In Lea Griffith's Loveswept debut, a novel that's perfect for erotic romance readers, two lovers who have shared exquisite pain and unforgettable bliss find solace back in each other's arms.
Jeremiah Copeland and Daly Edwards have a history. Even though he grew up a criminal struggling to care for two younger siblings, and she's the pampered daughter of a power-hungry senator, they formed a bond that nothing could break. Only a lack of trust ripped them apart.
Seven years later, Daly has reason to believe that Jeremiah's brother is in trouble. She reaches out to Jeremiah the only way she knows how: at his BDSM club, The Underground. But one look ignites a heat she thought had cooled forever. As Jeremiah takes control of her body once again, Daly quickly loses control of her carefully rebuilt world. Too much has never been enough between them, and as danger swirls in the shadows, Jeremiah forces Daly to recognize what has never changed: She still loves him. His command is that she return her heart--and he will make her obey.
"Too Much "is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

"too much was just never enough."

It’s been three years since Daly left Jeremiah, and it’s been three years of hell, as impossible as they were together there was no denying the passion they shared was too much for them to handle leaving them burned in the end. When Day gets roped in to deliver a message from Jeremiah’s brother she has no choice but to go to the Underground, a place for people who enjoyed their sex with a side of spice. Jeremiah spared no expense when he built this place, hoping one day Daly would come back and enjoy the life with him.
“Rules are naught between us. You have my everything because you will give me yours.”

Jeremiah is pissed that his brother, the reason he lost Day in the first place, has brought her back into the mix. His past is not something he is proud of but he did right by her and changed his ways, but some people are willing to use who and what they can to get to him and it’s up to him to get to the bottom of it before he loses her again. Burned by their lack of trust, driven by assumptions and fueled by the insatiable need, it doesn’t take long for Jeremiah and Day to pick back up where they left off, only this time they are in it for the long haul, willing to do anything to keep their promise of forever.

Too Much was a little bit too much for me. This was a case of I liked it but didn’t love it kind of read. While I enjoyed their sexual intensity, tension and light BDSM play their interactions outside of all things sex, was frustrating; their assumptions and non-communication drove me crazy. This stand-alone read was told from both POV’s, the beginning focused on their need and connection, one that couldn’t be denied, but it isn’t until later on in the book that we find out what happened to them three years ago, leaving me confused for the most part. Their relationship was toxic, while being able to speak with their bodies and need, their words were poorly delivered. The things they would do sometimes didn’t make sense to me, I get they wanted to protect each other, but how could you love someone you don’t trust? Regardless it was still a highly enjoyable read.

...finish this book.
...figure out what the point is.
...stand the dom/sub aspect.
...find a fuck to give.

It's the same thing over and over and over and over again.

I don't even know what this book is about. All I know is Jeremiah and Daly used to have a dom/sub relationship. Jeremiah did something to betray Daly's trust....I mean he was the head of the Dixie Mafia

That's hot. But Daly didn't like Jeremiah being involved in illegal activities. Blah, blah, blah.

Daly leaves Jeremiah and they don't have contact for three years. Until Jeremiah's brothers class ring shows up on Daly's door step. A call for help that meant nothing but trouble.

So Daly goes to see Jeremiah. And things from here just keep going downhill. Now, let it be known that I am NOT a fan of BDSM, nor do I know much about the lifestyle. But Jeremiah and Daly's dom/sub relationship seriously made me roll my eyes.

Daly was adament about not being submissive but one second in Jeremiah's presence and she was bowing down to his commands. Over and over again..."I need to show him that he hurt me, that he no longer can control me, that I am no longer his."

I have no idea what happens....I just can't bring myself to care. Seemed to be all sex to me for the most part. Maybe there's some big mystery surrounding the high school class ring. IDK...

3,5 Stars full of heartache and crazily hot love..

Assumptions and the lack od trust destroyed them once and now they threaten them all over again.

The story starts 3 years after Daly and Jeremiah's break up.. A break up that put their lives on hold and devided their relationships with many people.. Jeremiah had an awful start in life when he was abandoned by his parents in a tender age to care for his siblings and Daly had an abominable father who only cared for his image and not his kid..

Those two together where perfect together, she brought up everything good in him and he cherished her more than his own life.. But tragic circumstances tore them apart.. Now they have something that looks like a second chance..

Well i had a bit of a struggle to get into this book but i really like it despite some issues. Their relationship is really fascinating, very deep yet vulnerable. Daly is so strong and Jeremiah unguarded when it comes to her..

