"I want everything or nothing at all.”

The story begins with us meeting and Ruthie and Tobias. They have been dating for years, but Tobias is a dominate and refuses to unleash his true self with Ruthie. He wants to protect her, but Ruthie wants to give her whole self to Tobias. After one night when Tobias accepts Ruthie’s submission he decides he can’t continue with her and they break up. Ruthie decides she has to get away and moves to Las Vegas.

The story picks up three years later and Ruthie is back in town and she has decided she is going to get Tobias to accept her submission. In the time since Ruthie left she has become a famous painter. This is a huge deal since Ruthie is mostly blind, her vision is limited to shadows in natural light. I actually really enjoyed that aspect of the story. I liked that Ruthie didn’t allow this to hold her back. I liked that she had such a passion for something that most would think requires sight and for her to be successful was fantastic.

This story was so much more then I originally expected. I liked that there was suspense and drama to keep the story moving. I really enjoyed how the characters grew together and accepted all parts of themselves and each other. This story is super hot obviously, but I actually enjoyed all the other aspects just as much.

"I did want more. But my more is you. It’s always been you, Ruthie. You’re my everything."

Five "More" Stars

We first meet Ruthie and Toby in Too Much and learn that they have a history. They were involved three years ago and More starts in past when they are together and shows us why they actually broke up. Toby was scared and pushed Ruthie away, afraid that the relationship moving towards Dom/sub would be too much for Ruthie to handle.

Three years later Ruthie has been living in Las Vegas working on her painting and has become really successful as the "Blind Painter". She decides, though, that she is done letting Toby run scared and she comes back home to get her man. She's a fiercely independent woman that doesn't let the fact that she is blind hold her back in life

Toby has changed in the three years that he's been apart from Ruthie. He's become harder and more closed off then he was before and still has the fear that he would hurt Ruthie if they were to try and have the kind of relationship that he craves. Once Ruthie comes back into his life he can't leave her again, though, and works at being what she needs.

I loved this book! Ruthie is by far my favorite female character of this year so far. She was so independent and strong and I just loved how she fought for what she wanted. Ruthie and Toby were HOT HOT HOT! They were perfect together and I am so happy that they finally got their happy ending.

I had been curious about Ruthie and Tobias (Toby) story since I read about them in Too Much (All or Nothing #1). Ruthie and Toby are secondary characters in Too Much but you learn that there is a history between them and obviously still care deeply for one another, but for some reason they have been apart for three years and only see each other when Ruthie comes back into town to visit her brother, Jeremiah, who is Toby’s best friend. You could feel the spark between them and I had to know what happened to them and if they would get their HEA.

Although More (All or Nothing #2) can be read as a standalone I would recommend reading Too Much first to see them through their friends eyes and how they are with each other.

More starts out three years in the past when Ruthie and Tobias are together and the reason they ultimately break up. I was so mad at Tobias and the reasons he drove Ruthie away. I honestly didn’t’ think it was a good enough reason.

Fast forward three years, Ruthie is living in Las Vegas and has become well known as the “blind painter” and is extremely successful in what she does. But even with that all going for her she feels she is still not whole and knows it’s because she is still not over Tobias. So she decides she is going to give it one last try before finally moving on for good. She decides to move back to Atlanta and show Tobias that what he needs is exactly what she craves, to be dominated by him.

Three years ago, Tobias though he was doing the right thing by sending Ruthie away. He didn’t want to subject her to the dark thoughts he had and they way he craved to dominate her. He feared by showing her his true self he would break her and he couldn’t do that to the only women he has ever loved.

Tobias is not the same man he was three years ago. Things happened to him that made him harden even further, as well as closing off his heart so he never has to feel the same kind of pain he did when Ruthie moved away. What he doesn’t expect is for the girl he is still madly in love with to show back up and will stop at nothing to get him back. Although he still has the same fears as he did, he knows he can’t push her away again and this time is willing to do whatever it takes to make them work.

“I haven’t gone on, Ruthie. I’ve existed without you, that much is true. But I’ve been half a man at best. When I sent you away, you took everything that was good and right about my life with you. I don’t want to exist. I want to live. With you, he declared.”

Of course nothing is ever as easy as it seems and dangers from Tobias past threaten the only thing that matters in his life, Ruthie. He fears that she will never be safe with him and the only way to protect her is to push her away again, but things are different this time and neither is so easy to give up.

I loved Ruthie and how strong she was. She didn’t let the fact that she was blind hold her back from anything. I wanted to smack Tobias a couple of times especially when he tried to push her away, but Ruthie wouldn’t put up with it and was will to put herself and her pride on the line for the man she loved. She was an amazing heroine and I’m glad she finally got her HEA.

I haven’t read a book by Lea Griffith before but after reading More I will definitely be picking up other from her. More is the second book in the All or Nothing series and to me it was the perfect way to start. It was something different and unexpected. The synopsis immediately grabbed me but it was completely wrong. It makes you go into this story one way only to realize the synopsis is misleading.

Ruthie Copeland met the love of her life at the age of nine. It took a few years but she finally got him. They were together for a blissful year but she could tell he was holding a part of himself back. The part that wanted to dominate her. After getting some tips on the D/s relationship she offers him everything he could ever want. She offers every part of herself. She isn’t ready for him to send her away. When Tobias rejects her, she decides to move to Vegas to lick her wounds in piece. Now after three years she is back to get her man or put their relationship firmly behind her. Ruthie’s character was not something I was expecting. She has been blind since childhood but she has learned to be comfortable and not afraid of the darkness. She has developed her senses in a way she can almost “see” better than most people. Ruthie is definitely a strong but vulnerable character. She has been hurt in more ways than one by Tobias but she also recognizes that he is it for her, and always has been.

