Very neat way to learn.

I was never one to learn how to knit or crochet. This book really gives you the right way to learn. I don't know if I'm capable of learning how to do this and remembering how each stitch is done. I know a few people who knit and crochet and they say it's fun once you learn. I'd rather read books, that's what I'm good at.

very basic

Even if you were a beginner, this is probably not a necessary book for you. If you know how to do a single crochet, this book is not necessary. It has only three or four patterns that are basic and pretty much anybody with a working knowledge of crochet can do

This was a well written, concise instructional manual of the A to Z on crocheting. It is loaded with wonderful visuals from numerous positions of the various stitch types, basis hook holding positions, pattern reading, and a couple easy projects at the end of the book.

The novel brought back many funfilled, childhood memories of my grandmother and I crocheting several bedspreads, as legacy heirloom gifts for her daughters, including my mom. Yes, I was, and am now the proud owner of the one my mom received.

Ms. Wright's book is more than a 'how to instructional manual'. Yes, fellow readers, I am also delving back into crocheting for 2016.
I would highly recommend this book for anyone teaching a young beginner, looking for self instructions, or as a refresher manual.

Great Guide

This is a great concise guide for the beginner/novice crocheter. The explanations are clear and organized in a user friendly format. This book is something you can return to when those basic crochet principles become confused or forgotten. There are many basic crochet books, but I really like this one.

It was okay, not outstanding. Seemed repetitive of one of her other books from what I saw. I found other more helpful as a newbie.