It's a very sensual, the whole book actually feels like an extended love scene. I loved their games and mostly the last few scenes. All in all is a good book with some suspence elements that highlight the main relationship.

THOUGHTS ABOUT THE BOOK

- His code was her birthday.. AWWW!
- I hated right away this Savvy!
- I liked how loyal she was to him..
- Poor Toby and Ruthie.. I hope they get their own book..
- The editing is great considering this is an ARC..
- I liked Candace..:D
- I really think that it was for the best that they broke up the first time..
- The question if they love each other too much or not enough is very nicely answered by their actions..

"Jeremiah Copeland-I'd probably let you fuck me just about anywhere"

Jeremiah and Daly have been apart for three years and the secrets that tore them apart bring them back together again. Once they see each other again they are unable to stop the need they have for each other. With their past never forgotten they both have to learn to trust one another, and not just in the bedroom.

This book was YUM-me with a capital YUM! I really liked all of the characters and their history. Jeremiah and his siblings grew up tough and didn't have a great childhood. He's always been the one that needed to take care of everyone around him. Daly was a strong female character, though, and she didn't need to be taken care of by Jeremiah. I loved loved loved Jeremiah with his growling and possessiveness. Hello new book boyfriend, welcome to the group!

My problems with this book: Okay, I never, absolutely never, thought I would say this about a book but there was too much sex. I think the story was great and had potential but the majority of the book was Jeremiah and Daly hooking up and then fighting their feelings for each other. The actual problems of the book, with Jeremiah and his brother and their past, was brought up a lot but never really dealt with until the end.

Overall this was a great book and I can't wait to read more from Lea Griffith. Too Much can be summed up with...

When he was twelve, Jeremiah Copeland’s abusive parents abandoned him, his younger brother David and their sister Ruthie. He did what was necessary to keep his family together and to survive. He became a drug and money runner for a local dealer. In middle school, he met Toby and they became friends up until University and beyond. In the mean time he had worked his way up to becoming a middleman between a dealer and the leader of the Dixie Mafia and eventually to an enforcer and bodyguard for the mafia leader. At twenty-one, he met Toby’s sixteen year old sister, Daly. The connection between them was instantaneous and deep, and he waited patiently until she turned twenty-one before he made her his. He went so far as to leave his life of crime behind him. For her. Because of her. As the daughter of a then senator, she risked her father’s ire to be with the former bad boy. But all of that ended when Jeremiah chose to help his brother out of trouble which cost him the woman he loved.

Three years later, Daly has to re-open old wounds and face Jeremiah, the only man she ever loved, walked away from and had never gotten over. He let her go once, but he won’t let her walk away again. Not without a fight to earn back Everything he’d once lost. As they fight for their second chance, someone is out to get Jeremiah and isn’t above using David and Daly to get to him. With trust issues still unresolved between them, will the once lovers learn from past mistakes or will history repeat itself?

Lea Griffith is a new to me author, but after spending the past five hours devouring this book, I’m so glad I requested it. I loved the connection between Daly and Jeremiah. From the first page, it was quickly established just how wary they both were about coming face-to-face for the first time in three years. Both of them were still suffering from the break-up three years ago, and neither had really moved on. Daly most certainly hadn’t. If it hadn’t been for the deeply intimate connection they once shared as Dom and sub, then her quick capitulation to Jeremiah’s dominance may have made her seem weak in the negative sense. However, it was clear that she was well aware and angry at herself for caving to him so easily. She wasn’t weak, but she was stubborn. They both were.

I haven’t come across a story quite like this before. In this D/s relationship, they had no problem trusting one another with their bodies or pleasure. But when they weren’t playing, a lack of trust was the very thing that had driven them apart. Trying to understand these characters and that odd dynamic was what kept my interest throughout. I got the feeling that they both fell for each other so suddenly and so deeply, they never got around to really understanding some base truths about each other which led to misunderstandings and not being able to communicate properly. Daly was a very black and white, right and wrong kind of woman. Jeremiah had an innate need to protect her. No matter how well-meaning Jeremiah’s attempts were to not let the ugliness of his past touch her, he also took away her choices. Daly subconsciously held his past against him which made it so much easier for her to dismiss and distrust his actions.

Their journey was sexually and emotionally intense. Every (HOT) encounter showed not only how perfect they were for one another, but it also gave them both an opportunity to grow, individually and together, if that was what they both wanted. I really liked the dual POVs which let me know where they were in their stages of healing and communication. Of course their stubbornness made several attempts to derail them, and I wanted to scream at them. The ending was very appropriate and came full circle.

