A re-read of the first volume and a binge of the rest. Only four out. I liked it. Easy to get into. A noble that gets praise on both sides. A hero and his best friend working in tandem, killing demons and forming connections.

I love how this volume expanded on how magic works in this world and highlighted how Werner thinks. I'm having some issues remembering the different characters after waiting for each new volume to come out, so I might wait until a few more volumes are out before I continue.

Overall, this series boasts gorgeous art, well-crafted characters, and a plot that keeps me engaged regardless of how much progress we make each volume.
