River Whitetail survived being bitten by Titan, a rogue Alpha Lycan. She survived learning she was an Omega and finding her fated mate, Lycan Alpha Prince Ares of Wolvenguard. But discovering she is also the fated mate of Ares's twin brother Apollo might just send her over the edge.
All River wants is a normal life as an artist. Instead, she’s engaged to her fated mate, Prince Ares, claimed as the fated mate to his twin brother Apollo, and their bastard older half-brother Titan still thinks she belongs to him. So, instead of making wedding plans with Ares, the Elder Council sends her to the woods for a secluded vacation with Apollo so they can get to know each other before she has to choose between him and Ares – thereby choosing the next King of the Lycans. No pressure.
Apollo has spent the last twenty-eight years in the shadow of his twin brother. Apollo is everything Ares isn’t. Down to earth, funny, laidback, and completely unconcerned with taking the Lycan crown. Everything Apollo has ever wanted, Ares took – but not this time, not with River. River is his fated mate, and he’ll happily fight Ares to the death for her.
There’s just one the twins will have to form a truce if they intend to keep Titan from taking River for himself.
Titan is willing to kill anyone and everyone to make sure neither Apollo nor Ares gets River or the crown of the Wolvenguard dynasty.
Even if it kills River and everyone she loves in the process.

I love this series. Of course, I am a sucker for the omegaverse and any shifter book and add in Rebekah Ganiere as the author, and I know I'm going to be hooked. Alpha Claimed has been no different than any other book by this fabulous author, and I absolutely loved this book. This has been such a delightful series, and it's kept me on my toes the entire time.
Having been bitten (and survived) by Titan, who is a rogue Alpha Lycan, we find River Whitetail with her head spinning a bit. Not only has she learned that she is an Omega, she has also found her fated mate, Lycan Alpha Prince Ares of Wolvenguard. On top of that, because that's not enough, she learned that she's also fated to Are's twin brother Apollo. And I can't help but honestly think that this is going to cause her to go over the edge of the sword she's been balancing on.
We all know that River just wants a normal life, to be an artist. But, rather than what she wants and dreams of having. She now finds herself engaged to Prince Ares, claimed as fated mated by his twin brother Apollo and the icing on the cake of all this, this older brother Titan (well bastard older half brother to be exact, but he's still their brother none-the-less), he still thinks and refuses to let go of the idea that River belong, belongs not fated, not loves, not wants to be with, BELONGS TO HIM.
Now, River and Ares can't plan their wedding. The Elder Council intervens and sends River and Apollo into the woods for a one on one vacation, just so the two of them can really get to know each other better before River is forced to choose between him and Ares. She is there by choosing the next King of the Lycans, so really she feels no pressure. Sure!
Apollo, having spent 20 years in Ares shadow, is everything that Ares isn't. He's down to earth, funny, laid back, and unconcerned with anything to do with the crown. He is completely the opposite of Ares. He's everything that Ares isn't. And for the first time in his life, he's willing to fight Are's for the one thing they both share, a fated mate, River. And he's willing to fight Ares to the death if that's what it takes to win River.
But, Apollo may need to form a truce with Ares if they plan to keep River safe, and if they want to keep Titan from taking her as his Queen and more than that, if they want to keep Titan from taking the crown as his own.
Apollo and Ares both know that Titan will kill anyone and everyone who stands against him. He wants River as his Queen, and he believes that the crown of the Wolvenguard dynasty is his and his alone. And he believes that it's his, even if it costs River, everyone she loves and everyone around him.
Alpha claimed to let us really focus on Apollo and River's relationship, which I think is something that we needed. River has been struggling with how she feels about Apollo and I think that has a lot to do with the fact that she doesn't know how to handle having multiple mates and she can't ignore having a second make.
Apollo is such a great character, and I actually prefer him over Ares. And I know why. Ares is just too uptight. Apollo is easygoing, patient, kind, understanding, funny, laid back, unconcerned with the crown, opposite Ares. Ares, on the other hand, has a dominating personality and just isn't Apollo. Really, I think both Apollo and Ares are perfect for River, and I think the right thing for them is for all three of them to rule together.
