Nathan promised Jessica just one thing during those nights in his hotel room – sex unlike anything she had experienced before. She thought it would be simple, but with a man like Nathan, that’s not possible. He was complex, determined and too tempting to resist.
When her life intersects with his in the most unexpected way, she realizes that fate and chance don’t exist in his world. When Nathan wants something, or someone, he’ll have it, regardless of the cost.
As Jessica confronts the past she ran away from, the present that consumes her and what it all means for her future, one brief moment changes absolutely everything.
There is no one who can shield her from what happens next.
Deborah Bladon has never read a romance hero she didn't like. Her love for romance novels began when she was old enough to board the bus, library card in hand to check out the newest Harlequin paperbacks. She's a Canadian by heart, and by passport, but you can often spot her in New York City sipping a latte and looking for inspiration for her next story. Manhattan is definitely her second home.
She cherishes her family and believes that each day is a gift for writing, for reading, and for loving.
In Pulse, part 1 small-town girl Jessica Roth, Jess had one-night stand with enigmatic attorney, Nathan Moore, Nate. A night of endless fucking lead to many more as Jessica became Ms. Wednesday night.
Pulse, part 2 picks up after part 1’s shocking ending. It continues to follow theirrocky relationship of addictive sex blurred by lies, deceit and secrets. JESSICA ROTH, Jess, Jessie: 23 years/Former paramedic/Aspiring chef/Blond hair/Blue eyes.
Five words to describe Jessica Roth, Jess: Indecisive, conflicted, weak, annoying and needy. NATHAN MOORE, Nate: 30 (31) years/Attorney/$$$$/Black hair/Light blue eyes.
Six words to describe Nathan Moore, Enigmatic, complex, secretive, distant, demanding and commanding.
Just as I was thinking… that I wished Jessica would stop this wishy-washy mixed signals - such as going over to his house to tell him she is not going to do their one night stand (how about just not showing up, let him worry about finding you if he needs to!)…. Nathan throws me yet another shocking curb ball - 5-star cliffy!!! There is no other option, but for me to skip on over to part 3 Pulse III for the continuation of their story.
Borderline obsessive fuck-fest! Another brilliant cliffy!

Would I re-read this series: Probably not. Would I read future books by this author: Yes.
Holy cow! I know I should be sleeping right now so I can go to work tomorrow. But dam it! Miss Bladon is ruining my rest tonight with that cliffhanger!
I was si not cool with Nathan not replying Jessica calls. So not cool. I was screming on mg heas at Jessica being so stupid. Now I know why Miss Bladon made that twist.
He's such a wanker! I cannot believe Jessica keeps believing him all the time. To find his phone in the "fuck" pad (that he said he got rid of) with all those text's and the amount of Jessica's he had in his phone, total douche. I really want her to walk away because he's just toxic and will never be faithful or care more about anything other than his dick going into her vagina. gerrr... need part 3 now.
5 Countless-Orgasms-Stars!!***** im really loving all the twists and turns of this story between two broken people, clinging to one another despite all the bullsh*t that keeps coming between them. And the sex parts just bring a smile to my face (a naughty smile). ;) Nathan is confusing me though, he finally starts sharing more but then he lies and still keeps his fuck-pad?!?! What the f#%k Nathan?! :(
What can I say about this series?.... To sum up part II….
Jessica continues to push Nathan away
Don’t get me wrong, I love a chase, but I think that is my beef with books broken into parts. You just got to drag it out don’t ya?
So Jessica doesn’t want anything to with Nathan, because Nathan is a player. Nathan can’t stop thinking about Jessica and may…. “may”…. “reform”.
I’ve never been fond of the no strings attached relationship storyline because eventually someone will fall for someone. I also am not fond of the Heroine not wanting to commit. Correction, I am okay with the Heroine not wanting to commit, I’m just not fond of reading Jessica not wanting to commit.
There is nothing wrong with Pulse overall. It’s steamy, it reads easy and fast, but there is just something about the storyline that I am not getting.
Like I said before I feel like the story is dragging because the book is broken into parts. Jessica and Nathan still have mindless sex, but Nathan is still a player and Jessica gets fed up with it. That’s basically it.
I’m on the fence if I will continue, but knowing me, I probably will, just to see what happens.
Ahhh another cfiffhanger god I m glad I ve the next 1 ready haha an I just want 2 slap Nathan so much but luv him at the same time I can't believe Jess keeps fallin 4 his crap al the time an then he's so jealous he doesn't want her seein other men but he's not goin 2 commit more in there relationship but I know he's want 2 we just need 2 know more about him bring on the next book xxx
OMG...what a cliffhanger !!! Poor Jessica, I don't want to be in her shoes!! Right now that she was so happy and was trying to have faith in him...I really loved this cliffhanger...with Nathan you never get bored :D
Volume 2 left me just as intrigued and wanting to paw for more as the first. Oh Nathan, what have you done and the web of lies you are leading! I am left with so many questions that I am dying for the answers. Awesome second installment!
556 Book Chicks can't believe how good it got... Nathan is back and more narcissistic than before. I was soooo scared to even read this book...I was scared I was gone be disappointed because the first book was sooo good...then I was scared that this one was going to leave me with my mouth open and I would die waiting for book 3 to be released! I am happy and sad to say it left me with my mouth wide open and now I am impatiently waiting for the next book.
I am so frustrated...because Deborah Bladon still does not give us any insight into Nathan's big secret life. It is freaking driving me insane not knowing what the heck he has going on....please just tell us already!
