Being a movie critic, I have seen and heard it all. Until now!! I give it 2 thumbs up and urge you to keep writing. I would love to see more of your work. I'd love to see your work made into movies.
Once again you never cease to amaze me. The story line is STRONG, INTELLIGENT, CREATIVE. Cage the dead is original not the typical zombie apocalypse book. Your female character is STRONG Your story kept me on the edge of my seat, it was exciting, fun, and many time I felt adrenalin rush. The anticipation of what next made Cage the dead all more fun. Gary Vanucci is the next Stephen King!!!!!
As always I can count on Vanucci to give some interesting situations and plot twists. This setting for the second in what is unfolding to be a zombie series, raises some interesting ethical questions. There were some times when solutions were a little too easy, but it was a fun, zombie smashing read. I am wondering if the hero from this story will meet up with the hero from the first story, ala Stephen Kings The Stand.
I initially downloaded this because it was a zombie novel and it was free. What surprised me was that I quickly started to care for the characters whether human or animal.
Well written, characters, and sweet, smart, animals make This book a fast and fun read. I will definitely, buy the next in the series, and most likely, all the remaining books
Cage the Dead is (IMHO) 100% better than Wake the Dead. The circumstances of this particular zombie apocalyptic story is fuzzy in my mind ( I'm fairly sure it is evident told in the first book). I read this as a stand alone book and had a good time reading it. People and animals are awesome creatures!!
Worse I started reading I couldn't put it down. I didn't care for the sex but the bonds of Love and friendship pulled at my heart strings. I would recommend to any of my friend's (and have) If anyone wants to know what could be in our future, this is the series you won't want to miss. .
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I could not finish this book. The dialogue between the characters was terrible. It read like something a middle school aged kid would write. I am sorry, because I love zombie books, but this was just not for me.