Slowly, things settle down between River, Apollo, and Ares, and I love the steps they are taking together, its just perfect for them. I just hate that Titan has to take it all away from them in one foul swoop.
This one has a mind-boggling cliffhanger. Honestly, I need the next book like now. I just know that everything is going to go down in that book and I need to know what's going to go down and I need to see our River go all powerful and all kick-ass Omega and show Titan just who he decided to mess with.
If you thought the first book in this series was intense, Alpha Claimed cranks it up to a whole new level! Rebekah Ganiere delivers a thrilling sequel packed with emotional turmoil, sizzling chemistry, and jaw-dropping twists that will leave readers on the edge of their seats. This time, the spotlight shifts to Apollo, Ares' twin brother, and his dynamic with River. Apollo is the polar opposite of his domineering brother—easygoing, patient, and kind—but his possessiveness toward River is just as fiery. The brothers' interactions are tense and often humorous as their rivalry plays out in their fight for River's affection. River’s journey is nothing short of compelling. Being the first Omega in generations comes with its challenges, and the Lycan council’s demand for her to choose only one mate between Ares and Apollo adds even more pressure. Her deepening bond with Apollo makes her struggle all the more relatable. Both brothers represent different sides of her soul, making the idea of choosing one nearly impossible. The story balances emotional depth with thrilling action and tantalizing slow-burn romance. Just as things seem to be settling between the trio, the plot takes a sharp, unexpected turn, leading to a cliffhanger so shocking you’ll find yourself frantically flipping the pages, desperate for more. While the book’s repetitive elements and love triangle setup may not appeal to everyone, the character development, world-building, and the tension-filled dynamic between River, Ares, and Apollo make this an unputdownable read. Apollo’s introduction adds a fresh layer of complexity to the story, and the hints at future developments (possibly including their half-brother Titan) are tantalizing. This second installment continues to build on the strong foundation of the series, blending steamy romance, heart-stopping action, and gripping drama. Highly recommended for fans of paranormal romance looking for a series that keeps them hooked from start to finish. I can’t wait to see River come into her power as a true Omega and navigate what promises to be an epic continuation. The stakes have never been higher—bring on the next book!

Its been a while since ive done an ARC, but this series captured my eye. I always had a weakness for shapeshifters / werewolves books. And this book was exactly what i needed. It was fast paced and fun too read.
This is book 2 of the series and this one was more about River and Apollo then River and Ares. But i loved it, even tho i have a weakness for Ares, Apollo isn’t that bad. What i loved more about Ares is that he is true to himself and River, he doesn’t keep his true self from her, so if he killed he doesn’t keep it from her. And yeah Apollo lied somewhere in the book about not hurting someone when he still did it, so that rubbed me in the wrong way, like okay yeah you wanna impress River but please keep true to yourself. So book 1 was my favourite cuz of Ares and i loved it more.
Overall this book keep you on your toes, theres a lot of action, which i loved a lot! I dont wanna give away too much so just read it.
If you’re into shapeshifters, werewolves, fated mates, reverse harem, found family and a strong FMC with badass mates, go read this!

Alpha Claimed is the first book in Rebekah R. Ganiere’s Lycan King Wars trilogy. I was immediately enamored with the trilogy with the first book, Alpha Marked. I don't think I could say which book I like the best if I had to choose, so please don't ask.
Like Alpha Marked, Alpha Claimed pulled me deep into its world the moment I began reading. I can’t get enough of the amazing world that was created for this trilogy and never want it to end. Alpha’s, Omega’s, and werewolves—what more could you ask for?
One woman, two, no wait, three men are fighting to mate their woman, which just happens to be the same one. Oh, and did I tell you the three men are brothers, two of which are twins?
River is having a hard time choosing the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with and be the queen of the pact. Who will she choose? Which one is the best man for the job? How can she choose between them?
