This would have been more engaging for me if written like a memoir with full stories to draw me close to the author and make it more relatable.

I don't like self-help books, so part of the problem is me. I did also find it a little repetitive and vague at times so that it doesn't make for a helpful how to (which is why I think a memoir style would have been better).
