He makes hardened criminals tremble in fear. But behind closed doors, he trembles only for me.
Don Dante Fera has carved his empire from flesh and bone, ruling the city with an iron fist stained crimson. But, behind closed doors, the notorious kingpin craves something entirely different. He needs a woman strong enough to make him beg.
Danica Matthews is just trying to survive another shift at her dead-end restaurant job. Until one bullet-riddled night turns her ordinary life into a deadly game. She should be terrified of the monster who nearly got her killed. Instead, she can't stop thinking about the hunger in his eyes when she tells him to kneel.
By day, men beg for their lives before him. By night, he begs on his knees for me.
In a world built on power, submission might be the deadliest desire of all.
A dark(ish) mafia romance where SHE holds the power and HE begs to submit. Features: age gap, power exchange, queer characters, polyamorous elements, and a whole world of forbidden desires. HFN guaranteed.
**This book contains adult themes and has a lengthy TW/CW list. If you’re uncertain if this one is for you, check out the author’s website for the full list.
M Kay Noir is a romance author and journalist obsessed with moments of desire.
Most of Kay's stories are dark(ish), kinky, queer-friendly, polyamorous undertakings with neurotic characters who are often their own worst enemies. If you expect any regard for traditional gender roles or power dynamics, you will be disappointed.
"I like my female characters dominant... ...And my MMCs on their knees."
Born and bred in South Africa, Kay has been penning steamy moments for more than 15 years now, from fanfics to ghostwriting and now, finally, her own stories. Her day job also involves a lot of writing, albeit a different kind—mostly sustainability things.
When she’s not writing (or reading), she enjoys making her husband look at yet another sunset or going to a live music show.
This is the type of book that would probably have been better in "movie form" than in a book. Now, remove the smut part because I am not talking about PORN, so that's not exactly what I'm talking about...
Our FMC Danica is stepping in as a waitress at the restaurant she works at when a mafia don (But don't call him Mafia or a Don because he will ALWAYS deny it....) decides to dine there for his baby brother's birthday. Sometime during the dinner, a shoot-out from a rival mafia family occurs and Danica finds herself in the middle. Rattled she goes home and soon Dante, our Don-not-Don rocks up on her doorstep...and they then have sexy fun times with her maybe dominating him a little...
Anyway, why do I say this would be better than a movie? Movies have this very unique ability that they are excellent at showing you what is going on. And because there is a very limited amount of time in which to tell a story, (normally only 90minutes) a lot of aspects like thoughts, feelings, and backstory; are just accepted and taken for fact because it is stated. Movies don't always have time to go back and physically show you that in the plot or spell it out in as much detail as a book can. There are just certain intrinsic things that you accept without question. An example: If someone tells you that a person is a bad man because of everything they've done in the past, you're just going to believe it because you can't always see those flashbacks and terrible things being done.
Now, books, which are typically more meant to be "tell" not "show" because you're physically telling a story through words, can suffer from a problem where if you just tell and don't show in terms of the writing, it can make a story feel very flat and then turns into one of my pet peeves. THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN in a MOVIE...
Now I believe this book was originally a SHORTER novella, which was then expanded a little bit more to make it more deluxe and build into the people's backstories. But the traces of the "quick" read that doesn't go into too much detail are still there, with remnants of lack of depth still present. Multiple times I felt like I was told to just believe something because "they said they are like this" that I have to believe it. So if we look at Dante - he is meant to be this mafia boss who has done unspeakable things and is a bad man and is such a big alpha on the outside, but we never really see him in this light. Am I just meant to believe that because I'm told it. Besides shooting a few people I didn't see him do anything bad. Now in a movie, I would have just accepted this. In the book, I want to see him be awful. I want to see why he has this reputation and I wasn't shown it. All I saw was a man who behind doors likes a woman to be a little dominant in bed.
BUT - if I am being honest. I stayed for the spice and smut. It was good, it was delicious and I enjoyed it. I do question how big her boobs are and if that size is comfortable, but I am happy these two found each other and were able to live our their best fantasies in the bedroom.
The tropes present: ▶ Femdom Awakening ▶ FemdomXSub ▶ Spicy Quick Read ▶ Age Gap ▶ Mafia Vibes ▶ Touch Her and Die ▶ BDSM Elements
Overall, if you want a quick - spicy fix with a Femdom this might just scratch your itch!
