This is a point-buy system with way too many options, so it would be overly complex to run a game of this. However, if you are interested in the source material, this is a good reference for that. Just port the source into another system if you want to play it.

While a pointlessly overcomplicated roleplaying game, this book serves the reader much better as a guide to all things Bubblegum Crisis, with detailed character and setting write-ups.

My good god this was an absolute gem to look through. Although this is obviously supposed to be a roleplaying game manual, I looked at it more as an artistic marvel. Right from the beginning, you're sucked back to the days where everything was drawn by hand. That, of course, is already a marvelous feat, but it seems even more impactful in this day and age of AI generated slop everywhere. The book has SO many beautiful pieces, literally every page has something that makes your heart hurt. I couldn't believe how much information was provided for different characters and settings at the end of the book. Every character had MULTIPLE head shots from different angles, as well as full body art! Crazy! I've never seen the anime, but now I want to. As for the game itself, there is a whole lot going on. Definitely a game where you need to love math, even more than most TTRPGs I've encountered. If I was playing I imagine I would pick and choose what to actually use as modifiers and stuff as I can see how it'd be hard to convince a group of people to really learn how to do everything that's outlined in the systems. Overall, definitely want to check this game out further. Who doesn't love badass women in sick looking mech suits?
