Curves for the Alpha Wolf

Rate this book
Chrissy is a werewolf with a problem: She's changed into a Labrador Retriever instead of a wolf. Worse, her old crush, darkly handsome alpha werewolf Justin, is the one to pick her up from the pound and force her back into her curvy human form. Chrissy is dismayed to find she desires Justin as much as ever.

Justin is a werewolf on a mission: He's determined to claim Chrissy for his own. He knows how to seduce Chrissy into freeing her inner wolf. All he has to do is convince her to submit her innocent flesh to him, and he'll take her until she's howling for more.

This story is short, fast paced and funny. I read this book within half an hour and was satisfied throughout. I just wish that it were a little longer. This book is the first book of Caroline Knox’s that I have read. I liked that Chrissy got kicked out of the pack for protecting her dog. It wasn’t nice that she was an outcast but she had her reasons. I have to admit, I chuckled when she was shifted into dog form and it was Justin that helped the situation.
I did see some chemistry between Chrissy and Justin but I would have liked a little more. That being said, I liked Justin and Chrissy together. I liked that Justin finally claimed Chrissy as his mate. I also liked that Chrissy got her shifting into a wolf sorted out.
I liked the ending of this book. I liked that Chrissy stood up for herself and protected her mate.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a nice read.

This book had a beginning that pulled me right in with its interesting take on shifting for the first time. But then the hot sex scene came up and was mostly same old, same old. And the fight seen with psycho crazy wasn't much to brag about either. I think this book would have potential in it were longer and had more back ground.

Too short!

now here is an author in which I wouldn't mind paying more for book. this was too short for me. 30 min tops. but it was really really good. I don't think ill purchase anything else from ms. knox unless she gives more details in her stories. the alpha goes for his mate who is a dog and mates with her. she turns into werewolf and when she turned she was of course attacked by another jealous bitch whom she kills and they live happily ever after.