The secondary characters were interesting enough to pique my interest. I would love to know more about Toby, what happened to him and what his history with Ruthie was. I look forward to reading their story as well as discovering if the Dixie Mafia will return and interfere with Jeremiah’s life. Since this was an uncorrected proof, any inconsistencies I did observe are probably irrelevant.

The Bottom Line

Too Much was an emotionally and sexually charged story about second chances and learning to love and trust again. The BDSM elements heightened their dynamics and allowed them to bare themselves on different levels while they worked on their verbal communication. The suspense portion served to make them open up faster, but it was also a predictable plot device that would test the strength of their love. I enjoyed it enough that I will be purchasing this book for my personal collection when it releases.

"But most of all, he needed to breathe the same air she did. Feel the softness of her skin against his and hear the thump-thump-thump of her heart in his ear. He needed to settle on top of her body and renew himself in her. Because everything began and ended with Daly. That was the cost of loving her. Without her, he wasn’t whole."

Too Much starts off with Daly showing up to Jeremiah’s club with a message for him from his brother. They have not seen or spoken to each other in 3 years when they broke up. From the moment they lay eyes on each other they realize that the love they feel for one another hasn’t diminished, but they both still harbor a lot of pain from the past.

At first Daly tries to deny her feelings and stay away from Jeremiah, but that proves difficult when he refuses to let her go again until Daly can no longer deny her feelings and is just as invested at making them work as Jeremiah is. Unfortunately the universe is working against them and just when they are starting to trust again something happens that brings back old insecurities and tests their strength.

I loved Daly and Jeremiah together. They both loved each other with everything that they had and if only they were more open with each other the break up would have never happened. As much as it devastated me that they spent so much time apart, it made their relationship so much stronger and added aspects to it they didn’t know they were needed.

The Sexual Chemistry between these two was explosive and very HOT! I really enjoyed this book, but I felt that Daly should have given Jeremiah more hell at the end after he got his head out of his ass and realized the mistake he made; Daly had amazing strength and I loved that she fought for her man.

I really hope Toby and Ruthie get a book! I am so curious to find out what happened between them and would love to see more of Daly and Jeremiah.

WOW and WEEEEEE! This book was a TOTAL surprise. I’m not much into BDSM themed books, but this one work really well for me. First off, the BDSM part didn't get too out of hand. The only pain that was dealt out, was a few hard spankings here and there, which the heroine wanted and loved to receive. The hero, Jeremiah, was a serious Dom, he demanded complete control over Daly when it came to sex and she LOVED every moment. Jeremiah and Daly were perfect together. Even though they had a few trust issues, their love for each other shined through. Some of the scenes between them were so romantic, I swear I sighed while reading them. They were EVERYTHING to each other and Daly told him so throughout the book. When she did, his reply was “Always".

My favorite character was Jeremiah; I’d be his sub any day. He was sexy as hell and dominating to the core. He was at times, a VERY dirty talker and at other times, he said the most romantic things.

Some of my favorite quotes:

“I’m going to fuck you so hard and so long, when this is over you won’t walk right for a week,” he grit out. “Then when you’ve begun to walk like you don’t have my cock permanently embedded in your pussy, I’m going to fuck you again, even harder, even longer. And you’ll scream Daly. You’ll scream so hard you won’t ever forget what trying to dominate me got you.”

“I’m going to love you Daly. With my mouth, my body, and my heart. You own every part of me and I’m going to give it all to you tonight. Open your eyes love. See me.”

“I need you,” she said, and her voice wavered. “You have me,” he answered. “Make me come,” she pleaded. “I will,” he vowed. “Love me,” she begged. “Always” he replied.

I have to add that he did indeed make good on his promise.

The heat level was HIGH, with LOTS of SCORCHING love scenes throughout. These scenes were VERY EROTIC, but tastefully done. They were hard, wet, sweaty and too many orgasms to count. Did these scenes turn me on? HELL YEAH they did!

There was also good suspense element that made the book even more interesting. So I’m happy to say this book was not just about the sex.

The ending was well done; we got a wonderful epilogue that left Jeremiah and Daly together and happy. I can say without a doubt that if Lea Griffith writes it, I’m reading book 2!

This book was very hot! Daly and Jeremiah have insane chemistry. Sex scenes were hot, hot, hot!!