Tobias Edwards has loved Ruthie since they met, always from a far until he finally gives into his desires and asks her on a date. He notices then and there she is the type of submissive he has been looking for. His perfect submissive. The problem is his past, life, and dominance is too dark for someone as perfect as Ruthie. He suppresses his need to dominant her until she doesn’t give him that option. After he sends her away he stops living. Only allowing himself to do one or two scenes in the club but never have sex. When Ruthie walks back into his life determined to make him hers, there is nothing he can do but fight it. Tobias was such a vulnerable character. Yes he is alpha and dark and dominant, but there was also a vulnerability to him that took his character to the next level. He is broken and unsure of himself but he loves Ruthie. Tobias was a complex character that brought drama and danger to the story that you couldn’t help but love.

If you like D/s books that focus on the dynamic and the control this is not the book for you. This book takes you to the other type of D/s relationship where the pain turns into pleasure. These two crave the canes, whips, and floggers, if these things are not for you, skip the book. I thought the story was really interesting. Ruthie and Tobias are meant for each other and Ruthie will make him see that. You could feel the chemistry and the love they had for each other through the kindle. The romance and relationship part of this was definitely believable. Lea gave us a strong female character that had flaws and insecurities but was also ready to fight for what she wanted. There is also an element of danger. Tobias and Jeremiah used to run with the Dixie Mafia and now they are legit but the person who took Tobias is back and wants revenge. So if you like books containing the Mafia this one has a touch that brought a little bit of suspense.

The writing was done really well in this book. The flow and pacing of the story worked. I wasn’t bored and there was always something going on whether it was their relationship or the Mafia. My only problem was the author’s use of the words “nether lips” and “nether hole”. I hated that. It took me right out of the sexy, steamy moments these two were involved in. And let me tell you Lea can write them so it was a shame that I was taken out of the moment. Other than that I really loved the characters and the overall story. I will definitely be picking up more from this author.

This review first appeared on Romance at Random

More delivered on the feels, the thrills and the chills. I absolutely adored this story! Of the two books, this one was my favorite because of the connection between the hero and heroine. They were both incredibly stubborn individuals, but that stubbornness served them well to overcome their fears and fight for the type of relationship they both wanted. One needed more convincing than the other, but the fact that the heroine in this story did the chasing was what I really enjoyed about her. The BDSM in this series is tamer than Cherise Sinclair’s books, for example. These couples don’t spend all their time and explore their sexual relationship exclusively within club walls.

The prologue alone had my eyes welling up with tears for Ruthie and Toby. They'd been lovers for a while. She knew he was a Dom, but they’d had a vanilla relationship. He kept his darkness in check, for her sake. She wanted all or nothing, to be what he needed, so she learned all she could to give herself to him. Only he gave her a taste hoping to scare her off, instead he got scared off and left for her own good, or so he thought. That was three years ago. The story picks up again in the present, and Ruthie is back to get her man.

Ruthie may have been blind, but she was still an independent woman with a flourishing career as a painter. She was a very compassionate soul who loved with everything she had. She was open and honest about her feelings which was refreshing. And obviously, she was willing to go to great lengths to convince Tobias they were better together than apart.

I loved Tobias and all of his faults. Considering the type of people he and Jeremiah had to deal with, the thought that the ugliness of his world could touch her really scared him. Contrary to some reviews, I didn't see him as selfish, but stubborn? Absolutely. Someone mentioned that he bossed her around outside of the bedroom. The only time he did that was in regard to Sol. He didn’t know if Sol had an ulterior motive. Ruthie believed he was harmless, but by that point Tobias had good reason to worry about anyone trying to get to him through her. It didn’t fit his character to try and control her life; he only wanted to control their mutual pleasure. And as for the feeling that she caved to his mood swings too often…at the age of nine, she proclaimed to her brother that she’d marry Tobias one day and that Jeremiah should “get him for her”. She knew what she wanted, and if that meant taking a few hits to her heart, that was what she was prepared to do.

The sex/love scenes were all varying degrees of hot (from sex in the rain to desperation sex). But my favorite parts weren't the acts themselves but rather what he gave her. She was the color in his lacklustre life, and in return, he gave her color where there was only murky darkness. Romantic sap that I am, I swooned at that.

"Tell me what it looks like, Ruthie," he demanded, stroking her through the aftershocks.

"So many colors, Tobias. That's what you give me...color," she whispered brokenly.

Despite the five scenes and a few other steamy ones, the author still managed to pack in a lot of story. The next book was set up with a few encounters between Dante, the new head of the Dixie Mafia, and Savannah a detective with the Atlanta PD. Their story ought to be interesting. I also hope to see Sol get a HEA with his mystery woman considering she haunted both him and Ruthie.

Ruthie’s been blind since she was a child and that’s about the same amount of time that she’s been in love with Tobias. Tobias is afraid to share his dark side with Ruthie, but you know...romance happens anyway.

The Good, The Bad and Everything In Between

-BDSM clubs are all the rage: in Romancelandia, you can’t go ten feet without hitting a BDSM clubs with hottie Doms and this is no exception. If you’re a bit OCD about reading in order, be forewarned - this is the second book and while I felt a little out of it at first, it was pretty easy to catch up.