Alpha Claimed was just as intense as the first book, Alpha Marked, with its many twists and turns that kept me hanging on every word. Just like with the first book, Alpha Claimed had me racing to the end to find the answers to all my questions. I can’t wait to read the next book in the Lycan King Wars trilogy.
If you like werewolf stories with a little bit of spice, then grab a copy of Alpha Claimed today!
Alpha Claimed focuses a lot on River and Apollo's building relationship. River definitely struggles with her feelings towards Apollo, especially because Ares is also her mate, and she can't ignore that fact.
I really like Apollo, honestly, probably a little more than Ares. Apollo is extremely easygoing, patient, kind, and understanding where Ares, as we know, has a very dominating personality. However, I also think that both Ares and Apollo suite River so well because they each call to a different part of her soul.
Things seem to start to settle between River, Apollo, and Ares, which I think is an amazing step in the right direction for them all. The problem is that a certain someone shatters this reality for them.
That cliffhanger was mind-blowing. I can't wait until the next book because I know it's going down. I kind of want to see River go all powerful and bada$$ Omega and show them all who she really is.
Highly recommend this series!
Thank you so much to Rebekah for the opportunity to read this story. I am forever grateful 🙏

🐺 why choose (slow building) 🐺 insta love 🐺 fated mates 🐺 told in 3rd person 🐺 shifter romance 🐺 bada$$ fmc 🐺 slow burn
This was good. The romantic plot was simple but the storyline was still very compelling, mainly due to the female lead, River, who is likeable, smart and brave.
In this book, we see River forced into a situation where she has to choose between two brothers, Ares and Apollo, and her choice will determine the future of the Lykan crown.
In my review for book 1, I mentioned that this series doesn't really follow the standard beats for a RH romance, and is written more like a MF romance. This book continues along similar lines, although the romance is now more like a love triangle, with River caught in the middle.
A few things came to a head in this book that I didn't expect, and I enjoyed seeing the differences between the two brothers' lifestyles. I'm also starting to feel that Ares might be the better match for her after all...
Lastly, I'm really intrigued to see how the author will redeem the 3rd brother as a potential love interest. Technically, he's her first mate even though she rejected him, so there may be some lingering connection between them he can manipulate.
Looking forward to book 3!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This second book is a quick read focusing on Apollo and River. Apollo is Are’s twin with an easy going temperament, a direct contrast to his brother. However both prove to be fiercely possessive of River and are constantly fighting over her. It’s a bit humorous at times when the brothers fight. All of the main characters are likable and the story\plot isn’t very deep nor descriptive. In fact, this second book is pretty much like the first with different elements factored in.
This series is marketed as a reverse harem but it appears to be MFM maybe? Perhaps Titan (half brother to the twins) will factor in? The author is admittedly new to writing RH and it shows when trying to piece the relationships together with the two brothers, each getting a book to cement their connection with River. Other than Ares popping up to interact with River \Apollo, the majority of the book reads MF but in a love triangle. (Where she’ll have to choose).
Still, even with the repetitive plot, an enjoyable read and I’m very curious with what happens next.

So first off I finished this book in absolute shock and I can't wait to read what comes next. This book was even better than the first and I have a feeling it will only get more intense in the next.
In this book we get to know Ares' twin brother Apollo. These two men are truly opposite sides of the same coin and it is no surprise that River being the first Omega in a very long time is mated to both brothers.
As River is set to spend the week getting to know Apollo she finds that she enjoys spending time with him as much as she does with Ares. She is so torn knowing they expect her to choose when the time is up because she knows hat they both belong to her.
This book has more of the slow burn we found in book one until everything changes. Things get spicy in this book. We also have plenty of damager and secrets. The kicker is the ending because that comes out swinging. I was left desperately looking for more pages because there is no way I can accept that ending.
I can not fathom what all will be happening in the next book but I need to know immediately.