There are BDSM scenes - so beware if you are not into that sort of thing. The scenes aren't too centered on pain though, and there are quite a few "vanilla" scenes too.

Other than the sex, it was hard for me to connect with these characters. The writing was VERY repetitive. The author said the same thing at least every other page. Made me want to start skimming.

The author tried to have this mystery/who-done-it plot happening in the background but it was very predictable.

Bottom line: hot, predictable, sexy, bdsm book.

Jeremiah he's one hot man, "you'll show me what, Day? That fine a** you've kept from me for three years?" I mean he is demanding, "you can't talk, can you, Day? You missed my heat, didn't you, baby? Tell me." He leaned down and whispered at her ear. "Did you miss my co** in your mouth? Your pu**y? Your a**?" I mean he lays things all out there, "don't. You came here, to me, last night and you gave yourself into my hands." He unlocked her legs from his waist and set her down gently. "Then you lay in my bed all night, breathing softly and looking so damn sexy I couldn't sleep, my di** was so hard." I really did enjoy reading this book.

I love this Author hard! After all she wrote two of my favourite books in the ‘No Mercy’ series. ‘Too Much’ was very sexy and commanding at times, the writing was flawless and there’s no denying the sizzling hot chemistry between Jeremiah and Daly. I have to say I do have a special place in my heart for a dominating controlling Dom and Jeremiah’s no exception. He was lush, though he needs to be taught the lesson of beneficial communication!

‘She had loved him. He hadn’t loved her enough.’

The emotional element was very strong and I completely believed in it, however, my main problem was that whilst I don’t enjoy being spoon fed by Authors, I do need to emotionally connect with a character and sadly I had a few problems with Daly. At times she shone like a diamond but then in the next breath became wishy washy and annoying. At times I couldn’t believe this was a heroine penned by Lea Griffith. In some ways I also think my issue is that this story became about the nookie and hotness factor thus negatively impacting the story as a whole. Yes it was hot and intensely sexy, I loved that, but I wanted more from Lea Griffith because she’s such a brilliant author! The crux of the story came too late and was very rushed in my opinion. There was barely any communication, background explanation nor expanded upon reason for the mystery and intrigue. I do realise that this is a very different book to her previous work, however, it missed that magic I’ve come to look forward to and almost expect from this Author. I wanted more of how Jeremiah and Daly came to be where they are in life, both individually and together.

“You have my everything because you will give me yours.”

I wanted more because it could have been so bloody good! I have to say I loved that we got both POV’s as it made it that much better and easier to understand character behaviour and lack of that all-important trust. I found Jeremiah’s back story fascinating!

“You can’t see my soul but it’s wrapped around yours. You carried it with you when you left.”

So sadly no, I didn’t love it, but I did enjoy it and would recommend this fun and sexy quick read to lovers of mild BDSM and a hot controlling Dom.

I liked this book but did not love it. It was very hot and had a lot of sexy times. I liked the mystery and suspense as well. This book was fast-paced and a pretty quick read. The reason I did not rate this higher is that I really didn't love the characters and didn't really feel a strong connection to them as a reader. I also really hate when misunderstanding and lack of communication lead to drama. Overall, I did like this book and the story but I just didn't totally connect with it.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Review Team.

Jeremiah and Daly are meant to be together, they want to be together, but trust issues tore them apart. It has been years since they were torn apart, can they work through their trust issues and get back together and stay together? You MUST read this book to find out. The chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts and so is the sex!

Characters: I instantly fell in love with Jeremiah and Daly. I could just feel the love oozing out of the book that Jeremiah had for Daly. I also fell in love with Toby, Daly’s brother and I really hope there is another book so we can hear his story.

Sex: LOTS and it is sooo hot and steamy and good!

Religious: no

Would I recommend to others: yes

More than one book in the series: I hope so, I want to hear about Toby next!

Genre: BDSM/Erotica/ Romance

Would I read more by this author: yes

**ARC** received for a honest review. Too Much is a mystery with a twist of BDSM or maybe it's the other way around. Daly & Jeremiah have been apart for 3 long years. Daly is taking a chance when she goes back to the Underground to give Jeremiah the ring his brother has left for her to deliverer. 3 long years and still feeling like it was yesterday.
What this love story goes down to is Trust. Trust in BDSM is all about trust and can duly & Jeremiah get back this after the lies and half truths of the past ? Only reading this book will tell! Enjoyed even if the mystery wasn't so mystery.