Thank you so much M. Kay Noir for my gifted copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own
This started off as a really good story but then Dante switched from being a strong Alpha Capo into a sub and I just couldn’t get past that unfortunately. I think a character should stay true to their personality, yes they can soften or change but this was a complete opposite for this man’s character
I didn’t mean to fall for the villain. He nearly got me killed the night we met. I should run away from this walking red flag. Why can’t I stop thinking about the Kingpin on his knees?
What an amazing Novella read! Danica was able to bring out a side of Dante that he usually kept hidden, and something they both needed to explore deeper. Mafia Boss by day, Submissive by night - this dynamic was portrayed so well, and written in such a relatable manner.
Tropes: - Mafia Romance - Age gap - Femdom/Sub - Touch her and d!e - Praise k!nk
My first M. Kay Noir book and my first novella. I just want to start out by saying I feel like this story was the perfect length it was'nt to long or too short. I have also never read anything where the female is the one who is dominating in the bedroom however Danica does a fantastic job & it may just be a new k!nk of mine lol😂🤭. This opposites attract mafia romance novella really pulled me in and had me stuck like glue the moment I picked it up!
P.S Make sure you have a hand available because it will get steamyy if you know what I mean... 😰😰😂💋
I’ve read the first (shorter) version of Dante and Danica’s story before, so I was so excited to get a more in depth look at their relationship!
The revamped version of Beg Me Please gives us all the submissive mafia man deliciousness from the original with more character development and a richer plot.
Spicy....... I read this book in one day. I had to take a slight break to go to work, but hopped back into it. Who knew that Dante would be into being a submissive and developed a praise kink. I guess when you are in charge of the family business, it is his release. I hope to learn more about the marks on his back that are intertwined by his tattoo. Danica has no fear. A firecracker that has already been through some traumatic experiences. Her parents don't help either. I hope we learn about her background as well along with her scar on the back (interesting that Dante and Danica both have scars on their back). It seems fitting that she easily steps into the Dom role. Will Danica and Dante be together in the long hall? I hope that M. Kay Noir lets us know.
🖤 Super spicy novella 💋 Kink exploration 🖤 Age gap 💋 Mafia 🖤 Femdom x Sub 💋 Touch her and 💀
Danica & Dante 🥵😮💨, This book was a new one for me. I'm used to reading about dominant men in the bedroom. But LOVED the way Danica took control. Because that's what she needed. I love the way Dante craved a moment of vulnerability and needed to let someone else take the lead. Danica needed to have a chance to be in control. And they perfectly meshed together.
This is how you do a short and spicy novella. The mafia element was nicely done and wasn’t an overbearing factor of the story but very much still there. Sometimes with novellas authors try and cram in too many tropes and it gets messy, but Kay has the ideal balance between everything to deliver the story needed while still staying true to the tropes listed, I was impressed.
I really liked the introduction to a slightly different kink dynamic that we usually see in romance books. We all love a strong FMC and Danica had this in spades!! I can’t wait to read more from Kay in the future. So many plot lines I wanted to know more about. And because of the gaps, it seemed like strange jumps in dialogue. I am probably strange but I’d rather read someone's thoughts on a car ride to their destination, than for the chapter opening up at said location. I want to know more about Danica’s scar on her back...
“Either way, thanks for saving my ass back there-again” “its an ass worth saving”
“I love how everyone thinks I’m just the arm-candy of the season, when in fact I’m the one in charge.”
“There is something so addictive about turning the head of the Fera family into a whimpering little boy, begging at my feet.”
I love a mafia book so when I saw this one on Facebook I thought I would give it a try.
I probably should have paid more attention to the description as I didn’t notice it was a femdom book. Not that I’m complaining I had never read one before but I think I will be again.
It was a nice change the especially since Danica is a good bit younger than Dante.
It was good and I probably should have given myself more time to read it but I was ill and forgot and ended up skim reading it which I hate to do to get it done. Which isn’t fair in the author so I will re-read it again soon and update my review asap.
I will start out by saying this was my first femdom read and it was not for me. However, this review isn’t about me. Danica and Dante are likeable characters. We get to witness a side of Dante that only Danica was able to bring out of him. It was an easy read, very much spice, a lot to be determined in future books, which is exactly what I believe the author intended. Noir has a talent for luring you in and giving it to you full force! I would recommend this book to anyone who loves lots of spice, femdom, some violence, age gap, mafia.