-Excellent chemistry between leads: Tobias and Ruthie’s connection is clear from the start, and the writing is well done, with enough description to keep it titillating without turning it into a BDSM manual.

-Ruthie’s blind, but Tobias is the one who can’t see: Ruthie’s blindness (love that she’s a painter), leads Tobias to be a bit overprotective and not accepting that his dark side works with her submissive side just fine. Ruthie’s a strong heroine, going after what she wants, and Tobias eventually gets it, but….

-There’s angst and waffling as far as the eye can see: Not before there’s tons of angst and waffling. First Tobias is all about sending Ruthie away because he doesn’t want to inflict his “dark desires” on her, and then he changes his mind, literally overnight and they re-start their torrid love affair. I would have liked to have seen him be a little less willing to send her away every time he felt bad for needing to be in control. I appreciate the desire to protect, but he did it while disregarding Ruthie’s feelings, which isn’t as fun.

-The secondary storyline didn’t really pull me in: The Mafia bits pushed the boundaries for me more than the BDSM did. It was... alright. I understand its purpose in expanding the world beyond just BDSM, but it wasn’t my favorite part. I will say that Sol and Dante did intrigue me enough that I overlooked some of the more implausible aspects of the story.

The Bottom Line (3.5 stars)
A bit of a stretch in parts, I still enjoyed the story and the characters. I’d read more by this author.

"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads"

This is the second in the series, but can definitely be read as a standalone.

I really enjoyed this book, it was hot, the plot was good and the writing was strong. Ruthie is blind, and the language is used so consistently and cleverly to emphasise that she is lightness and Tobias is dark. Add in the Dom/sub growing dynamic and the references to sight / seeing, and this story builds layer by layer. I enjoyed the side characters, both the women who support and encourage Ruthie, and the guys who in spite of questionable business dealings are loyal to each other, and protective of the women. There are some clever twists too. I'm looking forward to the next in the series - where Dante and Savannah take centre stage.

"I want everything with you, Ruthie."

Tobias Edwards is a hard man to love and Ruthie knows that first hand. He pushed her away three years ago and like a fool, she ran. Now she's back in Atlanta and she wants nothing more than to prove to Tobias that's she here for one reason and one reason only. She's wants what's hers - and that's him.

The author did an outstanding job of describing Tobias' needs as a dominant and how that domination would play out in his relationship with Ruthie. Ruthie is an untrained submissive who longs to give Tobias what he needs so that he can give her what she needs. Tobias' need for control scares him and he doesn't want to do anything that will cause Ruthie to leave him.

Steamy romance, familial drama and close friends all play a large part in making this such a successful story.

I.Love.It. The story is captivatingly romantic with a twist of mafia. The chemistry between the characters are good and sexy. Ruthie Copeland is one admirable woman because her disability doesn't become a hindrance in love. She continued to strive hard to get what she wants and she is talented. Her life is full of vibrant colors, confidence defined her. She entered in Tobias' life and give him all the love, even exploring his dark lifestyle. Tobias Edwards truly fall in love with her because she is a sweet, innocent woman. He tried to push her away because he protects her even kills him. Both characters are imperfectly perfect.

It's one enjoyable read. I'm a fan of the writing style because it's not hard to get into the story. Praises to Lea Griffith for such a wonderful story.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here it is. Ruthie Copeland had her heart ripped out three years ago, now she is back home to claim what is hers and more. Tobias Edwards has spent the last three years barely surviving because the guilt he feels for sending Ruthie away is eating him alive. While Tobias is fighting his feelings for her, Ruthie is gonna make him see that he is her more and she is his more. This story has it all, love, loss, pain, a little BDSM and suspense. I love this series and can't wait for MORE!

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the writing was well done, and the perspective back and forth between characters was believable. It was refreshing to have a heroine with a disability--to see how her legal blindness would affect everything around her. It also made the dangerous situations that much more heart-pumping and urgent. The love connection between the two MCs--Ruthie and Tobias--was very sweet, enduring, and hot. Definitely a page turner in regards to plot and pacing. I would definitely recommend this book and would read another Lea Griffith novel. :)

More opens three years in the past, where readers learn of a passionate love affair between Ruthie Copeland and Tobias (Toby) Edwards. Ruthie has always known a bit of Toby’s hidden desires to master and control sexual situations; he is a Dom, but he has kept that side of his life from her. One unforgettable night, Ruthie offers herself to Tobias completely, and after begging him to take her as he needs to, he finally gives her everything. However, the next morning, he is gone, demanding Ruthie leave and never return. Fast forward to present day when Ruthie returns to her home in Atlanta, determined to make Tobias hers forever. But will she have the mental and emotional strength to break down Tobias’s walls?

When I picked up More, I didn't realize that it was the second story in a series. While the author does a fine job pulling in the backstory as needed, I did feel like I was missing out on much of the history between several of the players in the book. It was obvious from comments and scenes that the core characters in the story have a long, shared history, and I wondered if I would have enjoyed the tale more had I read the first book, Too Much. With that in mind, I suggest to anyone new to the series to start at the beginning.

