I really enjoy this series. I wouldn't normally give this a full 5 stars (at least 4 though, I did really like it), but I know how important they are to the algorithm and I really want Kaye Ng to keep writing books so I'll do my part to ensure she's continuing to get solid reviews that help sell books.
One issue that I continue to have is how many words Brenna Larsen continues to mispronounce. This has been an issue with a lot of the more "independent" books I listen to. Not sure who's at fault here, but I'd guess it's something the producer/director should be picking up during recording.

Another romp of a read
One of the marks of a good book in my opinion is that I keep finding reasons to pick it back up and read more. This book met that criterion in spades. It continues with the same humorous sneering and disdain from Juliette that have pulled me through to the tenth book in the series. I’ll be back for the eleventh

SS+
For 10 books I've been promised an SS+ rank adventurer. Yet, to my utter dismay, that has not been delivered! There was an F rank adventurer. and a D. Then a C, B, and A. But never an SS+. I demand an SS+ adventurer. And I want it now!

Great stories follow an arc, all arcs come to an end. Stories that just manner on and on, relying on a humorous quirk, get very old eventually. This series has hit the wall.