Beg Me Please is a short and spicy novella about Danica, a 24 year old college student living at home, and Dante, a 43 year old mafia leader. And when I say it's spicy, it's spicyyyy. There's a lot packed in this novella. It was fast-paced and this was the largest age gap I read but although the ages were mentioned, the characters didn't make their age difference a huge deal and their relationship dynamic was very interesting. Danica is bold and daring, constantly pushing Dante's boundaries. Dante seems like such a dark, broody guy at first but can't help falling fast and hard for Danica. Overall, Beg Me Please was a easy, spicy, quick read and I recommend it to anyone wanting to ease in to kinky romance.
*Thank you to the author, M. Kay Noir, for an e-ARC in exchange for my honest review!
This was definitely an interesting read. The chemistry between Danica & Don Fera is unmistakable and the spice is definitely piping hot. Their relationship dynamic came as a shock to me and I definitely did not expect it. Based on the way he talks and thinks about them & her it’s obvious he is in love and it was the best thing that has happened to him. This was an arc read so I was excited to get around to it. Some of the tropes include: mafia, impact play, femme dom, touch her & perish. If you're looking for something quick (under 200 pages) with spice and some very interesting twists give this a try.

This book was so good I read it in one sitting. I had read Danica’s Revenge when it first came out so getting to see how Dante and Danica came to be was amazing. That is one hot as heck couple. Danica is so perfect for what Dante needs and Dante is such a good boy. I loved seeing them come together and see how their unconventional dynamic came to be. It is steamy as a volcano and I loved every second of it!!
At first i really thought it would be just like any mafia romance coz i forgot about the tropes. I never thought i would love it! It’s my first time reading something like this.
Danica is a stuggling student and a full time employee. Sadly for her, Dante made a quite impactful first meeting while she was at work and Dante celebrating his younger brothers birthday. Tye days that follows made them start their way to their dynamics. A walking red flag but on his knees🤭 I wish I’ll still be able to arc for this author. Now I’m interested in her other works.
If i was not in pain ( migraine + fever) i would have finished this on time😣 I’m sorry.

“Beg Me Please” by M Kay Noir is an electrifying twist on the classic mafia romance, challenging traditional gender roles and power dynamics within the genre. This novella features Don Dante Fera, a formidable 43-year-old kingpin whose mere presence sends shivers down spines—except for Danica Matthews, a 24-year-old woman who is not just unafraid, but is the only one capable of making Dante's knees weak.
The book's premise hinges on an unconventional power exchange: while Dante is accustomed to being in control, it is Danica who ultimately commands the narrative. Their relationship subverts typical expectations as Danica's journey towards discovering her dominant side unfolds against the gritty, high-stakes backdrop of the mafia world. This role reversal breathes fresh life into the mafia romance trope, making the book a standout read.
One of the most compelling aspects of the book is its exploration of the characters' evolving dynamic. The chemistry between Dante and Danica is palpable, with their interactions oscillating between tension and passion. The development of their relationship—from a seemingly forced kidnapping to a consensual, pleasure-centered partnership—is both natural and intense, highlighting the accidental yet inevitable progression of their kinky dynamic.
Dante's character is particularly well-crafted; his willingness to submit, despite his dominant public persona, adds depth and vulnerability to his portrayal. Danica's transformation from a seemingly ordinary woman to a commanding figure who can bring a powerful man to his knees is equally fascinating. The author skillfully navigates the complexities of their relationship, ensuring that both characters are multidimensional and relatable.
“Beg Me Please” is not just a romance; it is a story of empowerment, trust, and the exploration of desire. The age gap between the protagonists adds another layer of intrigue, challenging societal norms and expectations. The narrative is brisk and engaging, with just the right balance of steamy scenes and emotional development.
In conclusion, “Beg Me Please” is a captivating story that redefines the mafia romance genre. It is a must-read for those looking for a story that combines intensity, passion, and a refreshing take on power dynamics. The characters are memorable, the plot is exhilarating, and the romance is both unconventional and deeply satisfying. This book will leave readers eagerly anticipating more from the author.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Keep this "book" 300 feet away from me at ALL times, WHAT was this.. Now. I am NOT one to shame peoples kinks.. but this book felt like a JOKE. I was LAUGING so hard when I do not think that was the intentions of this book.. and I'm SO upset by this cause I was so excited to read a book with this dynamic.. I was mislead..
