Say Cheese is the second book in the Destination Wedding trilogy, part of The Way to a Woman's Heart series. This sexy, contemporary romance is packed with sharp humor, laughs, swoon-worthy moments, unshakable friendships, and a feel-good happily ever after. Enjoy it as a stand-alone delight or dive into the series for even more unforgettable love stories!
Destination Wedding trilogy One Cup of Chemistry Say Cheese Kebabs and Kisses
Sheri Tyler crafts romantic comedies that blend laugh-out-loud moments, heartfelt connections, and just the right amount of chaos. Her books whisk readers away to charming locales, creating swoon-worthy escapes filled with humor, love, and second chances.
Her newest series, the Destination Wedding trilogy, begins at a lavish double wedding in Turks and Caicos, where sparks fly and unforgettable love stories unfold. The journey kicks off with One Cup of Chemistry, a laugh-out-loud romance about a brilliant cancer researcher and a charming professor learning to balance groundbreaking science with an unexpected love story. Next up, dive into Say Cheese, where a daring stuntman and a resilient author discover the thrill of taking chances—in work, in life, and in love. Finally, savor the humor and heart of Kebabs and Kisses, where an underwater engineer and a neurosurgeon find themselves navigating an unlikely romance under the island sun.
Sheri’s The Way to a Woman’s Heart world also includes the Coming Home trilogy, which invites readers to experience love, laughter, and family in the cozy town of Sewickley. From Slow Simmer, a deliciously romantic debut, to Here’s the Scoop, a page-turner guaranteed to keep you hooked, and From Bitter to Sweet, a story of love’s sweetest second chances, this series has something for every romance fan.
When she’s not penning contemporary romances, Sheri steps back in time as Sheridan Jeane, writing steamy historical romantic suspense filled with intrigue, passion, and adventure. No matter the era, her stories deliver sharp-witted banter, endearing characters, and plenty of romance to keep you turning the pages.
Growing up with an artist/art-therapist mother and an opera-loving engineer father, Sheri believed everyone had a kiln in their garage and nailed shingles on freshly built family projects. Turns out, not so much—but those experiences shaped her love for creating stories filled with humor, warmth, and the beauty of connection.
This is exactly the kind of feel-good romance I crave: a perfect blend of swoony chemistry, laugh-out-loud moments, and characters you want to hug (and occasionally shake). Rose is the kind of heroine you root for from page one—bookish, driven, and hilariously awkward in heels. Sean is a rugged, adrenaline-chasing stuntman who somehow manages to be emotionally unavailable and totally irresistible at the same time. Their meet-cute (involving a pool, wet Louboutins, and a very public rescue) sets the tone for the flirty chaos that follows. The opposites-attract trope shines here, but it’s the emotional depth that really got me. Rose is trying to keep it all together—her job, her writing dreams, and a relationship with a man who literally jumps off buildings for a living. Meanwhile, Sean has never slowed down long enough to think about what he really wants—until Rose. There’s international travel, festive holiday vibes, steamy kisses in unexpected places, and a tight-knit circle of friends that gives the story so much warmth. And just when I thought everything was golden, the book hit me with emotional punches I didn’t see coming. If you love contemporary romance with sharp banter, slow-burn tension that delivers, and the kind of ending that makes your heart soar, Say Cheese is your next must-read. I received a complimentary copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Y’ALL. This book was a romantic whirlwind in the BEST way possible! 🌪️💖 If you love opposites attract, forced proximity, and a stuntman hero who will literally jump off buildings but is terrified of falling… for her? 😍 Yeah, you need to read Say Cheese!
📚 What I loved: 🔥 Sean Ross – daredevil, smooth talker, and completely smitten with Rose from the moment he pulls her out of a pool (Louboutins ruined, dignity barely intact) 💃 Rose Oliver – a librarian turned romance author balancing way too much, but somehow finding time to steal Sean’s heart ✈️ Long distance tension – between amazing trips to Paris and stolen moments, their relationship is a perfect mix of passion, uncertainty, and undeniable chemistry 🎄 Festive vibes – holiday moments, decorating Christmas trees, and that cozy, feel good romcom magic we all crave 💔 Will they won’t they drama – missed calls, high risk careers, and two people who have to figure out if love is worth the leap
This book was funny, spicy, and so sweet, with just enough angst to make that HEA hit. If you love Emily Henry meets Tessa Bailey, add this one to your TBR ASAP!
Thank you to NetGalley, Sheri Tyler, and Flowers and Fullerton for the eARC of this book.
She’s a Librarian turned Author , He’s a stuntman who wears Louboutins . Never the Twain shall meet except when you take a tumble in the pool and this stuntman Sean Ross was like a steed on a white horse only he just ruined his Louboutins of course when he dived in. Rose Oliver is a bit aghast when she made of herself quite an ass. She splashed in the pool such a fool but her hero sure looks nice as…She’s already doing a balancing act with all she has going on . Now she can add another one . Where she meets up with a man who leaps off buildings… I love this book so much! She wanted the quiet librarian bookish life with her writing not the chaos that a stuntman brings with him but between whirlwind visits between Paris and then tree decoration . Who knows where their next station will be . Will they even stay stationary?mRise is smart as a whip and funny as well as Sunny . She’s also the only woman who has made Ross even consider settling down. It’s destination wedding and a bit angsty and chancy but it’s a dance they both signed up for…Opposites collide ,sliding right on into love . But is it what they both can be sure of? Read and find out in this great book that is heaven go take a look. The writing is sublime and I had a good time reading
Say Cheese by Sheri Tyler is a delightful, light-hearted romantic comedy that’s packed with charm, witty banter, and global adventures 🌍💫
Short Synopsis (no spoilers!): Rose Oliver, a librarian-turned-romance-author, attends a destination wedding where she accidentally falls into a pool—and into the arms of Sean, a daredevil stuntman 🏊♀️🚫 The sparks fly, leading to whirlwind trips—from Christmas tree decorating to a spontaneous visit to Paris—where we see if opposites really do attract 💕
The chemistry between Rose and Sean is adorable, the tone is fun and upbeat, and I loved the fast-paced, feel-good storytelling .
It felt like a rom-com movie in book form—breezy, romantic, and perfect for brightening your day ✨ But sometimes the characters felt a little surface-level, and the predictability kept it at 3.5 stars for me.
Still, I had a blast reading this and would absolutely recommend it to anyone craving a quick, charming escape with heart 🧡
The two main characters are pretty much as “opposite” as two people can get. Rose Oliver’s comfort zone is in finding stability in her life. She was a librarian and pushed herself to become a romance author. Of course she also takes on too many other tasks that keep her over-extended. Sean Ross lives for a chaotic existence as a stuntman where anything can happen. He loves adventure and surprises. Their meeting occurs in a unique way when Rose falls into a pool at a wedding and is rescued by Sean. Dating each other is an active experience with trips to Paris and enjoying each other’s company. But Sean’s dangerous lifestyle starts to upset their plans and Rose wonders if maybe it’s too high-risk to continue worrying. But can she give him up? Can he risk losing her? Is love worth making the sacrifices needed to have a real future together?
Say Cheese by Sheri Tyler is book 2 in the destination wedding trilogy.
Rose Oliver is a librarian turned romance author. She is chasing her dream of becoming a well known author, trying to balance her day job, writing her book and a long distance boyfriend. Sean Ross is a professional stuntman. Sean is used to keeping relationships short like his action sequences.
Rose falls into a pool at a fancy wedding. and Sean fishes her out. Between trips to Paris and decorating Christmas trees they fall for each other. But missed calls, canceled plans, and Sean’s career start to threaten their happy ending.
Thank you Sheri Tyler for working with NetGalley. I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion and review.
This book was cute. We have Rose, a writer with a quiet life and Sean, a stuntman always on the go. Together they have to find a balance to be with each other. It’s a cute read. They have a very nice meet cute. Sean’s lifestyle does make Rose feel a certain way due to her past. Each of them have similar beliefs about relationships but they seem to handle it in different ways. They just have to decide if protecting themselves is worth risking each other.
I liked the characters and their growth in the book, however, it felt a bit dragged out. This is of course just my opinion.

