I'm not Catholic but the selection of stories and artwork in this children's bible is really good. Everything was age appropriate and understandable for my four year old. I especially liked that after each story there was a "God's Blessing" section that easily helped sum up the lesson we could learn from and a short prayer we could pray together. Very simple, but effective.

I'm not Catholic but I am Christian. I bought this book for the beautiful illustrations. I especially like the one of Sarah laughing when she learns that God is going to finally grant her desire for a child.

2.5 ⭐️ maybe i just didn’t like this bc it was a kids book but i also hated how the author made god sound bad in some of the stories in the way she depicted how he tested certain people etc. like to a kid that could make them be like “omg god’s mean” ykwim