When River gets to Ares estate. She can't believe how big and beautiful it is. As he is showing her around. Someone grabs her around her waist and says "mine". She is shocked as her wolf says "mate". At the same time. She turns around and realizes. Ares has an identical twin. Ares and his brother Apollo immediately start to physically fight. And she doesn't know what to do. Her wolf thinks they are both her "mate". The Lycan council decides that Apollo gets to spend time with River. Since Ares has already had a lot of alone time with her. So, she can then choose who will be her mate. The more time she spends with Apollo. She realizes she can't choose just one. She needs both of them. This was so good!! I literally devoured it! I love how you get to know Apollo. And how he's almost completely opposite of Ares. Except when it comes to River. They both had the same tendencies and possessiveness towards River. Add in that the twins hated each other. Makes for a lot of tension! The only thing I didn't like is that it ends in a cliff hanger!!
I'm not a fan of "why Choose" tropes, but the plot was just so good! It is defiantly a far cry from basic. So In this book, we are walked through the journey the FMC takes in getting to know a possible mate. This can be counted as somewhat an enemies to lover. So by law and at the beginning, the main character is forced to spend time with a potential mate suitor, her lover's twin!!!! And ultimately she has to make a decision on who will actually be her mate AND the King of the kingdom. The love development in the story was cute. Her resistance and loyalty is very relatable and praise worthy lol. In the time she spends with this future suitor, she not only discovers a different side to herself but also faces life threatening events BECAUSE someone is still out there trying to get her!! When she does make a decision though, she is faced with another heart wrenching PLOT TWIST!!! This series thrives on plot twist and cliff hangers.
The plot was really good but "why Choose" trope is just not my thing. Still liked the writing tho
This is the second book for this series and it's really best read in order. River has been through a lot and just wants to be an artist. Well, that ship has sailed since she's got a partial mating to Titan (in book one), who thinks she belongs to him, and she's fated to Ares and his twin Apollo. Yikes! Of course, nothing is simple when the council makes her take a wee vacay with Apollo to give them time to learn each other - so she can choose who she'll mate and by default, be the next Lycan king. Wow, so much pressure! I really like how things progressed in this installment, with Ares, Apollo and River starting to settle down. Each male pulls at something different in River and I think they'll need to work together to keep her safe from Titan. So exciting and quite the wild reading ride ;D You definitely can expect to hit hard at the cliff hanger ending and I know I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the next book to see how things continue to unfold. I think it's going to be epic and I can't wait :D
Book one was incredible. We meet River, get her story which is quite shocking and then she manages to find some peace within her art that is until she meets Ares, her fated mate and the prince of Wolvenguard where she once again finds her world turned upside down. Book two OMG, this girl just cannot catch a break as she discovers Apollo, the twin of Ares could also be her fated mate so instead of planning a wedding to Ares, River finds herself having to spend time with Apollo because she is told that she has to choose between them. Throw in the half brother Titan, the leader of the rogues who is claiming River is his and he will stop at nothing to get her or kill anyone in his way. It’s a fantastic read, gripping, exciting, and the author does a terrific job of drawing you in with the slow burn and then BAM!!! That ending…….. OMG. I cannot wait to find out what happens in the next book!
This was a great sequel to the first book in the series Alpha Marked. It jumps right into where we left off in book one, so you must read that one first to understand the full story. Even though Apollo and Ares are twins they are complete opposites. We get Ares and River in the first book and Apollo and River in this one. I absolutely loved getting the triple POV to fully understand how they all felt about the situation. I do think Apollo had it easy with River since she already accepted she was going to have a mate, Ares wore her down on the idea. I was interested to see how everything would play out because there was no way she could choose. I don't want to spoil it but it's a little crazy how it all worked out between the three of them. Major cliffhanger at the end of the book, but I am so excited for the next book to see how it all plays out.