Sheri Tyler (AKA Sheridan Jeane), is an author I always enjoy. Her “The Way to a Woman’s Heart” series is great, and I like that it’s split into a couple of trilogies, in the same small town, with crossover characters we are familiar with.
The Destination Wedding trilogy is now two books in. Say Cheese is the wedding of one of our couples from the first trilogy, a Ross brother, with the famous stuntman finally returning to the small town for the nuptials. He runs into (literally knocking her into the pool), Rose, the librarian turned steamy romance author, Sean finds himself having a wedding fling…
The complete opposites attract coupling between the shy librarian author and the daredevil stuntman who only does one night stands shouldn’t work, but he suddenly finds himself inviting Rose across the ocean to his next movie and finding every excuse to keep seeing her… and I couldn’t put this book down. It was as wild and exciting as his stuntman job, trying to find out how this totally crazy pairing and storyline would work and where it would go - and it was a thrilling ride! As with all Tyler/Jeane’s books, I absolutely recommend it, to one and all! Reading the entire series would be best because having the previous backstory would help, but you can get away with this as a standalone.
Thanks to NetGalley and Flowers and Fullerton for the early copy. This is my honest feedback.
Say Cheese is Book 2 in the Destination Wedding Trilogy. It's a spicy, opposites -attract, instalove with a little slow-burn vibe, destination wedding, girl gets her hunk romantic comedy. Rose is a sweet and somewhat shy librarian turned romance author who thrives on order and discipline. Sean is a hunky stuntman who lives flying by the seat of his pants. Their meet cute is great. This book had lots of laughs, hot chemistry, some angst, and finally, a great HEA. It was a little slow for me at times but overall loved it!.

