Romanian writer and editor of dark speculative fiction. Editor-in-chief of Tenebrous Press and writer of WHISPERWOOD, THE NIGHT SHIP, and TATRATEA, as well as short stories and articles.
Tenebrous does such an excellent job of sourcing just first rate stories from authors who will likely be new to you, many of them being in an underrepresented minority. This issue was phenomenal from the stories to the non-fiction to the little extras like the horrorscope. The cover and interior art were excellent as well.
An excellent output of dark fantasy and horror from Tenebrous Press. My particular favorite was Atalanti Evripidou's 'The Macabre Dance of the Fiddler and Kore' - a delight of a hard-boiled pastiche in a city where the dead visit regularly and folk wear their bones on the outside. Skull & Laurel have given us some amazing work in their first year, and I look forward to seeing where they go from here.
