Dren has come a long way from the broken man stacking boxes in Arthursberg. Now a Level 4 Artificer and the proud owner of Dren & Associates, he’s ready to expand his ambitions—and his inventions. But progress doesn’t come without risk, and neither does adventure.
Tasked by the Green King himself to scout the mysterious Tallik Treetops, Dren sets off in his latest theWalking Bug. But what started as a simple quest quickly turns into a grand mission that will push him to his limits, forcing him to delve into new dangerous dungeons where peril lurks at every corner.
Along the way, Dren will face ferocious werewolves, a cunning necromancer with dark intentions, and a host of monstrous threats. But Dren is no ordinary adventurer—he’s an Artificer, and his ingenuity knows no bounds.
With every level gained, he’ll unlock new schematics, crafting ingenious weapons and tools to turn the tide of battle. And he won’t face these dangers alone. Allies, old and new, will rally to his side, each bringing their own strengths to the fight. Together, they’ll take on challenges that would crush lesser adventurers and uncover secrets that could shape the future of Arthursberg.
Will Dren’s creations and courage be enough to survive the trials ahead? Or will the dungeons, beasts, and darkness finally claim him?

Sadly this will be the last book of the series for me. There's just too many errors and mistakes the author made, contradicting himself within one or two pages sometimes. Dren shot a specifically wingless wyrm in the wings for example. How? Earlier he took an adventurer in that had the same last name as one mentioned a page before but a different first name.
Those mistakes just keep on coming and that's sadly enough to make me put down the series.
I liked it but felt it was kinda hard to look past the mistakes, like the ones mentioned before, about the name mixing when picking adventurers and the wingless wyrm suddenly being shot in the wings, but the worst to me was when he had purchased Linked II and Superior Cog Upgrades in chapter 16 and when he leveled up in chapter 33, the Feats were there like he hadn’t purchased them many chapters before, and when it appeared again in chapter 44 it pissed me off even more. I’ve started this series after The Secrets of Giantskarl Mountain Series and I gotta say, Arcane Artificer doesn’t hold a candle to The Runesmith's Trials. Nonetheless, I’ve finished it and I guess I’ll be reading the next one, hoping there won’t be as many mistakes (or none at all in fact).
I love the action and all the fighting in this book. But Dren is too easily drawn into things by his friends like Grella's revenge and the Princess mountain dungeon mission. It likes he goes above and beyond even when its not the smart thing to do; its beyond frustrating especially for a leader of an informal group. But I do like the author's story pacing.
It was a great story to show anyone can grow and should not be labeled. The story was shown that a good story does not need to be PG-13 or R rated to be enjoyable. Thank you the book.
Except that you don't keep your fact check available because you described a warm as wingless and in two paragraphs it somehow grew wings please double check the facts and fix the errors
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and engaging. The story and characters were incredibly interesting and entertaining. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book and series are definitely worth checking out.
