I found this book in Seoul last summer and brought it home to read to our girls. It never made the cut until now - somehow our girls always wanted to read something else. But we finally sat down and read the stories and songs. They are interesting and give some insight into Korean culture, traditions and ways of thinking. But I'm afraid the translation must not truly capture the magic of the stories and songs because some of them fell pretty flat. But I'm sure a lot of that has to do with their culture and mindset as well. We won't be keeping this book, but it was a fairly quick read and offered our girls a look into Korea.
