When Ella Mikowski decided to plan her dream wedding, she had no idea what she was getting herself into. Will Ella manage to make it down the aisle with her sanity intact?

Nicole has never met a genre she doesn't like. She dabbles in everything from science fiction to contemporary rom-coms to fantasy fiction.
Nicole has previously published under the pen names Elizabeth Darcy and Anne Wentworth, but is no longer using those names.
Nicole has had a lifelong passion for the written word. As a child, one of her most treasured Christmas gifts was an electric typewriter, which enabled her to crank out her stories even more quickly than she could with a pen. Naturally, the personal computer is one of her favorite inventions. When she isn't writing, Nicole can usually be found curled up in a chair, whiling away the hours with a good book.
One of Nicole's other great passions is travel, and she has visited Europe, as well as traveling to many of the fifty states. Her favorite trips include visits to Paris, Maui, and various parts of Belgium. She feels fortunate that she is married to a native Belgian, as it gives her plenty of reasons to visit Europe as often as possible. Also, it gives her an excuse to eat Belgian waffles regularly.
Born and raised in Michigan, Nicole lives there still with her husband and two beautiful children. She thinks Michigan is the greatest state in the country, and Michigan State University is the greatest university in the world.
This is a modern-day rom-com serialization of the seven days leading up to Ms. Ella Mikowski and Mr. Masato Coleman’s wedding day. I must admit it was too hard to pick just one quote from this eight-episode series to showcase the hilarious and descriptive voice of the author, Ms. Nicole Ciacchella – so I just included the tag line above.
This is the first novel I have ever read by Nicole Ciacchella and I was truly impressed and delighted to read a realistic contemporary wedding story without cutesy love language, and no bridezella’s or groomzella’s involved. The format of the eight-episode rom-come was creatively conducted like a sinuous sonata with notes of hilarity, pathos, friendship, and love. The quirky cast of characters added to the couple’s back-story without overwhelming the entire series. The world-building was true-to-life; the pace of the plot was fluid, and it was an enjoyable easy read.
The complete set comprises of eight episodes:
Episode 1: Things Get Hairy Episode 2: The Hot Seat Episode 3: A Thorny Problem Episode 4: All Dressed Up Episode 5: On a Bad Roll Episode 6: Lord of the Ring Episode 7: Force of Nature Episode 8 A Cake Walk
Always, I will not divulge ANY spoilers, Beautiful Bibliophile as I wish for you to savor this seven-day journey leading up to the wedding day.
I gave this book four (4) stars as I Definitely Appreciated this Sidesplitting Serial Rom-Com and I Ardently Advise You, Dearest Reader to Buy this Complete Series.

So the story starts a week before the wedding. The main characters are introduced over the entire length of the book whenever a calamity needed additional back story. There was no conflict between bride and groom, only between main characters and supporting cast. This would have been a great plot as part of a bigger story about the couple. Not sure I will read anything else by this author.
This was an interesting collection. Once I started I could not put them down. I was captivated by all the people who involved and I was sorry for it to end. I am a forever faithful fan of this author
If my wedding plans ended up like Elma and Masato's I would have been committed to the mental ward. A week before their wedding control freak Ella and laid back Mass to endured everything from a bad trip to the beauty salon to a ruined cake the morning of the wedding. Thankfully friends and family come together and "save the day" A fun read
