This review is for the 2020 edition of this series. While slightly dated, it's full of wonderful information for those who want to explore the gorgeous Pacific Northwest, particularly Washington State and Oregon. Not a lot of pictures but the ones included are beautiful.
Highly recommend. Some of the listings aren't very detailed, but they did a great job with the information presented.
I live in the area so I already knew about a lot of the places listed, but I did find a few hidden gems that I'm anxious to explore

This travel guide has a list of 25 top destinations, as well as some preferred itineraries with hidden travel gems. There is a separate map of Seattle, I guess because that city is the hub of all things Pacific NorthWest. It lists some highlights such as Pike Place, Space Needle, EMP Museum, Chihuly garden and Glass, and the Museum of History and Industry, which I will have to check out on my next Seattle visit.

The top 25 destinations include Portland and Vancouver, B.C. I like the list of hot springs--for Oregon alone, the author lists Bagby, Umpqua, Breitenbush, Belknap, and Crystal Crane.

Some good details in this guide for the visitor to the Northwest USA.

Can you guess where my next holiday will be? Well, this is one part of it at any rate. Reading this guide you'd think this was the most wonderful place on Earth as the writers / publishers sure know how to make a place seem special. As with all LP guides it is well written, quirky at times and always useful.

Washington, Hoh Rainforest, Makah Reservation, ShiShi Beach, and the San Juan Islands are included in this- it was alright. We bought it for the San Juan islands, and a lot was overlooked. Not their best work.

Should be flying off the shelves. However the coverage of the southwest portland suburbs is a bit slim.
