a heavy tree falls behind her vehicle. What are the odds? She has to go to his cabin. Their banter is full of fun and innuendos. Something happens that’s frightening. He says he will protect her. The tension changes. It starts then stops. Then they just watch and wait. Then the lights go out from the storm. As they hunker in for the storm and cold the tension is back. And it blows up. In a good way. Then they go to town to see who’s stalking. They find the source and they go hunting. They find equipment. Then more pictures on her phone. They find more equipment, then, OMG no way.
This is a different plot than other mountain man stories. It’s a good one. Well written and great characters all around. There’s mystery and suspense and it’s an intriguing and entertaining read. It’s a heartwarming time that feels real and you are there.

What a fabulous ebook. It was so good and so hot that I couldn't stop reading it. Do your reading interests include possible danger, passionate moments, and intrigue? Well if that's what interests you then you really should get this ebook. Tessa is going to the Mountains where it has been posted that there's a bunch of good looking mountain men. One in particular catches Tessas's eye and she decides to find him to interviewhim for a mountain man article.. Sawyer is chopping wood when he sees a gorgeous woman get out of her car and just stares. Tessa sees Sawyer and she's instantly attracted to this mountain man hottie but he doesn't make her job easy. The chemistry between Sawyer and Tessa is so spicy hot and their attraction just hums with electricity. Will this be only the beginning or will Tessa and Sawyer distance themselves because of the reason she came? Can Tessa continue to take Sawyer's grumpy ways and can she believe that her real reason to stay is a tall rugged mountain man named Sawyer? Does Sawyer let Tessa into his life and into his heart and does he protect Tessa from possible danger? This truly exceptional author has written this fantastic electrically charged 5⭐️ebook that I really loved. I highly recommend you get this one. You'll be so glad you did.

Tessa traveled to Pine Hollow in search of the hot lumberjacks whose pictures kept getting posted online. One in particular. She's a journalist, and she's hoping this will be her big break. She won't take No for an answer. But when she found Sawyer, she got more than she bargained for.
Sawyer likes his solitude. But since he and some other guys in Pine Hollow had been turned into an internet thirst trap, he was getting a little more attention than he wanted. Like he's the special of the week. Then some journalist shows up and wants to write a story about him. He definitely doesn't need some nosy woman poking into his business.
But when a storm hits and Tessa is stuck in his cabin, Sawyer starts to question his solitary existence. She may be nosey, but she's persistent and a hard worker. And when he realizes that someone is taking pictures of them and posting them in real time, his only thought is to keep her safe.
This was yummy, with a hot lumberjack and the woman who snuck under his defenses. Expect some gratuitous shirtless wood chopping, and plenty of grumbling from our reclusive mountain man. A little stalker drama turns him into a hot protector. Perfect.

It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, grumpy-sunshine, forced-proximity, curvy girl gets her mountain man romance. Sawyer is a hunky, grumpy, reclusive mountain man and lumberjack. Tessa is a smart, sassy, funny, and curvy journalist from the city. Her boss has sent her to the mountains to do a story on the sexy mountain men. She has a picture of Sawyer that she is drawn to and is determined to talk to him. She makes it up the mountain only to be told to leave by Sawyer until her car is crushed by a tree during a storm. She ends up staying with him at his cabin and sparks fly as they get to know each other. But someone is watching them and invading their privacy. Can Sawyer keep her safe? Can he convince her to stay? These two had such insane chemistry, and the ending was so happy after the drama was resolved. I loved it!.

Claimed by the Lumberjack is filled with chemistry, connection, action, and mystery. Tessa is a dynamic woman with a drive to succeed and a heart of gold. Patient and caring, she is good at reading the room and knowing when to push versus when to be still. Sawyer is an interesting and mysterious man carrying a heavy heart. He doesn’t speak much, but when he does it carries weight. I loved watching these two grow closer as their circumstances shifted throughout this novella. Theirs is a sweet story with a touch of suspense and a lovely HEA.

This was a touching story, with romance and spice on top. Tessa I'd looking for a story while Sawyer simply wants to be left alone on his mountain (something the busybodies in town are determined to see doesn't happen). While the romantic thread develops, readers grow to understand the hurt, loss, grief and fear that drive many people's baser actions (self-preservation, protection, etc). On the surface, this is a steamy enemies to lovers romance, but the message the text conveys goes far beyond that simple function.

Tessa is chasing a viral sensation story about the thirst traps in Pine Hollow. One in particular, Sawyer, has caught her eye. When she gets to his cabin, a storm breaks out, a tree is felled, and they're stuck together for a while.
I loved the banter in this story and the chemistry between the characters. In between the steamy times and a little suspense with a stalker, is a sweet story between two imperfect characters that fit together so well. Loved it!.

The book I’m reviewing today is titled, Claimed by the Lumberjack which is part of the Sexy Lumbersnacks Series written by Lena Cove. I throughly enjoyed this story of a grumpy lumberjack (Sawyer) having his silence broken, by the headstrong gorgeous news journalist (Tessa). This story has a plot twist that connects to having your life plastered for the whole world to see. Liked the immense connection with these characters.

He is not the one posting the photo and he just wants to be left alone. When she is stuck at his cabin, this gives her extra time to find out the answers to her questions.

I’m not going to lie, when I read the title, I thought it sounded kinda cheesy. But I’m glad I gave “Claimed by the Lumberjack” a shot, because it’s awesome. It’s the first book in “Sexy Lumbersnacks,” and I’m pretty sure I’m going to love them all. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Lena’s book is about one of her characters being claimed, and as the title would suggest, this character’s rescuer is one hunky lumberjack. Great read.

A sweet story That was just too short
I enjoyed this story, the characters, The setting and ending. This story was perfect for just before going to bed it was a happy story. There was some conflict in the story But not between the couple it actually united them. I like reading these stories at night As it's a perfect ending to a busy day for me So if you like Happy stories with a perfect ending this book would be for you.

Lumberjack romance, forced proximity and one bed - all tropes that I love. Sprinkle in a hint of mystery and danger when a stalker gets too close for comfort and begins taking pics and this story is a fun way to pass a few hours.

Enjoyed this short of a grumpy lumberjack having his silence broken, by the headstrong beautiful journalist. This one has a twist that ties in to having your life documented for the whole world to see and know. Liked the genuine connection with this couple.

She went there to do an interview for a fluff piece. The weather decided she was going to stay awhile. Things quickly heat up in the tiny cabin. someone is watching them, taking pictures and posting them. This only drives them closer.

This is one of the sweeter romances of this type. Sawyer is growly. Tessa is a sweetheart. It's fun to watch the story progress.
The intimacy is respectful without the four letter word that often accompany sexy stories. I appreciate that.
