Wind down from a busy day and get ready for bed with Daniel Tiger in this 8x8 storybook. It's almost time for Daniel Tiger to say goodnight, but there's still so much to do There's play time and then bath time...and don't forget tooth-brushing time Finally it's time to get cozy under the covers for story time and a special goodnight song. Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood fans will love winding down their busy day with their favorite friend before snuggling into their own beds to say goodnight (c) 2014 The Fred Rogers Company.

LOVED THIS! Perfect element for bedtime. Loved the storytelling. I loved that my son could follow along with the steps. You can't ask for a better bedtime story.
This book ties right in with the Goodnight, Daniel episode and I find myself singing the little songs from the show as we read (a plus for me as it makes the reading more interesting, but you do not have to sing to enjoy the story). One song rhyme which doesn't work in the show has been improved for the book, yay!
The only bad thing I can say about the book is that the paper and binding seem really cheap. We've had it a very short time and my daughter is not particularly rough on books, but several pages have ripped and/or look crumpled already.
Great for little fans of Daniel Tiger who are working on a bedtime routine.
We love Daniel Tiger! Here is a cute story about bedtime that shows little ones that getting ready for bed can still be fun, even when they want to stay up and play. This is one of our favorite bedtime stories!
A nice little bedtime story featuring Daniel Tiger. Daniel does not want to go to sleep, but with some creative songs from his parents, he finally realized the importance of sleep.
It is a simple book with great illustrations. Reading the book aloud is a little awkward because it includes many song lyrics (which if you haven't watched the show and don't know any of the songs, can be kinda weird). It is still a nice book and some of the other friends in the neighborhood make appearances (a fact the kid I read it to loves, because O the Owl is his absolute favorite).
Nice book with cute and calming illustrations. Good for fans of Daniel Tiger.
This covers common bedtime routine for most children: bathtime, pj's, brush teeth, story, song, bed. As with other Daniel Tiger books, I wish they put the musical notes and melody at the end of the story, because I really can't figure out what melody would make sense. I read the first instance but edited out the next 3 instances of "Daniel wants to play, but..." which makes it sound like going to bed is a loss, not a gain. I love the social reinforcement of showing all the neighborhood kids asleep, too.
I love all of the Daniel Tiger storylines. I feel like all of them teach a great lesson to the kids and also show how we should react as parents. This storyline was about bedtime routines. It wasn’t as great as some of the other Daniel Tiger stories, but it was still very effective. Lots of little songs in it if you’re familiar with the television episode
We love Daniel and this is a great book to reinforce bedtime routine and help with a child who has trouble stopping playtime at night. My daughter especially loves saying goodnight to all her favorite characters at the end.
This is a really nice overview that kids can understand on how to go to bed. Ozman was able to easily identify with Daniel as he and his family did a similar bedtime routine as we do. We'll have to get more Daniel Tiger books!
cute little night time book. great for kids who have a hard time getting to bed. not too many words on a page, pictures are fine but not my favorite style, pretty fun for multi-generations to relate with Mr Rogers neighborhood.
Another beautiful day in the neighborhood has come to an end, and now it's bedtime for Daniel Tiger. Although Daniel still wants to play, his parents help him to prepare for bedtime by helping him with his nighttime routine.
I listened in as J read this book to the girls tonight. There's not much to say about it, really. Just your typical Daniel Tiger book. L continues to be a fan of these and checks at least one out from the library each time we go. You can't go wrong with Daniel Tiger, but they're also not that exciting to me as the parent.
This was a very cute bedtime book for little guys. Using the characters from PBS show Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood based off of Mr Rogers Neighborhood puppets. Characters that are cute and easy for little guys to relate to. In this one Daniel wants to stay up and play but he knows he needs to get ready for bed. the story follows him through his routine until he falls asleep. My 4 year old granddaughter loved this story as I read it to her.
This book sets a great example for those of us parents who are at our wit's end. It's nice to have a detailed example of loving, patient parenting played out fully.
The pictures are engaging, and it does a great job of teaching children the importance of sleep. My hubby and I make up tunes for the songs, and my two-year-old likes them (whether they're good or not). Ages: preschool and up
If you haven't seen the episode or don't remember it very well, it makes it hard to "sing" your way through this book. Plus every time I read " Daniel wants to play, but...it's time to get ready for bed" my 2 year old starts yelling "NoOooOOoooo!"