I loved The HOT , heavy , extreme, and very Emotional sex in this book. The way Lea writes it .. Its more than just sex you feel the emotion flowing though you as your reading giving you chili bumps. While I was reading I got mad at Jeremiah and wanted him to make Love to Daly then the next page He made love to Daly and it was the most sensual thing ever. The way he cared for her after Play will melt your heart. The ending was EPIC I was screaming at Jeremiah for acting Like a ASS ... and I cried for Daly it was like I could feel her pain. Lea knows how to pull you into a book and make it real.

Too Much by Lea Griffith is the first book in her All or Nothing Series. The title itself the most apt description of a novel such as this one that literally blew me away every time Jeremiah and Dalia got together. Their connection with each other is so intense that you can’t help but feel incinerated by the heat of their union and of course there is the emotional aspect to their relationship that is as deep and hard hitting.

It has been three long years since Dalia had last been touched by her Master Jeremiah. Three years since she walked away from how Jeremiah had taken her trust and heart and broken them both into pieces. A message for Jeremiah brings Dalia once again to his doorstep, this time to the BDSM club The Underground owned and operated by Jeremiah himself. While Dalia had expected the heat to hit her full force, she doesn’t comprehend just how easily she would turn to putty under Jeremiah’s masterful touch, which is exactly what happens.

While Jeremiah had always believed that he and Dalia would find their way back towards each other, he can’t help but fear that an old enemy of his is out to get him and that too through the woman who commands his heart, body and soul. Jeremiah knows how badly Dalia was hurt the last time when she walked away, but she wasn’t the only one whose soul had shattered to pieces then. And once again, Jeremiah starts cementing their relationship kiss by kiss and touch by touch; there is no submissive for him like Dalia and though he might be the dominant in their relationship, it is in reality Dalia that holds all the power over him.

Too Much is a novel that never lets up on the heat nor the emotional intensity. For readers who complain about “too many sex scenes” in a novel, this definitely won’t be your cup of tea. But for those who like BDSM themed erotic romances where the hero can practically melt you with every command, Jeremiah is definitely your man and Too Much definitely the book you ought to be reading.

Both Jeremiah and Dalia are easy to fall for; both of them having had rough childhoods, each broken in their own way finding that perfect match for each in the other. What I liked most was how the author balanced out the BDSM heavy sex scenes together with the tender “vanilla” variety ones which lent a meaning of its own to Jeremiah and Dalia’s relationship. For me, that shift and balance was what conveyed just how much Dalia meant to Jeremiah and vice versa.

I am very much looking forward to book 2 which is to come out this November; Toby and Ruthie’s story.

Recommended for those who love a whole lot of scorching sex with BDSM elements & emotionally intense stories.

Jerimiah!!!!!! Alpha Male!! what is not to like!! This was an emotional packed read!!! The story and the characters are strong and crazy HOT!! The scenes in this read were Steamy!! I enjoyed these characters and everything they went through to be together. I think, maybe, I would have liked a scene from the three years prior. To feel their emotional connection. It is so deep and it seemed that it was MORE deep then three years prior. Toby and Dalia are siblings who ended up on two sides of the tracks. Her life and his life took a turn when her and Jerimiah broke up. Toby being Jerimiah's BFF. The problems they had were no small ones to overcome and years later she has seen the error in her walking away. Did that change the fact that she still would have left him??

Jerimiah has had a hell of a life and is stronger for it. Raising his two siblings from the time he wa 12 was not easy. Jerimiah and Dalia have a special connection and no one has ever replaced him in her mind and heart. There is a lot at stake in this read and my emotions were one of them. I enjoy reads where I can feel the characters pain. I caught myself shaking my head and saying "Jerimiah what the hell are you thanking...no!" Really good read and didn't find any part I did not like. I enjoyed this read and should probably give it a 5 stars...huh ...I just might!!!

I received this ARC from the author via Net Galley for my honest review. Thank You, Net Galley.

Amazing!!!!! Daly Edwards is my hero. I loved her character as a strong, independent woman who goes after what she wants. She's not some whiney damsel in distress in constant need of rescuing. She can definitely take care of herself. The only thing she is missing is her other half. She walked away three years ago from Jeremiah, and now she's wondering if she can or should do it again. Jeremiah - As a 12 year old abandoned by his parents and left to take care of 2 younger siblings, he had no choice but to turn to the streets & get involved in illegal activity to support what was left of his family and doing what he had to, to survive and stay out of the system. For Daly, she can't help but assume the worst based on his past. It's too easy to give him her body, her submission, her mind, but can can give him EVERYTHING and trust that he is a different man than how he grew up. Can she let him back in and give him her trust this time or will she continue to guard her heart. Daly walked away from him once, Jeremiah is determined to not let her go again. An intense, erotic story of pleasure, pain, heartbreak, and forgiveness. Loved every minute of it!!!!!!!