Coming off of the first book in the series it's extremely hard to accept the idea of River with another alpha. Even if that alpha is Apollo, Ares's twin brother. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. It was a struggle to watch her give Apollo every benefit of the doubt and place blame on Ares even when his brother was at fault. Even when he admits to all of the horrible things that he's done to Ares, it's still spined like Apollo is the one who gets mistreated. I didn't like it to say the least. Although the brothers differ, they're alike in a lot of ways that River just seemed to ignore. Often looking at Apollo as this gentle giant when he can be just as ruthless as his twin. To me it seemed obvious that she pulled more towards Apollo over Ares. The book ends on another cliff hanger, and it was frustrating to say the least. I guess we'll see how the series wraps up.
This next book in the series focused a lot about River and Ares twin brother Apollo learning about each other and growing g their relationship which is hard for her at times as she struggles with the fact that she has a connection with both Alphas.
I enjoyed getting to know Apollo who is very different from Ares and a lot more easy going.
I really like Apollo, but Ares also makes River happy so I can see how they both bring out the best in her in different ways.
Things start to look up in the end of the book with Ricer feeling more confident in her choice of who to be with, when a giant cliff hanger appears. Now I’m hanging for the next book to know what happens.
Loving this series and can’t wait to hopefully see River happy her happily ever after.

This is the second book in the Lycan King Wars trilogy. This is my first introduction to Rebekah R. Ganiere’s world. This means that I need to read the first book in this series before the third book is released. I was a little lost at the beginning of the book but I was able to follow along and understand the story the more I read. River is the lucky FMC who has to choose who will become both her mate and the King of the Lycans. Both twins are sexy, possessive and protective alphas. Apollo has the softer cinnamon roll type of personality. Ares has more of a take charge daddy type of character. The twist at the end just about blew my mind! Thank you, Rebekah R. Ganiere for introducing me to the hottest set of twins I have read about lately! I cannot wait to read the conclusion to this story. I also look forward to adding your books to my TBR list!
Alpha Claimed is the second book of the Lycan King Wars and continues the story of River Whitetail whose steamy omegaverse adventure becomes more intense as she navigates wolf shifter politics while trying to live the life she wants.
Discovering the truth of who and what she really is and with the Wolvenguard Crown on the line, fate is really messing with her.
Fated mates, action, passion, family dynamics, danger, and choices that have to be made continues to power a nicely written narrative that flows through an expertly crafted read and with a dramatic TBC end that has the next book not coming soon enough!

*I was given this book as an eArc but my review is based solely on my own thoughts and opinions*
I just love fated mates and why choose and this has both? Oh and add on brotherly rivalry, who will she choose? At first I was all Ares and the after I was all Apollo and then I became just as confused as River haha. I do feel this book does get rushed towards the middle and end, there could have been more. It feels more of a novella which is fine, I always just want more when a book is so short. However, I still loved it. And that ending!? Say what!?!? I also love how her mom Cherry is having sort of a redemption arc, I’m loving her and Striders relationship. Just so cute. Can’t wait to see what happens.
Alpha Claimed continues the story of River who has learned she is not only the mate of Ares but Apollo, his twin brother.
I would give this book a 3.5/5 stars - it was a quick, easy read. I loved that even though River was still adjusting to being an Omega and what it all entails she still had spunk and wasn't afraid to stick up for herself. The brothers each had their own strengths and interests that balanced each other as well as what River needed from her mates. The book leaves off on a cliffhanger and I'm interested to see how things play out with Titan, Ares and Apollo's older half brother.

Just like with Alpha Marked, this book was soooooo good!! I knew it would be! It picks up right where Marked leaves off, and the action just barely stops. It's easy to read, quick, and a great read. I received this as an ARC, and this is my honest review. I have to say I found myself slowing down my reading midway through the book, cuz i really wasn't sure I wanted to finish. I knew/know there's another book coming, but I just didn't want to finish it and not have the next book right here on hand to read!! But I'll say, it's so juicy, HOT, and has more twists and turns than the first one! An absolute must-read!!
This is book two in the series and pick up where it left off. Let me tell you I was hooked from the start FYI this too ends with a cliffhanger and twist that has me running to the next book. We meet Apollo, River and Ares. Just when River is ready to accept it that Ares is her mate things take a turn when Ares’s twin brother Apollo shows up and claims that River is also his mate. Apollo and Ares have a difficult relationship and cant stand each other. Now with two alpha brothers claiming she’s their mate River is forced to pick between the two. Who will she pick or will the brothers share their mate?
