Who has discovered Flatley’s true identity, and will Jill be able to protect him? Jill is also determined to find out what happened in Middle Tweaking that eventually led to Myrtle Turtle’s untimely demise. Meanwhile, at the office, Winky has a new friend, but Jill is convinced he may not be what he seems to be.
As usual, this chapter of witch tales starring Jill Maxwell, was fantastic! She always seems to have so much going on at once and yet she keeps all of her cases straight on. What with her teaching at CASS, then two or three cases, her aunt, grandmother, cousins and of course her husband Jack, it's amazing she doesn't have a break down, or two. She also has her friends who keep her busy or she can count on their help. It's great to find out that there will be another book and I can't wait. Many Thanks to the author Adele Abbott.
I sound like a recording, but again a great book. I don't k ow how you come up with these crazy characters - woobles, Humph, Winky on and on. Anyway I enjoyed the cases and I love it when Jill talks to the readers - too funny.
I always enjoy these books. They are such a treat. Not serious and a fun read to boot. They must be good if I’ve stuck with them for 52 books. I love the fact that has contradicts and things change and she points that out to the reader. Also, ghost cats, what’s not to like.
