About the author

Ron is husband to Jen, and father to three silly boys and one sweet little girl. Ron is the award-winning author of "The Scariest Story You’ve Ever Heard," and "This Book Is Perfect!," part of the popular Finn the Frog Collection. All of his books are illustrated by the very talented and whimsical artist, Arthur Lin, from San Francisco.

Finn is a popular frog who lives in a book. When he sees that you, the reader, could be sick he does not want to get sick too. He plays doctor to help the reader get well, but only gets sick himself. He counts on the reader to help him feel better, but these human remedies only make things worse for him. Finally, when taking into account what our frog truly needs, does he get better. He realizes that kindness is more important than popularity.

Falls into the interactive stories category. Could really play this up as a read aloud at the beginning of winter for grades k/1/2. More in the series that I look forward to reading.
