The World War II era has been a gold mine for conspiracy theorists for years, and there is no denying that there are some truly outlandish theories out there as far as Nazi Germany is concerned. However, to paraphrase the old saying, the truth can sometimes be stranger than fiction. Follow along as this book delves into the things that the Nazis never wanted to be revealed to the public, from its weapons research to sordid details of Adolf Hitler’s personal life.
* Adolf Hitler’s love life before Eva Braun
* Nazi weapons program
* Night vision equipment development
* The huge counterfeit money operation
* The “Lebensborn” program
* and much much more!
“I have heard some truly outlandish tales of things that that Nazis supposedly hid from the world, but some of the actual facts are beyond imagination. Hitler’s past and secret personal issues are especially unsettling, but they do explain much about the type of man he was. I will not say anything further so as to not spoil any information in the book, but I will highly recommend the read.” – Butch O. (Stewartstown, USA)
“I had no idea until today that the Nazis were so advanced in their technology for the time. Their forays into the world of night vision equipment is surprising. Who knew that such an advent was even thought of at this point in history? I suppose we should be thankful that their research into this and other things like weapons did not progress too rapidly…” – Becky D. (Iron Gate, USA)
“The treachery of the Nazi regime of Germany seemingly knew no bounds, and this book brings new evidence of that to life. Their counterfeit money scheme was bad enough, but wait until you read about the Lebensborn program. Truly despicable, and not surprising that this was something they tried to keep hidden.” – Tim W. (Spiro, USA)

Quick read, lots of interesting factoids many people won't know. Nothing earth-shattering you wouldn't learn watching a week of the American Heroes Channel, but well-written and researched. A couple minor editing issues ("extent" instead of "extant", "every day" instead of "everyday", and one sentence that uses a "Though...but" structure) but a great commuter read.
This was an interesting short book. I admit that I don't know nearly enough about WWII as I should, so this book was great for giving me some new information that I didn't know before, and its short so it is easy to digest, so to speak. I will definitely be reading more of this author's book on WWII.
