Marble Falls, Texas is where I grew up, but I left to chase my dreams. Unfortunately, my fiancée didn’t follow me to Oregon, and the relationship failed. When my dream turned into a nightmare, the Soulless Kings MC became my family, and now, more than ever, they’re my life.
Family obligations brought me back to Texas, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. With my mom barely recognizing me most of the time, my chosen brothers are all I have. But I can’t keep up with her care on my own, so I hire the one person I trust with my mom even if it means risking my sanity.
Ember…
I‘ve always wanted to be a nurse, and caring for the elderly is a passion of mine. My life’s mission is to provide comfort to those whose family has abandoned them in their time of need. I’m good at what I do and count myself lucky to be able to do it.
Then he hires me to care for his mom, and as much as I want to turn down the job, I can’t. There was a time his family would’ve been my own, but life had other plans. Now that we’re in each other’s lives again, I’m not sure I’ll be strong enough to walk away again when the time comes.
Dreams tore them apart, life brought them back together, and danger lurks in the shadows. CanGhost and Ember survive the storm, let alone each other?

Parker/Ghost went from being a police office to the SAR of this MC and during this time the love of his life that he lost all those years ago comes back into his life again. Ember is a nurse who takes care of those in need and it so happens that Ghost is in need of her services…for his mother who is suffering from Alzheimer’s. Their past is not left in the past and I loved watching them navigate through all of their feelings.
The club action was suspenseful and I love how the brothers all have each other’s backs. It was also great seeing how this big bad biker treated his ailing mother. This is another great read by this author and I always love to see what she has coming next.
GHOST is the third instalment in Andi Rhodes’ contemporary adult SOULLESS KINGS MC: MARBLE FALLS TX dark, erotic, MC romance series, a spin off from the author’s SOULLESS KING MC series. This is MC member Parker ‘Ghost’ West, and nurse Ember Tamlin’s story line. GHOST can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous storylines is revealed where necessary.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Ember and Ghost) GHOST follows the rekindling relationship between MC member Parker ‘Ghost’ West, and nurse Ember Tamlin. Approximately fifteen years earlier, Parker West and Ember Tamlin made plans for the future, including preparing for a wedding that would never take place. Fast forward to present day, Ghost’s mother is losing her battle with Alzheimer’s disease, and several nurses have already tried and failed. As a final resort, Ghost calls in a favor from his club president but never expects to come face to face with the woman who destroyed his heart. Ember Tamlin watched as the man she loved walked away without looking back but their lives are about to come full circle when Ember is contracted to take care of a woman she once called mom but all is not well in Marble Falls, and Ember and Mrs. West will become pawns in a war between the Soulless Kings MC and the Cartel.
The world building focuses on the second rebuilding relationship as Ember and Ghost must come to terms with what happened and why. As Ghost struggles with his mother’s deteriorating health, the MC is pulled into a war not of their making.
The relationship between Ember and Ghost is one of second chances, a relationship destroyed by a lack of communication and a broken heart.Ghost battles between head and heart accepting the reappearance of the woman he once loved, as Ember assures Ghost she is only helping his mother, and nothing else. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
The secondary and supporting characters are energetic and colorful. We are reintroduced to Addison and Crow, Journey and Wren, Poker, and several MC members, as well as Ghost’s mother Mrs. West.
GHOST is a story of heart break and loss, power and control, family and relationships, forgiveness and love. The fast paced premise is dramatic, captivating and entertaining; the characters are determined, spirited and sassy; the romance is fated and edgy.

Ghost is the third book in Soulless Kings MC: Marble Falls, TX. This book offers a thrilling and captivating combination of heart-wrenching emotions, romance, and suspense, keeping readers on the edge of their seats until the end. Fast-paced, addictive story with unexpected twists and surprises. Ghost is an unputdownable page-turner filled with heartwarming moments, danger, tension, and emotional turmoil.