Also besides it not being my cup of tea.. this didn't even feel like a book... this felt like someone asked their friend -who read a book like this two years ago- for a quick summary and all their friend could remember was the smut... CAUSE THATS ALL THERE IS. No plot, No friendships, No meaningful conversations, NO NOTHING
Sorry, wont be reading the other books, will be keeping this SO VERY far away from me..
Beg Me Please is book 1 in the Queens & Knights series and what a great start! It is so refreshing reading a mafia themed book where the woman holds all the power! There is plenty of menacing mafia madness, a feisty heroine coming into her own and a hero that definitely grabs your attention just like the heroine has grabbed his by the family jewels!
I am loving this series so far. I can’t wait to read what happens next and I will be immediately jumping into the next book in the series, Danica’s Revenge!
To the outside world, I am just a petite woman standing alongside a very powerful man...If they only knew that mere hours earlier I had the Don crawling on the floor, n@ked, begging me to let him c0me.

Reading this was refreshing. Most romances have the man as the dominant/Dom partner and the woman as the submissive one. Not this story. Danica is the one who calls the shots. She's a woman who speaks her mind and marches to beat of her own drum. Dante brings out her Domme side, a side Danica never really explored before.
I think I needed to read about a fmc like Danica. I've read a good portion of romances where the fmc is an inexperienced, good girl that the mmc wants to possess or corrupt. And I been wanting something different. Danica is a good woman, but she has an inner fire, sexual past and k!nky side I found interesting.
Dante is a dangerous man. His type of character is usually the dominant, alpha type. So it was great to read about a powerful man like Dante on his knees for Danica. I liked seeing his submissive side and his vulnerability. I enjoyed reading about the two navigate their relationship dynamic and explore their kinks.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I'm grateful to the author for giving me the opportunity to ARC read this book.
I can't praise how well this author talks about the sub and dom fetish in this book It's respectful and informative without feeling like it's forced.
I did find some parts of the sorry mixed up I.e was she working there for a job, a favour to her mum or a favour for a friend. Did he not have sex, or did it with people that lusted selfishly over him, or just paid for it.
I really enjoyed this book. Danica and Dante were such amazing characters. I really liked the fact that Dante was not the typical Mafia Family Don and it had me intrigued. I loved the fact that Danica was an amazing female character who took could take control. The book had such a good storyline that had great action and spice. I would recommend checking trigger warnings before reading because it might not be for everyone. I would definitely recommend.
I think the story was good. It just felt kind of rushed and more novella-esque. I liked the storyline and the characters and the whole idea. There could have been more depth and character building. The spicy parts were definitely intriguing and detailed. The rest of the book could use the same attention to detail. It was the first book in a series so maybe that’ll come in the later books. I would continue reading the series.
This was not what I expected but by GOD, I was NOT disappointed at all! I don't want to give anything away but the persona of tough mafia man gives you a certain vision as to how you expect this to go... but the way it actually goes, WOWEE!!! All I can say is ENJOY this book - enjoy the MMC and FMC's relationship developement, enjoy the spice, just ENJOY!!
BDSM FEMDOM awakening DOMMEvsSUB AGE GAP MAFIA VIBES TOUCH HER AND D!E
super spicy novella... Dante is a capo... at first he is an alpha who turns into the sub of the story .. Danica is able to make him comfortable enough to allow his inner sub to bubble to the surface. I hope we learn more about the scars that cover both of their backs
Beg For Me Deluxe Edition mafia, femdom x sub romance. It follows the story of Danica a 24 year old college student and Dante a 43 year old mafia leader.
This was a fun read, being a novella it was a quick read but is jammed full of spice and the power exchange kept me entertained. I usually read stories with dominant MMCs (in the sheets) but this was a refreshing change, I enjoyed the characters and story. This was the deluxe edition a revamped version of the original, I found this one to be the ideal length, not to short and not long, it was fast paced but not rushed if that makes sense.
Overall this was a good read and I recommend to those who enjoy mafia romance with a reverse power dynamic.