Received ARC from NetGalley for honest review.

I really enjoyed this book, I'm looking forward to other books by this author.

Jeremiah and Daly have had a love story since she was 16 and he was her brother's best friend and 21.

I really don't want to give a lot away since I really liked this book and want other people to enjoy it like I did.

The bedroom scenes were very steamy. I enjoyed the way the author had them interact with each other in the bedroom, it wasn't all BSDM sometimes they just needed each other. I liked how all the characters interacted with each other.

I can't wait until Toby and Ruthie's story.

"You can't see my soul but it's wrapped around yours. You carried it with you when you left." - Jeremiah

"Fair enough. Because when I earn those pieces, it means I will have all of you."

He had dominated her, but in the end it was always Copeland who was dominated by her submission.

Day got sent Jeremiah's brother's ring at her doorstep so she knew she had to get the ring to Jeremiah. They hadn't seen each other in three years because they had bad communication and trust issues, so when they get thrown together this way all hell breaks loose for them as their emotions go haywire. They had deep feelings for each other before and that didn't change in the three years they were apart. They have both changed and are not the same people they were before and sometimes they learned from their past mistakes and sometimes they didn't.

I loved Jeremiah and Day's relationship when it was good. He was her Dom and she couldn't help but submit to him no matter how hard she tried. There were so many hot scenes and the sex was a major part of this book. I enjoyed it but I didn't feel like they communicated much, Jeremiah would disappear for days without a word, he'd come back and couldn't say what was going on. I don't feel like there was a big climax in the story, no pun intended lol. The problem with the ring got resolved and that's it.

I did enjoy the ending, it was so cute and unexpected. I felt like their love could withstand anything. I love the dom/sub setting, I don't read that very often, there are so many variations of that world and I've read so little of it that it's always intriguing to me.

This story was written in dual POVs and I love that, knowing what's going on from both sides. I enjoyed it and recommend it, you're in for a sexy and steamy read.

I'm not really where to start with this book. I enjoy erotic lit and I was excited to start reading Too Much by Lea Griffith. The writing style itself was good an the author grabbed me in the first few paragraphs which I loved. Generally I find when a book grabs me right off the bat it will hold my attention till the end, however I struggled a bit to get to the end.

Lea Griffith writes very steamy sex scenes that her readers will no doubt enjoy. Very creative and very, very hot! I enjoyed her characters and the depth that they had. The back stories for each character were well written and added some much to the story that I really liked them all and found myself hoping for a story for Ruthie and Toby.

Daly and Jeremiah’s angst filled past was the main focus of the book. After being burned by Jeremiah 3 years earlier, Daly re-enters his life and is suddenly back where she left off, struggling with trust issues.

I would give this book a 3.5 rating if half stars were an option. I did enjoy it, I liked the characters and the relationship between Jeremiah and Daly. I should add too that the book is loaded with steamy sex that any fan of erotica will enjoy. That being said there were a few things that I think need to be tweaked.

I found parts of the book to be quite repetitive. I felt like Jeremiah and Daly had the same relationship conversation over and over throughout the book. I understand that they were working through trust issues but by the time I hit 90% I felt like they were talking in circles and really just repeating the same points.

There were a lot of times where Jeremiah “bit out” words. He also “ground out” a lot of words too. Daly “bit “and “ground” frequently as well. A few more descriptive words would have made this story better.

I found there were several points where the author abused the lowly period to emphasize what the characters were saying . “You. Are. Mine.” and “I. Don’t. Care.”. I am all about using punctuation for this purpose but I felt like this technique was really over used. Every once in a while is fine for me but overall it adds to the point about parts of this book being repetitive.

The final thing I wanted to mention was the storyline that actually brought Daly didn’t really play a huge part of the storyline and really was only explained at 89% of the way through and really didn’t seem to be that solid.

Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes. Overall it’s a fun read, which is what I am looking for when I read erotic books.

Daly Edwards, being a strong and independent woman finally gets her life together and has a great job. When she finds a ring on her doorstep she knows she has to face the one person she never wanted to see again, and the only place to find him was at his BDSM club.