Ghost left his hometown after high school to pursue a career in law enforcement. He now serves as Sergeant-at-Arms for the Soulless Kings MC. Fifteen years later, he returns home due to family obligations. Ghost's mom requires care, and he hires Ember, a nurse who has a complicated past with him. Ember's dream has always been to become nurse and to take care of people. The attraction between them is undeniable; and they have a strong bond even through hurt and their evident issues. Ghost and Ember's build up was skillfully written. With danger surrounding them, an unknown future, and sizzling chemistry, they must figure out how to work together and how to forgive. This book evokes a range of emotions making it a delightful read.
Another phenomenal addition with harrowing twists and turns, romantic moments, and a character-driven storyline.
As Andi Rhodes always reminds us, she doesn’t shy away from emotionally charged topics, and Ghost is no exception. While she never spoils a story, we already knew a little about why Ghost returned to Marble Falls—his mother has Alzheimer’s. But nothing could have prepared me for just how deeply this story would hit.
This book is both heart-wrenching and heartfelt, especially when we meet Ember—Ghost’s ex-fiancée. Now a full-time nurse specializing in Alzheimer’s care, she never expected her next job offer to change everything. When her last job ends, she accepts a new role, only to discover that her new patient is none other than Ghost’s mother—the mother of the man she has never gotten over.
But for Ghost and Ember to have a future, they must revisit the past and finally forgive. They may not have been ready the first time around, but this time is their time. With enemies lurking in the shadows and past wounds still fresh, their second chance at love is breathtaking to watch. Ember’s devotion and patience with Ghost’s mother left a lump in my throat, and Rhodes portrays the realities of Alzheimer’s with such authenticity—showing both the good and the heartbreaking moments—with deep respect.
Yet danger is creeping ever closer, threatening everything Ghost holds dear. And when it comes calling close to home, Ghost will stop at nothing to protect the ones he loves. Because when the men of the Soulless Kings love, they love hard. And when danger comes knocking, they’ll burn the world down to protect their own.
And just when you think your heart has been through enough, the epilogue will have you reaching for your tissues once again—a beautifully perfect ending to a perfect MC read. Nobody delivers all the emotions and all the heart-stopping danger quite like Ms. Rhodes.
Another phenomenal story—raw, gripping, and impossible to put down.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the story of Ghost and Ember. When Ghost left his small town in Texas to go to Oregon to chase his dreams, his fiance did not follow him. This in turn made their relationship impossible to maintain and both their hearts were broken. Ember in turn had a dream of being a nurse. She was going to make it her life mission to take care of people in their worst times of needs that had been abandoned by their families. Now, Ghost is back in his hometown because his mother needs him. She doesn't recognize him anymore most of the time. He knows that he can't take care of her by himself and he has to hire some help. He knows that there is only one person in this world that he would trust with his moms care...Ember. She on the other hand is reluctant to take the job when it is offered to her. But she can't turn Ghost down. After all, his mother was almost her mother in law at one point in time. Now these two are in each other's lives again. Both have feelings that still linger. Will he be able to take care of his mom until he isn't going to have to and walk away? Will she be able to stay away from him with all the time they are going to be spending together? You have to read to find out. I really loved reading this story. There is also some danger in this book that makes for a great edge of your seat moment. I thought these two were perfect for each other. I loved everything about them both. I love a good second chance romance and this one was great.
What an emotional, heartfelt MC Romance Ghost’s story turned out to be. I would also like to add if you are susceptible to triggers, please heed any warning. As for this reader i’d like to say Kudos to Ms. Rhodes for an excellent MC romance that had this reader engrossed from start to finish. This is a 2nd chance romance with a storyline that is emotional, heartfelt and dangerous MC situations. Ghost needs a caregiver to help with his mother who is suffering from Alzheimers. The last thing he ever suspected was for Ember, the woman he once thought he would spend the rest of his life with, to be the person sent to help out. But Ember wants nothing more than to care for the woman she onced called Mom, and assures Ghost she wants to stay, but only to help his mother.
As Ghost struggles with losing his mother, his club is pulled into a war with the Cartel. All of which has him needing Ember’s help more. Drawing them closer. However before there is even a chance anything more between them, Ghost and Ember must resolve unfinished business from their prior time together. A time when hearts were broken due to a lack of communication. But will things be any better the second time around? When troubles follow Ghost closer to those he cares about will things only worsen?