Overall, I enjoyed More; however, I had some issues. The opening prologue and start of the book was emotionally gripping. I found myself empathizing with Ruthie and wanting her to find her happiness. It drew me in and kept me glued to my Kindle. However, while I adored Ruthie, I found her attitude and self-esteem problematic at times. Ruthie is a strong woman with gianormous balls! She comes back to Atlanta, to a man who tossed her out, demanding his attention. But honestly, I felt like she was too often begging for him to love her after she gave him the biggest gift she could ever give (herself), and he threw it away. I hated to see her implore Tobias to take her back when instead, Tobias should have been groveling big time and begging her to come back!

In addition, Tobias is not a good man. While his heart may be golden when it comes to Ruthie and his friends, he is involved in dark, criminal actions. While I personally enjoy the bad boy trope in romance, I like for the heroes to be inherently good, rather than criminals. And I never felt that Tobias honestly loved Ruthie in a manner she deserved. He was too aggressive without compassion. His need to dominate felt stronger than his love for Ruthie. Even after the book was over, I felt that Tobias would never change his ways.

I did enjoy many parts of the book, to include some of the romance between Ruthie and Tobias. The pair shares sizzling physical chemistry and some smoking scenes. In addition, there was a fair amount of suspense and an antagonist worthy of true hatred. Finally, I found many of the supporting characters interesting, and I am curious to know more about their individual stories.

In the end, I really wanted to love More, but I just didn't. I was immediately drawn in and excited to read the story; however, as the book progressed, I got frustrated with the lack of character growth and change, especially in Tobias. In addition, I wasn't a big fan of the mafia storyline. Tobias isn't a nice guy, and although he loves Ruthie, he doesn't have many redeeming qualities. While I didn’t love More, I did enjoy it and feel that it would make for a wonderful storyline for those who enjoy darker romances.

My Rating: B- Liked It, but I had a few issues

4.5 / 5 stars!

Right away in the prologue... You're hit with a pretty big twist of a surprise... which isn't too much of a surprise if you've read the synopsis but shhh... Regardless, the twist it makes the whole Dom/sub trust thing a MAJOR trust thing.

Don't get me wrong, trust is a big deal in any D/s, BDSM 'relationship', but more so in Ruthie and Tobias's relationship.

Here's the thing when it comes to me and BDSM themed books -- I like to read them, but please don't try to sell me a relationship if the only thing they're doing is going at it like rabbits.

Here's the thing when it came to me and MORE -- there was so much more than sex, and the sex parts? There was more than "just kink". Kudos, Lea.

MORE has themes of romantic suspense (love!), erotica (obviously), and then a touch of Mafia too. Now, the Mafia parts were just a tad lacking -- I don't think the theme was as full as it could have been, and some of the boys' conversations were too 'skimming the surface' of the issue -- but let's be real, I was reading for the... mmhm, relationship between Ruthie and Toby.

No, honestly, I was reading for the relationship between Ruthie and Toby.

Ruthie and Toby have known eachother for years; Tobias's sister is married to Ruthie's brother, and when those two hooked up, Tobias realized it wasn't really taboo to think about his best friend's sister. From what I gather, Tobias never knew Ruthie with her eyesight, but regardless, he's so damn good to her.

When they first got together, Tobias wanted to keep his darker parts away from her -- both his Dixie Mafia ties and his Dominant tendencies. Ruthie, however, knew he was holding back so one night she tried to push him. He broke, he played... and he pushed her away.

Well, Ruthie's back, and Tobias has a lot to think about.

Ruthie is strong (I do like my strong heroines). She doesn't treat her blindness as a crutch -- she's learned to live with it and does well with it. She fears, though, that she's not enough for Tobias.

Tobias, on the other hand, doesn't think that he'll ever be good enough for Ruthie -- there's just too much negative in his life. And when that negative comes to haunt him, bringing Ruthie down with it? That's when his true colors show.

I had such love for these two characters. Ruthie has strong friendships and those girls help her fight her way back into Toby's arms. Tobias eventually learns, late as most men do, that there's no sense fighting off what the heart wants -- he just needs to be sure the darkness doesn't touch Ruthie's world.

When teaching her the ways of the D/s relationship, Tobias is firm but understanding -- of which I appreciated. While in the beginning, he wants to scare her away, in the end he wants to help her learn the ins and outs. Yes, he's firm, but he isn't mean.

And while those scenes are the gist/idea behind the book, Tobias and Ruthie's tender moments are just as good, if not better.

Have to add -- I'm so pumped to read about Dante. I love a good bad boy that no one else really likes... And when the opinions of those around you change in regards to you? Ah, it's the icing on the cake.

The first I have read in this series or by this author, I closed this book and went to grab the first. Wow – what a punch Griffith packs in this story, with two characters that would out-stubborn a mule if they are pushed.

I didn’t feel any great loss of story, even with this as a second book, Griffith takes the time to develop this story with background and information, and the character voices are solid and strong, able to look back on their lives and experiences as they learn to move forward.

Ruthie has been living in Las Vegas, pursuing her art and making a name for herself. Determined, independent and strong willed, blindness does not define her, it simply is another trait. I loved that about her: her refusal to curl up and whinge about what she couldn’t do, and moving forward to just do it differently. Her retreat to Vegas was to distance herself from the temptation that Toby presented: she wanted him, and he was afraid he would hurt her. Being around him and not being with him was too much.

Tobias never wanted to hurt Ruthie, in fact she gives him something that he’s never felt. But he did what he thought best for her, and pushed her away. The book starts with their separation, and gives Toby’s reasoning. Heartbreaking that he didn’t trust in her enough to share his needs and wants with her: it’s not like she was unaware of his dominant side.