Aries found River in New York after a week he took her home where Apollo’s claimed her too. She was told that she had to choose but didn’t know how. The elders told Apollo and River to spend time together for a week, then she got shot by Titan’s rogues. Apollo and Aries were both her mates. The day they were having a banquet to tell everyone, Titan and his rogues came. Aries got shot twice and Apollo was shot once but the bullets had silver and wolfsbane plus her mother was shot too. After Titan took her his rogues attacked Aries and Apollo but then the rogues were stopped.
River was attacked years ago and struggled to get past things. When she found her mate in Ares she fought it, until she couldn't any more. They headed to his home only to discover that his twin is also possibly her mate. Apollo is done letting his twin take everything from him. River is his mate and this is his chance to prove it. River is torn, and there is still danger lurking out there, can the brothers get along enough to face the coming danger? I love this book and can't wait to see what happens next!!
The second book in this series is just as enthralling as the first. Again I finished it in one sitting. I was so hooked I just kept turning page after page to see what was going to happen next. There is a lot of action, twists, turns and surprises. The characters and the world building are amazing. The growth of the characters is outstanding. River having to choose between Ares and Apollo would be difficult for anyone. This is a great series so far and I can't wait to read the next book. I absolutely recommend reading this series!
Ares and Apollo turn out to be two faces of the same coin - and River's treasure. It's up to her to choose her own future, a rare opportunity… or is it?
Rivers' dilemma is as old as the ages: is fate written in the stars long before each being is born, or is everyone free to determine their own path?
I'm still pondering on this while sitting on the cliffhanger expected at the end of a second part of a trilogy. Will the answer at the end of the trilogy satisfy?

Oh My Goddess !! This story just gets better and better !! Without giving it away ; it is a fly by the seat of your pants rollercoaster ride with sexy alphas on every corner !! River is at the center of it all and Ares, Apollo and Titan ( the rogue who bit her in the first book ) are wanting to claim her for themselves . To say the least Alpha wolves don’t share well at the best of times and these are not those times ! It once again ends on a cliffhanger ( darn it all ) !! So I want book 3 asap. ! 5 ✨’s
I loved this book for exploring the developing relationships between River (FMC) and her Alpha Lycan mates, Ares and Apollo (MMCs). I liked how attentive and protective the MMCs are of River. The characters really draw the reader into the story and I have become completely invested and can’t wait to find out what happens in book 3! I feel like I should have seen the cliffhanger coming -especially after reading book 1! But it crept up on me and devastated me at the same time. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves shifter romance with multiple mates. It’s so good!
While the beginning, getting to know Apollo and setting up the story was necessary, it seemed to lack the detail to keep me as engaged as the first book. It seems as the book went on, some of the plot and interactions between Apollo, River and Ares was dragged out, and the inevitable story of Titan and the rogues appears to be hastily added. Understandably to continue in book 3, however I would have like to see more of it developed in this book.
Overall it was a good easy read, that had expected outcomes for the 3 main characters and a sneaky (but also somewhat expected) cliffhanger.
A nice read. This book followed River and her possible bond with the other twin. It dealt heavily on her feelings for both Aries and Apollo. For me this book was not as fast paced as the first but it still is a great story. It draws you in and leaves you excited for the next book.
I think this is a really good series overall. If you like shifter and reverse harem books then this is definitely for you. The writing keeps you engaged.
I received a free copy of this book and am leaving a my honest opinion voluntarily.
River has found herself not one but two fated mates. But the council says she must only pick one of them....How will River decide, will see find away forward and keep them both or will fate intervene?
This second book in the series ends on a cliffhanger, it is beautifully written Character development and the interactions between each one is well done, so well done, with enoughvtwists andvturns and angst to keep you hooked in. I managed to read this in one day.
