Fouberg’s Human Geography, 11 th Edition teaches students to appreciate the diversity of people, places, and cultures, and understand the role people play in shaping our world. The goals of this edition are to provide geographic context to global, regional, national and local issues and to teach students to think geographically and critically about these issues. Human People, Place, and Culture features beautifully designed maps, dozens of vibrant photographs taken by the author team, and author and guest field notes that help students see how geographers read cultural landscapes and use fieldwork to understand places. A newly designed demographic data table includes economic, political, and population data, all of which can be examined in ArcGIS Online.
Made me cry multiple times would not read again :(
My oh my..we meet again. Where I have gained an outstanding FOUR on the Ap Human Geo test. However you didn’t not help me study ONCE for that test! No no no! That all went to Mr Sinn and ap flashcards and my basic knowledge. There goes you actually deserve the one star rating I have left for you…haha…checkmate. Old friend. I hope whoever gets you next puts you to better use. Maybe you could be a cushion for some short man to sit on so he’s a bit taller. Goodbye. Old friend.
This book is just plain bad. There are no tables, no graphic organizer, no concept art, no nothing; just lines and lines of plain text going off-topic a lot and explaining examples that have nothing to do with the concept. It does have a few extremely low quality images that cover the entire page unnecessarily. Also, the chapters are all jumbled up compared to CollegeBoard's guidelines and we had to go back and forth during the school year.
