'Sebastian' is the fifth book in Kathi S. Barton's "Bowen Boys" series and if you've been following this series then you know Sebastian is rather a techie. He owns and operates a computer store. He's really a computer genius but he's stretched himself so thin that helping the family is starting to be put on the to-do list of things to do. Like buying his parents a top-of-the-line computer and not teaching them how to operate it. George and Corrine see a young woman in line at the diner. She winds up being pulled into a confrontation with someone from the business across the street because of her tattoos. Rather than continue to let this chastisement get any further out of hand, Ama calmly leaves the building and starts walking away. That's when George and Corrine follow her and offer her a job teaching them how to use the computer. After a great deal of reluctance, Ama agrees and goes to their home where she helps them set things up, navigate websites, and school them on the safety of websites and passwords. Without knowing any of the facts, Sebastian calls his parents and proceeds to unleash on this woman how she's stealing his parents' money and her nefarious plans afterward. It becomes a horrendous situation that will have Sebastian eating more humble pie than he can imagine. Turns out Ama is not only Sebastian's mate but the last Earth Faerie. Jacob the wizard has not only been keeping in touch with the Bowen family but he knows Ama as well. But part of the information he's given her has scared her so badly she doesn't want any kind of mate at all. She truly doesn't even want any of the magic she has now. We wind up meeting several Faeries, but several levels of demon during this story and I hope we get to see more of Wanera and Bill. These females are so strong, not only in character and personality but with trials they and the family go through for them to start their happily ever after. I can only imagine what Reed's mate will bring to the relationship.

Great story but also a lot of sex.
A very entertaining read with a vastly interesting plot that includes Faeries and a Demi Demon and his minions.
Amaziri was a very interesting heroine but I cannot say I really knew much about her at the end of this book, as her and Sebastian didn’t really talk much, just seemed to keep having sex, most of which I speed read through after the first few as they were all very similar in tone.
Sebastian really does put his foot in his mouth even before meeting Ama and once he meets her and knows she is his mate, he and his panther get even worse.
Finding a demi demon is after her for breeding purposes was not what Ama wanted to hear.
We also get to visit the big Demon himself and deal with a very nasty female demon.
Love how the family is still all pulling together and what a good leader Khan has become.
I really like how the story progressed in regards to the demi demon.

This book was artfully crafted and uniquely designed to pull you into the pages where secrets and fairytales live and dreams come true for those who believe!

This book was enchanting, enthralling and endlessly entertaining where stubbornness and determination to rise above conflict with a core of steel to get where love and happiness lives! The only thing that you need then is God's grace to cover you up!

I love Kathi's books. She is on my automatic buy list of authors. I loved this Sebastian's story. The fact that Sebastian's mate is someone who can teach his parents how to do something with electronic without making them feel stupid and not take advantage of them is fitting. The story features a not so bright demon lord. His minions that end up meaning more to him than anything, a wizard, and some Faeries. A fun and steamy read.

Sebastian

This is the Fifth (5th) book in the “Bowen Boys” series, and Sebastian is about to find his mate.
She is an earth fairie. Quite likely the last of her kind. He name is Amaziri. She likes to be called Ama
She meets Sabastian’s parents first, because she helps them with their computer, and then him. He is very rude to her at first, then he realizes what she is to him, but if he touches her without her permission, he’ll die (so the legend goes).
Of course she allows him to touch her, and the fun begins from there. She is also being stalked by a deamon who wants her to marry him and have his child.
This (of course) leads to some interesting things. I’ll leave it to you to find out what they are. Suffice it to say that he, (the deamon), dosen’t realize what he is up against.
Not just Sebastian, but the entire family.
As their relationship grows, and Sebastian learns more about his mate, he becomes more like a fairie, and Ama finds herself able to shift to panther, and so much more.
I know that you will love this book. I know I did. There are some interesting characters who are introduced for the first time, and one who appears for the second time.
Come along as see what happens next.