When Ruthie reappears in Atlanta to visit her brother Jeremiah, and make some overtures to Toby, he is completely stunned. Harder, colder and more closed off from love and softer feelings, their separation but now with his past reappearing he also worries about danger from others. Trying again to push her away, Ruthie digs in her heels and won’t go. And we are off on a ride that is as exciting emotionally as sensually.
These two are really a wonderful combination: Ruthie trusts in Toby completely. A necessary element to their relationship trajectory. She sees him as a complete and complex being, and he gives her life a richness that is missing when he is not there. While not over-laden with sexual moments, they are steamy and sensual, as much for the action as the emotion: the tenderness and care that Toby takes with Ruthie and her utter willingness to expand her boundaries to be what he craves, even when he isn’t quite believing he can control himself. They are electric, emotional moments that display the heart of their relationship even when they aren’t necessarily talking about their feelings. Kudos to Griffith for presenting the insecurities and trust in ways that put life into the relationship and give readers plenty to swoon over.

When I read the first book in the All Or Nothing series, I was surprised on the unique take on th BDSM book genre. It was fresh and interesting as well as romantic. I was excited to dive into book two titled More which focuses on another couple, and it didn't disappoint in the least. It provided just as much of salaciousness as the first, and I was easily hooked from the very beginning. It wasn't a remake of the previous book, but one all its own. A different story surrounded by the same theme with an added tale of mystery and suspense. An enjoyable read for sure.

The book begins three years into the past with Ruthie visiting Tobias. They are both very much in love, but Ruthie feels that Tobias holds back when they are making love. She wants to please him and have all of him. She offers herself to him as a submissive, and at first he is dead set against it. Tobias gives in and gives her a little taste of what he craves. After their encounter, he feels guilty and decides that the BDSM lifestyle is not one for Ruthie, and he leaves her a not breaking her heart in the process. She leaves town and returns three years later to show him she has what it takes to satisfy his dominant lifestyle. A lot has changed since they have been together and Ruthie has grown into a beautiful, vibrant, and fearless woman. Her lack of sight hasn't deterred her into achieving her dreams. Tobias has come into his own and has become a thriving businessman. When Ruthie returns to claiming her man, she is met with resistance, but who is Tobias kidding he wasn't capable of saying no to her before, and he won't be able to do it now. Old fears and insecurities may be the only thing standing in their way of fulfilling both their fantasies and desires. Mix it in with a few outside interferences and you have the recipe for one tangled read.

I found that Ruthie's visual impairment and her sexual need to be provocative. Tobias catered to her every craving, and it was apparent that the love these two shared was unbreakable. To watch them finally let go and give in was a work of art much like Ruthie's paintings. She could see with her emotions. It was a lovely and engaging take on a second-chance romance. It was also extremely erotic to boot.

This was one of the better BDSM romances that I have read. Unlike the perfect mind reading romances, we are given one that doesn't follow the norm. I was once again surprised at how much emotion this book pulled from me. If you are looking for something that follows a different script, then I would recommend this one. You won't have to read the first book to understand More as it can be read as a stand alone. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the next book.

Ruthie Copeland is well known as the “Blind Painter”. Having been born with poor eyesight, she went blind at an early age but she always had a gift for painting and her older brother made sure that she always had paper and paints even if he had to steal them. She is now making a killing in the art world and could pretty much buy anything in the world that she would want except for one thing. That’s to be both loved and dominated by the one man that can give her what her body and heart wants. To be completely dominated by Tobias Edwards is the only thing that will make her feel complete. He’s always been gentle and loving towards Ruthie but she wants to submit to him as much as he craves to dominate others. Only once has he given her what she wanted and needed most but then he sent her away and asked that she never return. Three years later she’s tired of running and is going after what her heart and body wants.

Three years ago, Tobias sent away the only women he has ever loved because he craved to dominate her but she was too pure for him and he couldn’t let her be around him longer for fear that he would break her. When Ruthie returns he’s immediately drawn to her once again but as much as he loves to see his marks on her, he can’t bear to cause her harm. But with coming back, he unwilling puts her in harm’s way because a mad man is after him that will stop at nothing to get what he wants, even if that means that he has to hurt Ruthie to get it.

This was book 2 in the All or Nothing series. I went into this book without reading book 1 and I was able to follow along perfectly fine but you could tell that there was another story that you had missed. Yes, it was explained and you knew what you had missed but it made me wonder if some of the things that I was missing had been explained in more detail in book 1.

With that aside though I did like the story itself but I didn’t care for Tobias at all. He is the main reason that I’m giving this book three stars and not four (I don’t feel that it’s five star worthy at any point). To me, he came off as selfish and I felt that he wanted to dominate Ruthie at all times, not just in the bedroom. In fact, some of the things that he did to her made me hate him and I’d reach out and slap him if I could. Ruthie on the other hand was great, she was headstrong and stood up to Toby, she didn’t take most of his crap but there were times that I believe she should have been stronger and told him no but she loved him so much that she gave in more than I liked.

