Pirate of My Heart
Promised in marriage to a wealthy, Dutch planter she'd never met, Analisa Vanderman was en route to the Dutch East Indies and social respectability. Love was an impossible dream—until a darkly handsome smuggler was taken aboard her ship, sentenced to the gallows for his crimes.
Even in chains, Michael Rowland possessed the power to kindle Analisa's desire. Convinced that he was innocent, she knew that the only way to save his life was to help him gain his freedom. Yet as passion flamed between them, Analisa knew that she belonged to another man...unless she could escape the vengeful planter who claimed her and find her future with the sensual pirate who had stolen her heart.

I blame The Pirates! (by Gideon Defoe) for my reading this. The Pirate Captain wrote a book called "The Pirate of My Heart" and, well, my sister and I just had to find an actual romance novel with the title. (As the other book with this title appears to be an inspirational, we were in agreement that we would avoid it.)
I liked this book surprisingly well. My sister DNFed it, but I suspect that was due to her dislike of the setting.
