Unable to sit still or focus on a single task, I learned at a young age that I was meant to do something that put my entire mind to use. I was always a mimic and did impressions of people in odd places. And that's how my stories began.

But being a great storyteller doesn't mean much when you don't have any listeners. I've been very fortunate to have a fan base that supports my work and encourages me to release sequels. Without all of you, I'd have no purpose. Literally.

My personal life isn't too interesting. My husband is an alpha male that inspires a lot of my novels. He can be pushy and overwhelming at times, but I still love him to the end of my days, especially when I put him in his place. =)

Writing has been a lifelong dream. When I was in college, I was always in awe of the fabulous stories I read. I always said, "I wish I could write something like that someday." But I never thought I would actually do it. Boy, was I wrong.

Thank you so much for all the support.

After reading book one I was glad to see that there was indeed going to be more to the storyline since I was a little pissed at Kiera's behaviour towards the end of 'Unbreakable' . She was a little OTT in her reaction to finding out about Liam's underground fighting, despite also sympathising with her past experiences with physical abuse.

In this book, their love story continues. Kiera finally sees that she has forced him to give up the one thing he enjoyed, that he was good at, so he could be with her and that this is ultimately making him unhappy outside of their relationship. This leads to Liam showing her some self-defence so she can toughen up both physically and mentally. And it works. He starts to fight again, at least training more etc and she slowly comes to terms with it and the two seem to be on an even footing. That is until one of Liam's ex's - Adrianne - who appeared many times in book one, digs her nails in and plants seeds of doubt in Kiera. When confronted, Liam loses his patience (not in a violent way of course) and I have to say I dont blame him. He has done nothing to deserve any kind of distrust from Kiera and when he finds out that she thinks he cheated on her ands revealed her past secrets, he cant take it anymore.

Kiera finds out the truth right at the end, but is it too late? It ends with the two still living each other, but Kiera has her work cut out if she is to gain his trust.
Despite the past trauma experienced by both MCs, I would still class this as a light, sticky-sweet read, with the hero and heroine wearing their hearts on their sleeves. 3-3.5 stars simply because Kiera was too much sometimes, but still, just what a wanted for a Sunday read.

Oh, the difference a book can make.
Let me start out by saying,I loved the first book. I absolutely could not wait to read this book,I really loved the characters and the storyline. Once I started reading this one I realized my folly. Liam was awesome! All good leading male characters should be like him; sweet, loyal, tender, patient, passionate. All great traits. Kiera was a struggle for me, it felt like she started to take two steps forward only to jump a mile backwards. About 75% into the book I had a very real "jump the shark" moment. I absolutely HATED the ending. It really feels more like a money grab than a need to expand on Liam and Kiera's story. I don't really see the need to drag it out, and that's the impression I'm getting from the fact that this book ended this way and now to wait for the next part of their story. I think it would have been much more effective to give Liam and Kiera their HEA with the conclusion of this book and give Scotty the next book, to get in his world. Oh well, guess I'll never know.

I am determined to finish this series even though I'm not liking it as much this go 'round. For $3.99 I really would appreciate a well edited book. There were typos and misspellings, use of the wrong words. Liam "grabbed a picture" to water the plants.. Pitcher, would be the correct word. There were several other mistakes like this. Also his last name changes, the announcer calls him Liam Yates and then 2 pages late he's Liam Haynes or something. These little things really bother me; a lot.
As for the story I think Liam is still mean at times, and I'm getting a little tired of Keira. I'm not super excited the next book in the series is $4.99 but like I said I'm determined to finish this series.
Note to author: please get someone to go through and edit your books for you. I mean, I will do it for free. It's really bad and shouldn't be. Simple read throughs should get most of these things taken care of.

How can a character change so much from one book to the next?? Liam is so whiney in this book and it was a major turnoff.

The grammar and sentence structure and poor choice of words in places is still evident in this second book. Copy edit!

Book 2, Unshakeable, is next in Ms. Abby Reynolds’ Forehead Kisses series. It continues the story of Liam and Keira.

The story is again told in first person, dual POVs from the M/F lead protagonists. In this installment, we get flashbacks from five years prior, which gives us a glimpse into how Liam dealt with his sister Eva being abused by her boyfriend Derek. His relationship with his sister was strained, to say the least. He repeatedly tried to get her away from her abuser. He resented his parents for not supporting his efforts to save his sister. The recollections helped the reader to understand the estrangement between Liam and his parents that we read about in Book 1. In the meantime, Liam and Keira are getting closer. He admits to her that he misses his professional fighting career. He encourages her to train with him so that she can build more confidence in herself. All while Adrianna is still trying to get her claws in Liam, or at the very least break up the happy couple. So she throws a bit more relationship angst into this book.

There was more plot development around Scotty. If you remember from my review of Book 1, I lurved me some Scotty. (And I will again side-eye the author. . .I would SO read a book about him. I hope we are getting set up for his book somewhere down the road in this series.) I am still loving these characters, I liked this book even more than the first one, and I can’t wait for Book 3.

