this book was a maybe for me. I think it was because I didn't know that it was a series. it's book 42 in a series. this book was around 200 pages, so it wasn't long at all. there didn't seem to be a lot of gaps but the way the book was written there was definitely tidbits that I feel like were involved in the series backstory. I love criminal minds and shows similar to that so the fact that the FMC was a profiler was what drew me to this book when I read the description. I did really enjoy the story! it definitely kept my attention, and I do want to read more books by her. dark matter has been on my TBR forever!