I'm sorry...but the way Nathan dismissed Cassandra from his apartment - hell from his life...like no one has ever got dismissed so I don't give a f%ck before. Then she makes the mistake of asking him if he was sleeping with his new fling...like why do we as women ask questions we don't really want the answers to? I was looking at the book like whyyyyyy would you ask that...you don't want to know...and in true Nathan style he had to make matters worse. "Every chance I get." Like really Nathan...you couldn't just ignore the question. You know this book is well written when you can freaking feel the tension in the room. I felt bad for Jessica in that moment. But this Nathan is soooo good with words - he can talk a Nun out of her panties. Everything Jessica was throwing at him, he had a response for, but the way he describe his relationship with Cassandra - was like OUCH! "I screwed her against her against the wall in her office one night and then again in the back of a limo when she dragged me to an event. Both times almost fully clothed. Both times just my dick inside of her. Briefly. I didn't even come the second time." Well damn Nathan cut the lady a little slack, you did just break up with her.
In case you're wondering...I don't blame Nathan. Seriously, when a man is giving you nothing but a good roll in the sack. Which is another great reason to buy this freaking book! The sex between them is electrifying. It's the very reason why Jessica does not have the balls to question this man more. I came to realize this Jessica is not quite as smart as we would like to give her credit for.
I said it in my review of Part One...but I have to say it again - Rebecca ROCKS! This is the best friend that every girl needs. One that is will help you break into your man's sex pad - one that he is not even supposed to have anymore mind you - but only a great best friend would help you discover this. LOL! Let me tell you - I was damn speechless when they went in that hotel room! Like my heart was racing - hell I think I started seeing stars - but I could not breathe when she picked up that....
I can't believe you thought I was going to tell you what happened. Get your life and buy the freaking book! It's worth every single penny.
all is started with he explained himself with sex. "not tried to explain". keep ur attention pls.
he is in love, we know dis, but, he is the most brain-in-his-dick man on erotic romances history ever! im serious. take me serious. dont ask why you so serious, if you read part 3 u gonna understand Goody.
when a man tell "i'll do whatever i must to do for having dis", i want 'dis' mean as "her smile, her heart, her soul..." NOT everyfuckingtime HER FUCKING PUSSY NATHAN! ~nathan'ların yüz karası~ asdfadsfasdf why... JUST FUCKING WHY!
by the way, because of this, she gots all "he want me for ma body" BUT she is alllllllfuckingways telling him its over, and they are fucking, she is telling im going, and they fucking. really? cmon. uuuughh dont cmon.
aaaaaaaand the end, oh god this crazy shit end, why making some interesting and insignificant things, and creating a man who dont telling anyfuckingthing about his life? cuz those thing are shits. about past or future or now, he kept himself closed to her (but so closer to her pussy) and all of these make lots of fun. not actually, lot of misunderstanding goes to shits! shits shits and shits. dont do dis. actually, all book goes around that theme. *shits* im sick of book.
Pulse is the story of Jessica Roth and Nathan Moore. Jessica, who was dumped by her boyfriend moved to New York to start a new life. She meets Nathan Moore, an attorney, by chance and their worlds collide in all sorts of ways.
Nathan is a womanizer, who only has one night stands and has a hotel room where he takes his conquests. This one night turns into many as they cannot seem to get enough of each other. The story continues in each book, each book having some sort of cliff hanger ending.
These books are short and to the point and I loved each and every one of them. They pack a punch and you find yourself turning the pages and wanting more. I was lucky, because all four of these great books were out, so I was able to read them all in one go, however, in saying that there is to be a fifth in the series, which I am hanging out to read.
I give these books a five star rating and look forward to the next in the series.

This second installment surprised me with it's emotionally geared plotline. We finally get to know more about Nathan and Jessica, if that's even her real name. I like that her story is more than a really bad breakup from her boyfriend and that Nathan wants to help her solve her problems back home. But if I were her I would have written Josh off all long time ago, he is such a jerk!
Seeing Nathan open up was amazing and there are a lot of good lines in this one too. Totally worth the price since I could finally connect with the characters more. Not to mention all the many sex scenes but they're all different unlike a lot of "episodic" romances.
So I am going to rate the entire series instead of each Novella.
First things first. I loved this series and I am so reading Impulse (Nathan's series right now) I loved the characters, I understood the problems, and I thought that it was brilliantly written.
The only reason that I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is because that it was written into four short books and that drives me crazy because they were each 80-100 pages. It would have been brilliant if I would have had one 400 page or more book.
That does not take away from how brilliant this book was though and I have to say that if you like a strong alpha male. Try this one out because you may be pleasantly surprised.
This is why I love her and (hate) ( joking) :) her at the same time. I bought these books when I was finishing reading the Exposed Series. I tried avoiding the peer pressure of reading reviews for this series cause I know we have cliff hangers at the end of all, so I decided I would wait until book 3 is released, but I gave in finally and could not help myself and now am screwed cause am literally in knots waiting for June 17th to come as quickly as possible to know what happens next. OMG Deborah knows how to keeps us wanting "Moore" !
Ugh still hate it, but need to know what is happening next. Holy cliffhanger and man does the author know how to pull you in even though you don't want to read anymore. I don't like the characters, Nathan is a douche bag and Jessica is a weak minded girl who needs to grow up and grow some balls! But I will be purchasing book 3 because I just need to know what "great" excuses he is going to spin this time...
Gah! I never read stories with men that are cheaters, but somehow I've been dragged into this one and I can't put it down. The h
All the twists and turns have me going mental, and I desperately want the h to to kick this guy to the curb! He is a royal grade A douche bag! I don't know how this is a 'romance novel' as the H is a cheating, lying, asshole, but god damn, I want to find out how it ends, lol.
