MEET CALLIOPE DAY
The pink fangs flying out of her mouth and hitting Noreen in the back of the neck was not Calliope's fault! If Mrs. Perkins hadn't asked Calliope what 10 times 10 was, the pink fangs would have stayed in her mouth just fine. But they hadn't, and Mrs. Perkins took the fangs away. Add that to the list of Calliope's problems!
Her other One, Calliope has to go to ASP (the After School Program), where she is so bored. Two, a couple of policemen have come to her home wanting to take away her beloved rabbit Mortimer. Three, she needs to find out if her next-door neighbor Mrs. Blatherhorn is really a witch. And number four--and craziest of all--Mortimer has begun howling at the moon. A rabbit that howls? What is going on here? Calliope must plan an escape from ASP, make a run for it, and find out what's really going on.