“When you baited Jeremiah Copeland, intentionally or not, he reacted with the single-minded intensity of a lion on the hunt.”

Jeremiah Copeland is a very hot man but has lived in hell for three years waiting for the love of his life to return to him. He finally lives a criminal-free life and is only missing one thing…Daly.

Jeremiah and Daly have a long history and the only thing that came between them was Daly’s lack of trust. When Daly must face him again the flames between them instantly ignite. Jeremiah being her former Dom knows how to get her back into bed but he has a very hard time getting her to surrender her heart fully to him again. He is unable to say the three words she wants to hear, and Daly is unable to fully trust him again, but the one thing they can do right is play their little game with each other.

“Rules are naught between us. You have my everything because you will give me yours.”

When I read the description of this book I could not wait to start reading it. All I have to say was I was not disappointed. The feelings between Jeremiah and Daly are just as intense as their Dom and Sub play. Daly can go from crying to downright pissed in seconds flat. This book made me laugh at times when I needed it and emotional at the same time. Overall, I think this is a great read for anyone that enjoys a great Dom that is head over heels for a smartass submissive that is not afraid to stand up for herself.

Please tell me the next book will be written for Toby!

My Favorite Moment: One of my favorite moments was when Jeremiah demands Daly to return to the club. Toby must escort her to the one place that Jeremiah built specifically for her.

“”He spared not one dime, Daly,” Toby said in a deep voice filled with …regret.

She wondered at his tone, the reason behind his regret, and her gaze sliced to him. He looked down again. She followed his action and her knees weakened.”

My Favorite Character: I love when Daly gets fed up with Jeremiah and her brother Toby breaking into her house.

“”It’s not breaking and entering if –”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, if you have a key.” she returned in frustration.”

4,5 stars!
The writing, people! The. Writing! It blew me away from the very first page! And I'm a bit at a loss for words when it comes to describing how much I loved everything about this book! The title is quite an appropriate description: too much!

I was held captivated by the characters, not only Daly and Jeremiah and their off the charts emotional and complicated story but also by secondary characters like Toby and David. I was intrigued by the story lines, not only the love story that was so hot and emotionally charged I needed breaks in between reading, but also the plot involving Jeremiah's brother, past and present.

Leah Griffith allowed me a journey deep into the hearts of two characters and gave me everything I want in an erotic romance: emotional depth and scorching heat.

Memorable Scene:
- the one with the wine > so so so hot!
- the one with the security closet at the fundraiser > *fans self*
- the one with the breakfast and the car ride > on fire!

Favorite Quotes:
He was behind her before the notes of his voice dropped from the air. His heat sank into her skin. His smell wrapped around her throat and squeezed.

"I'm going to fuck you so hard and so long when his is over you won't walk right for a week," he grit out. "Then when you've begun to walk like you don't have my cock permanently embedded in your pussy, I'm going to fuck you again, even harder, even longer. And you'll scream, Day. You'll scream so hard you won't ever forget what trying to dominate me got you."

"That I would kill for you should come as no shock. I've done much worse. But her right now, I would make you fly, Daly. Hand yourself over to me, every piece, and let me cherish you."

"Look, Glo, I'm about to turn around," she said so softly that her pain-in-the-neck friend leaned closer. "When I do you'll notice my ass. What I want you to do before I walk away is bend over and kiss it, okay?" She nodded and smiled sweetly. "Okay, here we go..."
She turned, and Gloria swatted her ass and guffawed. "Bitch," she said, but her tone was so good-natured Daly couldn't be mad.
Daly snickered. " It's a great ass, though. Made just for kissing. You sure?"

"It's only ever you, Day. My beginning and my end, my everything."

His eyes burned. "You are my everything, Daly Edwards. Everything I am belongs to you. You took me apart last night and put me back together. For the rest of my life I'll do what ever is needed to kee you safe inside my soul. Because I love you, though that word is so pale in comparison to how my heart burns for you."

3 stars!
Erotic Romance
Release date: June 10, 2014

ABOUT THE BOOK:

In Lea Griffith’s Loveswept debut, a novel that’s perfect for erotic romance readers, two lovers who have shared exquisite pain and unforgettable bliss find solace back in each other’s arms.

Jeremiah Copeland and Daly Edwards have a history. Even though he grew up a criminal struggling to care for two younger siblings, and she’s the pampered daughter of a power-hungry senator, they formed a bond that nothing could break. Only a lack of trust ripped them apart.