As this series gets closer to ending I just get sadder and fall more and more in love with these brothers.

Sebastian of all the brothers is suppose to be the most romantic, but he really is the one who puts his foot in mouth the worst of all the brothers. After being informed his mate will be coming soon, Sebastian has been on edge waiting and it results in him being short with everyone including his family. When Sebastian really lets his tongue loose it's on the one woman he's suppose to be wooing and loving.

**"I'll let you know when I've convinced her that she needs me more than I need her."**

Ama is the last known female Earth Fae. She has powers far beyond even what the Bowen's can comprehend. Ama isn't one to roll over and let anyone yell at her or try to "put her in her place." So when the mysterious stranger over the phone calls her a thief she's had enough, and lets the stranger hear about it.

**"I think you're the most beautiful creature in the world, and you're all mine."**

Now Sebastian has to find a way to make Ama forgive him and give him a chance to show her he is her forever. But Sebastian isn't the only man with eyes on Ama. They'll have to protect each other for the hell that's about rain down on their heads.

My review:

For those who love paranormal books, Kathi Barton is probably one of the best authors. Pure Kathi Barton. Lots of alpha male posturing and females giving them a run for their money!

King Bowen

This series is absolutely spectacular. I can't believe that they just keep getting better and better. In this installment its now Sebastian turn. When he first meets Amaziri (Ama) it is over the phone because she was helping out his parents. To say he was rude would be a bit of a understatement. Think before you speak should be his motto. Along with hurting her feelings he pissed off his parents. Ama is a earth faerie and presumed to be the last of her kind. There first face to face meeting was hilarious. From the first look Sebastian is hooked but Ama fights him because she wants no mate for her own reasons. Once again Kathi grabs your attention from the first page to the last, and the sex scenes whether their panther or human are melt your panties hot. With the secondary characters in this book I can see a spin-off(hopefully) where we would still get to see the Bowen's. I so don't won't it to end once we get Reed's book.

Well I have to say that Ms. Barton is coming up with some interesting mates for those Bowen boys. Each couple has to over come danger while traveling the tricky road of relationship woes. Sebastian is sometimes too smart for his own good however, he jumps to conclusions causing a rift with his family and the one meant to be his. Ama hates what she is and doesn't need that cat, however fate will not be denied and things happen for a reason. This was one of the more interesting stories, not that is didn't fall in with the bad guys after the girl but because it introduced us to some new and interesting characters. Snarky banter, intense situation and a visit from past characters add some depth to the new drama taking place at the Bowen homes. Fast paced, easy to follow, got to love the twists and turns keep you turning pages and wanting more. Each situation gets more complicated and exciting as the storyline unfolds. I can't wait to see how the last book turns out.

I fell in love with Sebastian when he totally screwed up and was admonished by his parents. Poor man did the "act first and ask questions later" bit, and it really bites him back. I liked the introduction of the demons and fell in love with Bill. The upgrade to the demon's home of the new computer and furnishings comes about from trips to Earth by the Demon. Maybe he isn't so bad as he has been portrayed. Bill is awesome! Ama is a cool character too. I did notice how this series shares common elements like those in The Aaron's Kiss series. I believe readers will enjoy the Bowen Boys as much as that one. I for one would love to see a picture of Sebastian and Ama once they are fully mated. I bet it would be beautiful.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

Very Good!

Sebastian & Ama's story is like a Fairytale & I mean that quite literally. Before Sebastian meets Ama his parents do & they not only recognize what she is but they offer her a job. The job was to help them learn to work their new laptop that Sebastian had given them. Sebastian at 1st makes Ama really mad & she doesn't want to have anything to do with him; but he wears her down. This story didn't really have a good vs bad element in it but it did have a good plot to it & some very good sex scenes. This book has shifters, demons, fairies & the magician is back.

Was ok

Was just an ok story. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy this book as much as I did the others. I found myself very distracted at times.