I loved Liam and Keira in “Unbreakable” the first novel of this series – and in this the second visit to this delightful pair I have to say that while I still adore Liam – Keira on more than a couple of occasions had me wanting to reach out and shake her by the throat!
This is not to say that I didn’t love the book because I did, I just found myself losing patience with her at times but then again isn’t that what we are supposed to do – get involved with the story – so perhaps Ms Reynolds pitched the character perfectly.
I know one thing for certain, she definitely pitched Liam to absolute perfection because he is enthralling. His patience, determination and passion not only for Keira but to right the wrong that happened to his sister is completely consuming. But he does everything with everyone else in mind, he is devoted to Keira yet she struggles with her doubts and personal demons.
Liam understands and is more that sympathetic than most but he is sensitive to the fact that he craves Keira’s trust – without that they have little to go on – love is most definitely not enough for Liam and no matter the strength of feeling that he has for her – until he can truly believe that she trusts in 100% he knows that what they have together needs time apart.
I loved the back history that we get through the story – the details surrounding Liam’s sister’s death and the hatred that he harbours towards his parents – especially his father were emotional to read. This man really wears his heart on his sleeve.
But his heart is torn between the two things he loves most in the world – Keira and Fighting – he needs them both but for entirely different reasons.
Together they were unbreakable and with his hard work and patience Liam has instilled a confidence in Keira that has made her unshakeable but in the process has he created someone that he can walk away from?
I look forward to the next instalment of this enthralling series with my fingers crossed that this pair get the HEA that they deserve.

I'm yours, Kiera. You already know that."

Book 1 in the Forehead Kisses series really took me by surprise. I had never heard of the author, but I really enjoyed the story. Book 2, Unshakable, I loved. Really, really loved.

Liam and Kiera found there way back together after Unbreakable and came out stronger. Kiera is beginning to find her place in the world and Liam is standing right beside her.

In this book, we see more of Liam's past, learn more about his sister and what happened and how it shaped him into the man he is today and why he not only needs Kiera's love, but her trust as well. I loved Liam in the first book and loved getting more of his background in this one. Liam is sweet, loving, caring and very protective, but at the same time, he wants Kiera to be strong and be able to protect himself.

As they settled into their life again, Kiera learns Liam is unhappy about giving up fighting and because she loves him, she wants to be supportive. In their way, they talk about it and find a way to work through it together. In the process, Liam gives Kiera the chance to see how strong she really is and we start to see her be more confident and self-assured.

But of course, there is always something looming ahead and for Liam and Kiera its Adrianna. Is Kiera strong enough to withstand Adriana's meddling? Is her love and trust in Liam enough for her?

Book two really developed the characters more and provided more angst, but that is the way in any relationship that is being built.

This is still a very sweet story about two people who love each other and are healing and helping each other. Its about trust, love and understanding, but also about heartache. I cannot, cannot wait for book 3.

So yes, I would definitely recommend this series. Its an amazing read. There are some editing/grammar errors, but really the story draws you in and grabs hold of you.

Happy reading!

So, this book wasn't as good as the first. I felt like UNBREAKABLE was more well rounded. Book 2 doesn't have the best plotline and there is a lot of grammatical errors that made me feel lost at times but I feel like this series still has potential.

In this book we find Liam and Keira, the main characters, in more of a relationship bliss until things spiral out of control again. Both characters have a lot of issues to conquer. Liam, I feel, is the character who has grown the most and it was interesting to get flashbacks of his life to understand his journey thus far. Keira on the other hand, I thought was growing a bit, but kinda settled back to her old ways towards the end which was difficult for me to swallow.

I do wonder what's in store for them in book 3.

My only issue with this book is that it got drowned too much in bedroom scenes while I was expecting a bit more to the plotline. Let's see how things pan out in book 3. I'm still invested enough that I want to see how Liam and Keira conquer the setbacks they had in this book.

My rating: 3/5

To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement.....and no it's not from disliking this story. I actually really love this storyline, it's just the fact that I was not aware there was a third book and so here I was thinking that the story would end here for Keira and Liam but now I've just been left hanging. I'm majorly peeved off with Keira and Liam in this book. I'm peeved with Liam because he was so harsh to Keira and kicked her out and yes I know she didn't trust him and he honestly has never given her any reason not to trust her but I'm in two minds here. I understand he feels like he shouldn't have to keep proving himself to Keira, he's never given her reason to doubt him but at the same time I just wish he would cut her some slack. I'm really heartbroken for Keira that they are no longer together. I just want to see these two finally together and happy. Ugh now I have to wait for the next book to come out before I can see where this love of theirs ends up.

This book at times plain pissed me off. I mean yes a tragedy happened to you but maybe instead of wallowing become a better person because of it. All this waffling back and forth is for the birds and look where it got her. Liam is a damn saint. In fact he should be elected for sainthood or knighted by the queen. Anything!! Since I apparently like punishment I'll read the next book. I'm not saying they are bad books it's just indecisiveness is a huge pet peeve lol

How can you not trust

Omg I have never been so mad at female character like I am at Keria . Liam has proven himself over and over but she won't let him in 100% she wants to but there that little doubt that she's not good enough strong enough. This book did tend to go back and forth and it seemed to drag a little I hope the next one there is a hea. still a good book you learn more about Liam which makes you love him even more if that's possible.

Abby Reynolds delivers again in this heart wrench love story. Two people bound to be together. It shows that love can be stronger when two people work hard to make a relationship work. I can wait to see how they find their way back to each other this time. Each has their own struggle, but know that their love is very strong.

Unshakeable was a pretty good read. The story was interesting and catchy. The characters were complex, and Kiera and Liam were fantastic. The editing errors threw me off, and there were some plot holes that needed to be addressed. With some fine tuning, this would have been a four or five star novel for me.

Liam and Keira's story continues and it seems like they are on the right path, but Liam isn't completely happy. He hates school and wants to fight again but refuses to loose Keira over it. Keira unfortunately believes gossip that pushes Liam over the edge.

The first few books were OK. I liked the story but didn't love it. In book 4 I realized it was spinning off onto Scotty and it was more or less the same story. I forced myself to read it but I'm stopping there. If they were free I'd continue but they're not so I'm done.

Good story

The story was touching. The characters were really well developed, but some more time should have been spent on editing before publication. There were quite a few errors that cUsed me to have to read a passage over to not be confused.