Ruthie Copland has loved her brother Jeremiah's best freind Tobias since she was nine and though they have been in a relationship and dating for several years , Tobias still has not let her in all the way. Tobias is a dominant man and he treats Ruthie as if she is fine china and he might break her. Ruthie, wants all of Tobias , so with her freind Candace's help she chooses a corset set and heads to Tobias house determined to have all of Tobias, he begs her not to go there ,he loves her but he is afraid if he allows his dark side free he will hurt her and taint the one thing that makes him whole.
Ruthie breaks down his defenses and Tobias concedes and treats her as his sub ,but in the end though Ruthie is well sated and happy, Tobias does not seek his release and she knows he has not given in.
Ruthie wakes the next morning to find Tobias gone and a note asking her to leave him, it's over, so she runs to Vegas and trys to forget Tobias . Three years later Ruthie is back home in Atlanta with one objective in mind , claim her man, because she can not live without him, so with Candace and her brothers fiancé Daly ( also Tobias sister) she plots to show up at the Bdsm club Jeramiah and Tobias own since Tobias is supposed to be doing a scene.
This is the point in the story that I absolutely came to love the character of Ruthie, because she just stood up and challenged him to come claim her while he was in the middle of a scene with another women!
These two clearly have much to work out and Tobias absolutely shows up , long enough to tell her to go back to Vegas,
Ruthie refuses and the game is on.
Besides the story line between Ruthie and Toby, a secondary line concerning the Mafia and Tobias andJeramiahs shipping business and a errant loose cannon Vessi Gallo from the Naples arm of the mafia is after Tobias ; and he will use Ruthiie t get to Tobias.

Ruthie is breaking down Tobias's resistance and when he finally claims her fully , Ruthie is thrilled and sated and thinking to herself ! That she was floating in a world all her own- one Tobias created just for her. " She'd need a sign
that read, Ruthie's subspace - Do Not Enter "

Tobias , being Tobias once he sees the Mark's he has left and the danger Ruthie is in beause of her association with him, he is even more determined to push her away.

So will he succeed? Will Tobias keep her safe from Gallo? Will Ruthie let him push her away?

Wonderful hot read full of suspense, engrossing characters and well written!

*I was given a free copy of this book in return for an honest review. All thoughts are my own. I was not paid by the publisher or the author for my review.*

This is the first time that I’ve read anything by Lea Griffith. I have to say… I was really impressed. I try to keep a really open mind when I start books by author’s that I’ve never read before. But y’know… sometimes you’re a little weary.

Will I like their writing style?

Will I like how they make the characters come to life?

Will I like the characters?

Will I like the story line?

Will I get my warm fuzzy feelings at the end!?

With Lea Griffith… the answer is a hell, yes.

I loved her writing style. It flowed and completely captivated me. I did not want to put this book down. The story line was one that I’ve never read before… and when I read the synopsis, I was definitely intrigued. The leading lady? She’s blind. Okay. Maybe I have read a book with a blind heroine, but not one like Ruthie Copeland.

She was such a fireball. Ruthie did not let her disability hold her back. So what if she couldn’t see? In fact, I hesitate to call it a disability with her. It was more of an impairment. Just because she was blind did not mean that she couldn’t do what she wanted. I loved that. I also loved that she was a painter. A freaking painter. Loved. It.

Tobias Edwards was the perfectly imperfect scared hero for Ruthie. He’s a bit of an ass (both an asshat and a badass) but he definitely also had his sweet moments. Because he’s a Dom, he has a certain way that he likes things to be and when he doesn’t get his way he gets rather… growly. I just loved him. There were absolutely times when I wanted to shake him, but most of the time I just wanted to shake my head and laugh at him.

There are some darker parts of the book that have nothing to do with the BDSM elements. There’s some murder, gore (just a sprinkle), a dash of some crazy with a bit of the mafia thrown into the mix.

All in all… it made for a wonderful book. I can’t wait to read whatever else she puts out. Lea Griffith is definitely on my “instant buy” list from now on. Especially if she keeps putting out stuff like More.

I would rate this one higher if I could, but completely give it a 10/10. If you like BDSM books with some suspense, bad guys, sexy hero’s, badass leading ladies and some Italian words thrown in… this is the book for you.

First of all, I was super intrigued by the premise of this book, not because of the plot line or the second chance love story, but rather because one of the main characters is blind. I have read books where one of the characters is deaf, and I ended up loving that book more than I can even explain because it gave me an insight into people that I hadn't experienced before. I really wondered how an author was going to describe things, when the character was blind. But I have to say without a doubt, this book was such a good read, and the descriptions are so good.

I really liked Ruthie, from beginning to end. She's such a strong girl, and I really appreciated that about her. Yes she is blind, but she never lets it hold her back, so much so that she has become a famous painter. Her and Toby used to be together, but he almost treats her with like kid gloves, so he hold back the dominate side of himself, until one night she convinced him. He couldn't accept what had happened and they broke up. Ruthie is back three years later, and with one thing on her agenda, getting Toby back, and to get him to be his full self with her.

I think part of the reason why this book worked so much, is that there is lot going on outside of the relationship aspect of the book. There is a lot of suspense going on, and things that are happening with all of the different characters that really keep the story moving at a fast pace. And a lot of times, it's out of these situations that a lot of the character and relationship growth stem from. I really liked how Ruthie wasn't the helpless female in the book though, I mean it would have been so easy to write her that way, especially given her blindness. But in reality, Ruthie is a force to be reckoned with, even in the most intense situations.