I can’t recommend this book enough. It’s book 3 in the Soulless Kings MC, Marble Falls, TX series but can be read as a standalone. Grab it up asap, you won’t regret it.
Book 3 of the Soulless Kings MC: Marble Falls series is the story of Ghost and Ember, high school sweethearts who were planning to get married after graduation. But things didn’t go as planned. He left to chase his dream of becoming a cop in Oregon and she remained in Marble Falls, Texas. After 15 years, they reunite because Ghost’s mother has Alzheimer’s and needs a full time care giver. Ember is the best and is willing to move in with Ghost’s mom to take care of Mrs. West.
The Soulless Kings’ problem: A cartel is trying to move into Marble Falls. They take the drugs sold by Soulless Kings, add a little something more and users start dying.
The drama: Ghost and Ember did not end on good terms, but Mrs. West needs Ember’s care. Sometimes Mrs. West remembers the fiancé her son loves and other times, she’s the girl who broke his heart. Of course, the tension between Ghost and Ember is ever present.
This story follows the winning formula Andi Rhodes uses in all her stories; danger, sexual tension, an uncomfortable issue and a happy ending. Andi isn’t afraid to address issues that can be triggers such as abuse, psychological trauma and in this case, a terrible disease that steals a loved one long before they leave this world. She always researches the issue and incorporates it into the story with grace and compassion.
As with each book from Andi Rhodes, I couldn’t put it down once I started reading. I can’t wait for the next book.
This the third book in this series. They can be read as standalone books. I like them better in order but that is just me. I haven't read the original series but that didn't seem to affect anything. Ghost left right after graduating high school to become a cop. Now he is back and part of the Soulless Kings MC. He came back because of his mom and she may lead him right back to the woman he thought he was going to marry. Ember thought they were going to get married but then things got complicated. He thought she would just leave with him. He didn't even bother to ask. For some reason that one thing changed things for her. But now he is back and asking for help for his mother. Granted he didn't know it was her when he called but none the less here they are. Can they be just employer/employee and ignore the way they feel or will they take a shot at a second chance? Ghost is part of the MC and there is always danger involved in that. Will he be able to protect her from the danger? This book was a great read. I am loving the characters in this series more and more with each book. Fantastic job Andi. I look forward to reading more books in this series.
This is the third book in this series and this is Ghost and Ember’s story. Ghost left town after graduating high school to become a police officer, and now he is Seargent-at-Arms for the Soulless Kings MC, and he returns home 15 years later because of his mom. Ember is a nurse who cares for the elderly, and Ghost hires her to care for his mom, even though the two of them have a history. This is a well written action packed, easy to read, emotionally charged story, with family, friendships, danger, suspense, intrigue, survival, romance, second chances, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and compelling addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Parker West left Marble Falls and his fiancée Ember behind to chase his dreams—dreams that didn’t exactly work out because he missed Ember. Now part of the Soulless Kings MC, he’s back home to care for his mom, whose health is declining fast. Having nurses leave he’s desperate for help, and asks Addison who gives him the number of someone she knows, which leads to him hiring the one person he trusts—Ember, his ex-fiancée. She’s a dedicated nurse with a passion for caring for the elderly, but working for Ghost brings all kinds of emotions back to the surface. With old feelings and unresolved history between them, things get intense fast.
This is a heartfelt MC romance about second chances, loyalty, and the kind of love that never really goes away.

I have mad respect for Andi Rhodes and how she tackles the difficult emotional realities in a sensitive way! Definitely recommend reading it and certainly a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ story!
Struggling to balance life with Soulless Kings MC and caring for his Mother living with Alzheimers, Ghost contacts a live in nurse recommended to him. Ember is the nurse and both she and Ghost have to deal with feelings from their past relationship.
A great Soulless Kings story: danger and drama as Ghost and Ember have a second chance. Andi has given us an emotional story with her portrayal of the realities of living with Alzheimers.
Ghost left Ember and their plans for a future years ago, leaving Ember broken. Now Ghost needs help with his mother who has altzlimers and has already gone through a few nurses. Asking the club ores for help he doesn't expect Ember to be the one to come and help, bringing up the past is the least of their worries when they become targets of the cartels! Well written engaging steamy desires second chances and more!
