I absolutely love mysteries, so whenever I can find a mystery to read with our girls (that is age-appropriate, of course) I get really excited. We read The St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Mystery last year in March and decided to read this book in February of this year. From what I can tell, there are only two books in this series about the twins Kate and Mickey, and I'm disappointed that there aren't more.

This is an entertaining story about twins who solve a mystery of a stolen pin on Valentine's Day. I thought the story was good, and we chose to read it now in honor of the holiday. Our girls enjoyed the story and I like that it was more of a grown-up mystery than some of the other children's mysteries we've read.