Ultimately, I really liked this story, but more than that I really loved Ruthie, without a doubt, Ruthie makes the entire book. She's just such a great character that she makes all the other characters around her come alive. I honestly wish more authors would write characters as strong as Ruthie is, and I loved the unique prospective the author was able to give up through Ruthie's perspective. I would easily recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a hot and steamy read, but also wants complex and well developed characters.

I absolutely adore this series and author!!! The drama, hot/steamy and connection between the characters is amazing. I honestly couldn't put this book down!!! This book is a second chance romance with a hint of suspense and a lot of erotic encounters.

This book is about Tobias (Daly's brother) and Ruthie (Jeremiah's blind sister) that were in the first book. Jeremiah is a big guy however he has a soft heart when it comes to his girl. Ruthie will do everything it takes to get and keep her man. They both have a love for each other that is deep and profound.

This read tests Tobias' control within himself. He is concerned about trusting himself to not hurt the love of his life – Ruthie. Jeremiah learns that trust must go both ways. Ruthie proves to Tobias that just because she is blind it doesn't mean that she is weak by any means.

Best line in the book is when Ruthie tells Tobias: “I'm back, Tobias. Put your big Dom panties on and come get me, yeah?”

Love the twists and turns. Another fabulous book in this series. Looking forward to the next book in the series!!

*I received an ARC of this book free from NetGalley on behalf of Random House Publishing Group – Loveswept in exchange for an honest review*

Blindness does not equal incompetence. Ruthie is one strong and feisty woman who doesn’t take no for answer when she truly wants something. Life hasn’t always been fair to her, but she has never let her disability keep her down. Known as the Blind Painter she has turned her passion for painting into a very profitable business, but she wants more. She wants Toby. And this time she isn’t letting him push her away.

Toby isn’t the most prestige citizen. His life has been wrapped in crime since he was young, but with the help of his friend/Ruthie’s brother, Jeremiah, and The Underground things have slowly been changing. Although there will always be those links that connect him to the unsavory crime filled life and he doesn’t want Ruthie anywhere near that part of him. He’s damaged goods and she’s too good for him. No matter how badly he wants her, he won’t push his darkness onto her light.

Now that Ruthie is back in town she will get Toby back, no ifs ands or buts about it. And he will without a doubt give into her stubborn beauty, but when past crimes threaten their future he will stop at nothing to keep her safe, even if it means pushing her away…again.

More is filled with strong characters, intense passions, blazing hot sex, and don’t let me forget the crime, torture, and suspense. It’s a perfect balance that will keep you glued to the pages. I cannot wait to read book #3, Never Enough.

My Favorite Laughable Moment: I absolutely loved when Ruthie shows up at The Underground to witness, front row, Toby’s scene with another woman…too bad he’s unable to finish once he sees her there. What she says to him about his panties had me laughing.

My Favorite Moment: I love what Ruthie says to Jeremiah at the end of this book when she reminds him of what she said at the age of nine.

This was such a different and phenomenal read. A BDSM erotic romance that centers around dominance and submission. The characters were amazing and the drama was intense. I love the mafia aspect to this as well. Loved this book.

Ruthie is a strong woman. She is blind famous painter. Three years ago she wanted Tobias to be her dominant, she learned all that she could about the lifestyle because she wanted him to have everything he needed. She submitted to him and after a night of pleasure he felt guilty and pushed her away. She moved to Vegas and painted, but finally gave up and went back to claim her man. Ruthie is bold, determined and doesn't let her disability give her a disadvantage. I loved how she could sense the change in emotions and when someone was around. I love how hard she went to get Tobias to fully open up and love her.

Tobias is a dominant in every sense, but his love for Ruthie blocked him from being his "true" self sexually with her. The first night as his submission made him want more which scared him and made him push her away three years ago. Now that she's back in town and ready to claim him, he isn't prepared for this battle in himself. Tobias is strong, stubborn and right down hot. I loved how he was willing and ready to protect and love Ruthie.

Jeremiah is a great brother. Candace and Daly are awesome friends. Dante was a weird one, but I loved what he and Sol were doing for the women. They have been Mafia, but they had good hearts. Savannah is a firecracker, but I enjoyed her character within the BDSM world and as a detective.

Vessi Gallo was the damn devil. His obsession with trying to kill Tobias and getting to Ruthie was insane. He was bat shit crazy! He is the epitome of what a mafia man is to me. Downright scary and deranged.

I enjoyed this and definitely may read the rest of the series.

This book is spellbinding; I was addicted from the very first moment!
So the story begins with Ruthie; Ruthie is blind, but doesn’t let that stop her! Oh no, she is a strong women, that is until it comes to Tobias; with him she is 100% his submissive, but even though Tobias is a strong Dominant, he is scared to show that side to her, he thinks he is protecting her by keeping it purely vanilla. That is until Ruthie offers him EVERYTHING! Tobias gives her was she wants, but in the cruel light of the morning, he sees what their passionate night has done to her and it kills him, so he sends her away…
Three years later Ruthie is back from Las Vegas, where she went to heal her wounds. She has grown even stronger; but that’s what heartbreak does to a girl. And now she is determined to bring her love with Tobias to a head! Does he want her and her love and accept there D/s roles or will he send her away again and make Ruthie finally give him up.
This book is amazing! It’s inspiring and it really helps you to understand the whole BDSM and D/s culture. I will admit, I cried through the prologue, cheered through the next few chapters, then the book managed to provoke a whole range of other emotions out of me through the rest of the book. It is quite unlike any other BDSM book I have read before, but it has fast become one of my favorites.
The writing is smooth, the story delicious and detailed. The author did not leave any plot holes and for that I am eternally grateful! I wish I had read book one in this series, so I could get to know a little more out the characters and their histories, as they are remarked upon them a lot, with that being the case, I would say that this book could not be read as a standalone.
I have decided to give More 10 out of 10, because it’s well-deserved and leaves you wanting …MORE ;-)

I was given this book by Netgalley and the publisher (thank you) in exchange for a fair review.