This third installation in the Soulless Kings NC was fantastic. The story was very emotional, which I loved. It was written in such a way that it was just beautiful and loving and everything I could have wanted. Ghost and Ember have such a great story. She is his ex fiance and a nurse now. The way they come together was very touching and beautiful. This is another amazing installment in this MC world. I thoroughly enjoyed it?
Ghost is book 3 in the Soulless Kings MC; Marble Falls, TX series written by the talented author Andi Rhodes. This is Ember and Ghost second chance biker romance. A story that combines family drama, a long-lost connection, lots of action and a dangerous threat. They had outstanding chemistry. Tense from the start, the emotions and the depth of characters is intense. I look forward to reading the next books in this series.
Ghost and Ember have a past. Years later, she takes a job and her entire life changes. Great characters and a fabulous storyline.
~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
I absolutely loved Ghost and Ember's story. This is a second chance romance and Ghost and Ember have a past that was full of hurt and misques. I loved Mrs West too, she was sassy and I loved her. Great story and I love these characters so much.
They knew each other from the past, but had unresolved feelings . When they meet again for the sake of his mother, the sparks are still there and just as hot as ever. When they meet club has trouble from someone trying to move into their territory, they take care of that person, but not before they threaten Ember and Ghost;s mother, and then hurting Ember and his mom. Ember and Ghost’s love is still as strong as ever and just as deep.
Another tissue hugging book from Andi. I cannot imagine what it must be like to live with a parent with Alzheimer’s and the family who have to care for them. It must be exhausting. Ghost’s love for his mother radiates from the story and I was sighing the entire time. Add to that Ember and their second chance at love. A beautiful story.
Sad beginning. Bring in Ember who is an adult to assist, taking care of Ghost family when he is having issues. Will they be able to get past all the problems of their past. The MC family have problems arise with a product and the enemy threatens to hurt those they care about and must pull everyone together to solve the problem. Quick read, couldn't put it down.
Sometimes when you regret a choice enough, life gives you a second chance… A second chance is exactly what Ghost and Ember get. Well written story with plenty of plot and spice to keep you reading. This is a definite must read! Teenage sweethearts with dreams that didn’t quite line up. Dreams that didn’t quite live up to expectations. New perspectives and love of family.
Ghost’s past comes barreling back into his life when he is trying to find a caregiver for his mom. His former fiancée is the one person he had tried not to run into when he moved back. Now he’s forced to confront all the things that were left unsaid because Ember is the one person who can help him the most.
Tugs at your heartstrings leaving you wanting more. Ghost and Ember’s journey is deeply emotional, sincere, sensual and fulfilling. Their road wasn’t easy but they were able to make it through because of the beautiful friendship they shared. I enjoyed every single second of this heartwarming story.
Wow, talk about an emotional rollercoaster ride. This 2nd chance, Alpha biker romance. A biker and a nurse separated for years meet up accidently. These 2 made choices when they were young that they regret. Hopefully they get their HEA
This is the third installment in the Soulless Kings MC, Marble Falls, TX series. This time it is Ghost and Ember’s story and is second chance romance. As always, Andi dives right into emotional topics, this time caring for a mother with Alzheimer’s. I loved this story and highly recommend it.
I have been curious about Ghost's past so happy his story is finally told. Ember and him certainly made some mistakes as they were young but the connection never died. This also covers a tough topic with aging parents and it was done very well.
An excellent read, loved catching up with the Souless Kings MC. This book is a definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
This one conflicted me. It definitely was more emotional than lots of action but was also needed for these characters to heal. So while this wasn't my favourite of the series, I definitely found myself glued to the pages. I look forward to seeing what the author comes up with next.
A good addition to this series. Good characters and storyline along with some good twists and turns plus action and suspense. Looking forward to the next book.
Book three in the Soulless Kings MC: Marble Falls series. Ember and ghost where high school sweetheart. Till the end of high school. Stubborn and miscommunication breaks them apart. Now ghost needs a nurse to help with his mother’s health. Ghost never imagined that ember will walk through that door. Anger, hurt and most of all regret. Now they stand together again. Will they fight to be together or lose all hope again cuz they didn’t communicate with each other.
