Anatomía con orientación clínica proporciona a estudiantes de medicina y otras áreas afines la información anatómica que necesitan para su formación teórica y práctica. Cada uno de los capítulos dedicados a regiones anatómica concretas contiene combinaciones de imágenes clínicas/diagnósticas que familiarizan a los futuros profesionales con las técnicas de diagnóstico por la imagen. La calidad de las imágenes facilita la comprensión de los conceptos anatómicos y la retención de "imágenes mentales" de las estructuras anatómicas.
- ANATOMÍA DE SUPERFICIE. Las ilustraciones muestran claramente la relación entre la anatomía y la exploración física y el diagnóstico.

An excellent Anatomy text geared to those who have never tackled the subject before. The book has great scope as well as depth of knowledge and I think (as it was for my course of study) it should be an essential text.

I loved the summarizations at the end of each section boiling down WHAT REALLY MATTERS - because let's face it. There are just too many darn parts in the human body for us to remember all the components, relations to other components, nerve, venous and arterial supplies for, LOL.

Get this book. You won't be disappointed. It is authored especially with a clinician's perspective.

Update (second half of the semester): I was wrong about it cutting down information. I’m actually starting to sort of hate anatomy, which I don’t know if that’s good or bad. What I do love, though, are the clinical boxes. I’ll be reading all this boring, dry text, then get to the clinical part and I’m always like, “yeah, this is what I’m in medicine for.” Still, I DONT like anatomy.

This is a book I pull regularly to show patients the relevant anatomy and talk about their disease process. It would be a useful book for any family with family members with significant ongoing illness who wanted to be able to better understand what is going on with their illness or body.