More by Lea Griffith is the second book in Griffith's All or Nothing Series, where it can be read as a stand alone book, I feel for it to be truly enjoyed to it's fullest, I would suggest reading book one, Too Much. This book was off the charts HOT! I had to turn the temp in my house, hot! It was full of BDSM, all the whips, a girl can handle. You will be left breathless and fanning yourself.

This beautifully written story is set in Atlanta, GA, with me being from Alabama, I've been to Atlanta a lot! I guess I'm naïve but, I didn't know there were clubs like that in Georgia. Let me find one please, oh yeah, I'm happily married and my hubby just wouldn't understand. So anyway, Toby has this BDSM club called the Underground, that he uh.... preforms or works, with Ruthie brother. Ruthie has been blind since childhood. Ruthie, being blind, has learned to be independent. That is something that all blind people strive for, something to be extremely proud of and so hard to let go of since it is something that was so much work.
Toby is a Dom in this club. Hmmm, see how things could get hard here?

Griffith did a wonderful job with these two characters, they are both complicated and love each other so much. The kind of love that would be willing to let it go if it would be best for the other person. Which is what Toby did to Ruthie three years ago. Let me tell you ladies Toby is going to frustrate you and you're going to love him too.

I give More by Lea Griffith 4 Platypires

STARS: 5
POV: Third
Series: Yes
Cliffhanger: No

We met Tobias and Ruthie in the first book of the series, Too Much. Since reading the first book, I have been anxiously awaiting this book. Now that I have read it, I want to reread it and reread it again. Gripping, touching, and erotic tale of two very head strong people, neither willing to bend, until they both realize that they want and need….more.

One night of unbridled passion between the very dominant Tobias and the willing submissive Ruthie leaves them desperate for more but afraid to seize it. Three years pass since that night and neither of them can shake that one night. Tobias has been through hell in that time, but all Ruthie care about is having her dominant lover back. She is willing to fight for it too.

Tobias is very stubborn and unwilling to give in to Ruthie. His past still haunts him and he’s afraid that what he truly desires from Ruthie will break her. Little does he know, she’s a big girl and can handle anything he throws her way. Now if we could browbeat that into Tobias…..

When Tobias’s past comes back to haunt him, he fears it may cost Ruthie her life. He worries that in order to protect her, he must keep her at arm’s length. What’s gonna happen???? Read the book. Plain and simple!

I fell in love with Lea Griffith’s writing long ago. I am truly addicted and plan to read anything and everything she publishes! Her writing keeps you on the edge of your seat desperate to know what is going to happen next. The books are steamy, raw, and full of deep heartfelt emotion. You can feel every single one that the characters go through. A must read! Go 1-click today!

I seem to be in the minority here, but I didn't love this book.

I mostly had an issue with getting interested in Ruthie and Tobias' story. There was a lot of referring to things that happened in their past (romantically) that made me feel like I was missing something. I was left wondering if it was delved into in the first book, but that seemed unlikely because that covered different characters. I'm sure Ruthie and Tobias were probably mentioned in the first book, but not thoroughly enough to fill in the blanks (can't say for sure though because I haven't read it).

Not only that, but I was a little bored with Ruthie and Tobias. I zoned out several times during the story and had to go back and re-read sections.

I also thought the mafia storyline often ventured into the ridiculous. Vessi Gallo was a character. Like a cartoon villain. I could have done without him. But at the same time, I felt like that storyline was wrapped up too quickly and easily.

I did like the fact that this story provided us something different by having a blind main character. There were points when I felt like my imagination turned to shadows and I couldn't see anything because Ruthie couldn't, which added this really cool element of being a little on edge because my senses were dulled and there was potential danger.

Unfortunately, I can't say I liked much else. Maybe this was a case of me and not the book because most everyone else seems to love it.

In this erotic BDSM romance, Tobias and Ruthie have come together again after a three year separation during which Ruthie decided that she wasn't going to let Tobias deny her and her love for him any longer. Tobias fears that his dark desires will hurt Ruthie but can't resist when she offers herself freely to him. Can they finally find the perfect balance in their relationship?

I really enjoyed this story. Ruthie is blind and this affects everything that she does and feels - her senses already on alert to compensate. She wants nothing more than to show Tobias that she is capable and competent in all things, including in the bedroom. Her strength is a key part of the story and I really liked how she was able to finally express to Tobias that she wants all of him, his kink, his body and his heart. Tobias too is an interesting character, dominant in nature and wanting Ruthie so desperately that he is willing to push her away for her own safety, fearing his nature will hurt her body and not recognizing until later that he is hurting her soul by denying her. There is a secondary subplot involving the mafia and I enjoyed that as much as the relationship between Tobias and Ruthie. It definitely added suspense and tension to the story, making it hard to put down. Though the BDSM play scenes were a little more intense than I like personally, the aftercare Tobias shows Ruthie demonstrates just how deep his feelings are for her. 4 stars for this entertaining erotic story.