Seven years later, Daly has reason to believe that Jeremiah’s brother is in trouble. His command is that she return her heart—and he will make her obey.

Too Much is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

MY REVIEW:

I enjoyed the opening to this book, thought the writing was very well done, but for some reason, the characters I just didn’t get. Don’t get me wrong, their chemistry was strong, their actions palpable, but all they seemed to do was have sex. Not talk, not connect in any other way.

I’m no reader to shy away from erotica scenes, but in this it almost seemed to overpower everything else. I wish I would have had a chance to really get to know them but by the end of the book, I was more confused than ever. I gave it three stars specifically for this reason: because I didn’t understand what motivated their actions, why they couldn’t think outside the bedroom, and really work on the real issue. The trust aspect didn’t seem to get fixed, but the heroine seemed almost too weak to think outside of having sex.

Now, it may not have been my cup of tea, but I have seen some success with other readers. It’s gripping with sexual tension, and while the dom/sub relationship could be confusing in this read, it was still a hot aspect that made me grip the pages of the book tighter.

I say give it a shot, pick up a copy, and take a look into this dark and gritty novel in order to uncover a new world. You may find, you just might like it.

This is the first book I've read by Lea Griffith and the first in her new All or Nothing series. It feels like it is a standalone book with a HEA conclusion for the two main characters, Jeremiah Copeland and Daly Edwards. It's about 264 pages and told in alternating viewpoints between Daly and Jeremiah.

The author did a great job with creating tension throughout the story. I really fell in love with both of these characters, their past struggles and felt the passion they had for each other. She developed each character beautifully to draw the reader into her story and keep me turning the pages. I liked that we watched Daly come to realize what really bothered her three years ago when she walked away and how much she had grown and developed by the end of this story. I think the author has great talent in writing the "mystery" part of the story and would like to read more books by her.

The story was full of tension and exciting unknowns as to who was behind the blackmail and why. I found I wanted more of this in the book. Although I like erotic books, I found that most of the BDSM scenes (and there are many) included pages of details as to how they felt or were struggling with their emotions (which were always the same) and not so much the act of what they were doing. I found myself anxious to get the scene over with so we can get back to the story. The story itself was incredibly intriguing and what kept me turning page after page.

My only other struggle with the story was the order in which the past was being revealed. It wasn't until about mid-way through the book we finally had most of the picture of what happened and that kept me from being fully invested in the two characters and caring that they made it through their new struggle together. Once I understood what happened years before, I was on board, but before that I was frustrated.

I imagine the next story will be about Daly's brother and Jeremiah's best friend/right hand man, Toby Edwards, and Jeremiah's sister (and Daly's friend), Ruthie Copeland. Although I don't believe Detective Savannah "Savvy" was written so the reader would like her (I sure wanted to smack her!), I wouldn't mind redeeming her a little with a story of her own. Looking forward to the next story in this series!

There is just so much that I loved about this book.
First and foremost was this man with the way with words.
Seriously between the sweet and the dirty talk,
I just wanted him to keep the words flowing.

"You are my everything, Daly Edwards. Everything I am belongs to you. You took me apart last night and put me back together. For the rest of my life I'll do whatever is needed to keep you safe inside my soul. Because I love you. thought that word is so pale in comparison to how my heart burns for you."

Oh. My. Jeremiah.

Daly and Jeremiah are being reunited by the same thing that tore them apart - a message from his brother via ring left for Daly. He is in trouble and he's brought it to Daly's doorstep. When Jeremiah won't taker her calls Daly has to relay the message in person which brings these lovers face to face for the first time in three years. Daly is overwhelmed with the memory of yesterday and the heartache of today and makes a run for it. This moment has the opposite effect on Jeremiah and he makes up his mind that he won't be without her anymore. What we find out from the beginning is that Jeremiah isn't only her lover, but also her Dom. They share some scorching hot scenes together where Jeremiah gets his bossy on. I'm talking sizzling. I think what makes it so much more it that their connection goes way beyond a physical one. They are soul mates. As they are reconnecting phycially, they are also working through the issues they have and growing closer in the process. There are a few scary moments that Daly's safety is an issue and both make wrong choices to protect the other. Daly's daddy also tries to create some problems and almost succeeds, but Daly's quite the fighter for her man and her punches are quite unique. Daly and Jeremiah are definitely one of my favorite book couples. I so enjoyed reading their love story.

I give Too Much 5 hearts!
