Can you wipe the slate clean and start a new life? Rita O’Brien hopes so. She leaves a broken heart and a failed business in Kerry for a new beginning among the bright lights of Dublin. She soon settles into her new life with new friends, but things get complicated when two men enter her life. Who is the right man for her? Ricardo, with his Latin good looks and easy charm, or Josh, the true-blue friend?
The turmoil in her life re-opens new wounds that Rita has kept buried deep inside. She realises she must confront her past and correct a mistake she made years ago.
Will she make the right choice when it comes to love? Will her quest to find someone she lost heal her sorrows? Rita tries her best to find the right path in the hot pursuit of her dreams.

Set in Dublin and its beautiful surroundings with frequent trips back to the west of Ireland, this novel is the third in the popular Kerry series.

A third ‘Hottie’ by Susanne. (Hot Property, Hot Gossip). And it is a hottie! This time, we’re in the company of Rita, who made an appearance in Hot Gossip.

Lovelorn thirty-something Rita grabs an opportunity to start a new life in Dublin, working for a topnotch hairdressing salon. New life, new job, new friends: will this help her forget the object of her unrequited love? Will it help her forget the memory of a mistake she made as a naive sixteen-year-old? A mistake she feels compelled to right if she is enjoy her new future. She tries her best with the help of the dishy Ricardo, her hairdressing co-worker and Josh, the intrepid war correspondent. One is her lover, the other her best friend. But has she got them the right way round?

Once again, Susanne hits the spot with this romance. Colourful, interesting and funny characters against the backdrop of the gorgeous Irish countryside are the perfect ingredients for this story. It’s well balanced, the characters natural, the dialogue fluid and fun, and it’s all presented in Susanne’s usual, mellow, warm style.

Easy to read, easy to enjoy and very easy to recommend! Will we be Hotting up again, I wonder?

Kerry Romanse

I have read every one and I love them all. Ireland is like home to me. I live in the US but every visit to Ireland is like coming home. Suzanne O'Leary paints a vivid landscape of Ireland and the joy of brings to her love stories. Thank you for these 4 takes of joy.

Coláiste Íde

A pity research didn't go deeper. Coláiste Íde is the name of the All Irish Boarding school accross bay from Dingle. Also Gaeltacht (ie Irish speaking area) is West Kerry also West of Dingle and not North Kerry. Good book though Peig

Pleasant and fun

Already posted. Good quick read series. Realistic characters. Funny. Transitions well from one story to the next with out being repetitive. Will read more Susanne O, Leary book's. Love the description for the country side. Good read with a hot cup of tea.

Again another good read, out of the three books ( this, Hot property and Hot Gossip ) i enjoyed this one the most, it has a very clear simple story and although as all 3 books, its a romance, it was light and the main story a mothers pursuit to find closure and begin a new life is the main feature of the book.

I loved this book a great ending to a great series. Rita moves from her hometown when the man she loves marries someone else. She has a past that has caught up to her and a daughter that decides to go away to school. So now she is in the big city, not knowing anybody. Can she find love and the peace that she deserves?