This book is perfect for those who love a good opposites-attract romance filled with witty banter and high-stakes career conflicts. The story is packed with emotionally charged adventures and unexpected twists, making it a truly captivating read.
The characters are relatable and their relationships are chaotic yet heartwarming, providing a perfect balance of humor and heartfelt moments. Readers who enjoy stories with strong, independent characters who learn to compromise and grow together will find this book particularly appealing. The fast-paced plot and engaging dialogue will keep you hooked from beginning to end, leaving you eager for more.
A fast paced, sweet, whirlwind of a romance in a tropical setting and more! Easy, beachy read!
Rose and Sean are such fun characters! She's a grounded, librarian turned writer and he's a stuntman traveling the world doing daredevil stunts. They're such a great counterfoil for each other. But will their differences hinder their crazy romance. It's a sweet story with great characters.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary digital ARC in return for my review.
This is a sweet story where the focus is the development of the relationship. I think the book wasn’t really my kind of book but if you like a sweet story with likeable empathetic characters and low angst it might suit you.

This is book 2 in Tyler's The Way to A Woman's Heart trilogy. A cute, opposites attract romance read. Our main characters are Rose and Sean. Fast paced with a dual point of view I loved how Tyler brings these two together! Can't wait for the final book in this Destination Wedding trilogy.

So many great quips and swoon-worthy moments mixed with a bit of angst. I love these characters. Sean and Rose are perfect opposites on paper but their souls mesh beautifully. The supporting cast are great fun and provide depth and context to the story very well.

Opposites attract for this librarian who wants to be settled and a stunt man who is always on the go. Light hearted romance but also quite a bit of steam.
Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review. Watch for Say Cheese to come out March 3, 2025.
This is a spicy, light-hearted, instalove romance. I wouldn’t really call it a rom-com. It has more of a “slice-of-life” feel, rather than compelling action that drives the plot forward.
An Romance Author and a Stuntman!!! say no more!! Rose and Shaun are my most favourite couple after Courtney and Grayson! their adventures together, their bond.... everything touched my heart!! thank you soo much Netgalley for giving me an opportunity to review this wonderful book!!
This story is the epitome of opposites attracts. She is an aspiring author who is finally getting the big break and book deals with TV interviews and all that... with a side trauma of fear abandonment. He is a a stuntman, always on the go, starting a new international stunt business with fear of commitment. Needless to say they seem to need different things.
My mind was all over the place reading this. At times I was completely bored and reading as fast as i could to get to something interesting, which was usually something around traveling and the stunt work. On other parts I was just annoyed with the lack of understanding from the MFC but still claiming she wanted to be with him... he couldn't be clearer on who he is.
Although this is of course a happy ending, I think they would have been better off going their separate ways. There wasn't anything truly unique about their connection (aside from th author telling us not showing us there was) for him to give up on his dream just beginning for hers... i don't know it didn't quite seem fair to me and that took me out of the story because I could tell that's where we were headed.
Fun, cute and light-hearted, Say Cheese by Sheri Tyler is about a woman who yearns for a home of her own and falls for a man whose job makes him travel a lot.
Summary: Rose Oliver is a small-town librarian who has achieved her dream of becoming a romance author. At her best friend's destination wedding, she meets Sean Ross, the brother of the groom. She also happens to be a fan of his. Soon, they begin a sweet relationship.
Tropes/Genres: • opposites attract • best friend's brother-in-law • librarian/author fmc • stuntman/celebrity mmc • contemporary rom-com • a trip to Paris
Review: This book was adorable! I could feel the connection between Rose and Sean from the moment they fell into the pool together. The author does a great job painting their travels and diving into their relationship issues.
Rose is a librarian who recently received a three-book deal, thus achieving her dream of becoming a romance author. She's such a sweet girl. Her behaviour during the third-act almost-breakup kind of gave me the ick, but looking at the bigger picture, it's undeniable that she cares about Sean. I think she needs to get a therapist and stop being so clingy towards Sean, though.
Sean is a stuntman with some level of celebrity status. Due to the nature of his work, he travels a lot. This puts a strain on his relationship with Rose, who seeks stability. However, he puts his all into making things work out. I love the way he supports her unconditionally and isn't afraid to admit to his flaws.
The two of them are simply adorable. Their relationship issues are realistic, and I love how they talk things out when there are problems instead of needlessly causing misunderstandings to come between them. These two genuinely care for each other, and it's wonderful.
In conclusion, I recommend this book to romance readers who are keen to read a fun and light-hearted opposites-attract love story.
This book is a beautiful cozy romance with a sweet adventure between Rose and Sean. When opposites attract between a handsome Stuntman and a beautiful Librarian/Writer it couldn't get any better. This fast paced story makes you happy while also touching on more sensitive subjects like loss and loneliness really well.
I love that this book is a love story between a librarian/author and a stuntman because how often do you see that?! This book is cute but it moves QUICK! If you’re into slow burn romances, this isn’t the one for you. And with a dual POV, which is always a plus!
